World Heavyweight champion Edge + Jeff Hardy: Edge came out and insulted the fans saying they never accomplished anything in life. Edge said he was different because he’s a winner, not a LOSER. Edge said he wasn’t afraid to take a chance. Edge said when Kofi Kingston was “injured” he offered up his services to replace him. Edge showed off his newly won World Heavyweight title. Edge bragged about being an eight-time World Heavyweight champion. Jeff Hardy interrupted with some new freaky face paint to have some words with Edge. Hardy called Edge the ultimate opportunist, but pointed out that Edge gets special treatment because he is married to the General Manager. Hardy challenged Edge to a match tonight for the World Heavyweight title. Edge asked Jeff he was taking illegal substances again (not funny). Edge said that Jeff has no claim to challenge for his title. Hardy reminded Edge that he pinned him in three minutes at No Way Out. Edge teased the fans and said it wasn’t going to happen. Hardy said he should try to pursuad the boss because she wears the pants in the family. Hardy said that Vickie pulls the strings and Edge dances. Hardy said Edge has to raise his hand to go to the bathroom. Edge snapped and went after Hardy, but got levelled by a Twist of Fate!

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Vickie Guerrero & Kizarny + Edge: Kizarny came in and tried to do a knock knock joke on Vickie but Edge barged in and threw him out. Edge was furious about what Jeff Hardy did and wanted a match with Hardy tonight. Vickie said she can make the match, but doesn’t want to make it a title match. Edge said “of course not, because that would be stupid!” Vickie looked disgusted with Edge until he apologized.
DIVAS TAG TEAM MATCH
Maryse Ouellet & Michelle McCool defeated Maria Kanellis & Eve Torres: Michelle & Maryse make a pretty hot tag team; too bad their partnership is doomed to fail. Michelle did most of the work, but Divas champion Maryse was the one who scored the pin over Maria.

VALENTINES DAY FOOTAGE
John Morrison & Mike Mizanin and Nikki & Brie Bella + Carlito & Primo Colon: The Miz & Morrison won a date with the Bella Twins by defeating the Colon Brothers last week. Morrison opened his shirt and one of the Bellas said “what are you doing, we’re in a restaurant!” and Morrison retorted, “what? I’m hot!” The other Bella wanted to order food so the Miz rudely called the waiter over. After they got their food, Miz & Morrison took a fit and yelled at the waiter waiter for what they called poor service. They cut to the kitchen where the Colon Brothers were dressed up as cooks. Primo said they need a new plan because the Miz & Morrison won’t eat their food. The cooks went out to the table to apologize to the Miz & Morrison and offered them complimentary desserts. The Miz & Morrison recognized the Colon brothers, who panics and threw pies and accidentally hit the Bella twins!
TAG TEAM MATCH
Montel Vontavious Porter & R-Truth defeated Shelton Benjamin & Chavo Guerrero: R-Truth did his usual entrance through the crowd doing his “What’s up?” rap. Chavo Guerrero attacked R-Truth as he was jumping the rail, and Shelton Benjamin speared R-Truth’s leg into the safety barrier! MVP ran down to help his tag team partner but the damage had already been done, so MVP had to compete in the match without a partner. Guerrero & Benjamin were double-teaming MVP until Chavo turned on Benjamin and gave him a frog-splash before walking out! MVP recovered and hit the Drive-by kick for the 1-2-3 to win yet another match!
SIT-DOWN INTERVIEW
Jim Ross & Triple H: They showed a long highlight video covering Randy Orton kicking Vince McMahon in the head last month, the subsequent fallout from that incident, clips from Orton vs. Shane McMahon at No Way Out, the unsanctioned rematch on RAW and the shocking moment when Orton RKO’d Stephanie McMahon. Triple H awkwardly sat in the chair next to Jim Ross and said Randy Orton has been walking a fine line around here for a while now. Triple H said last week on RAW he (Orton) put his hands…. long pause…. took a drink of his water…. Triple H said a lot a lot people might not like his father-in-law (Vince McMahon), but he is a 63 year old man. HHH said Randy Orton kicked him in the head and hid behind doctors and lawyers. HHH said Orton did the same thing to his brother-in-law Shane for trying to defend his father. HHH said he (Orton) then put his hands on his wife……. HHH looked into the camera and said “you crossed a line, Orton. One you can’t come back from.” HHH was choked up and continued talking into the camera “Stephanie is the mother of my children!” HHH ripped off his microphone and walked off the set..

Umaga defeated Scotty Goldman: This would be Scotty Goldman’s final match on SmackDown! as he was released from his contract several days later. What a waste. That guy is frickin’ talented. Hopefully Colt Cabana will return to Ring of Honor now!

General Manager Vickie Guerrero: Vickie Guerrero yelled “EXCUSE ME!” and said she had something very important to say. Vickie must have said some nasty heel crap during the commercial because the locals would not stop booing her! They showed clips of Shawn Michaels and JBL setting up a match on RAW for the right to face the Undertaker at WrestleMania. Vickie said the Undertaker was on HER show, so if anyone was going to face the Undertaker at WrestleMania it would be the undefeated Vladimir Kozlov!! Interesting conflict. Vlaidmir Kozlov came out and stood next to Vickie Guerrero. Vickie said Kozlov will prove that he is worthy of this challenge, he will defeat the Undertaker in a match next week on SmackDown! Kozlov cut a Russian promo saying Shawn Michaels & JBL are not undefeated but he is. Kozlov promised to break the Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak..

HALL OF FAME ANNOUNCEMENT: They announced that The Funk Brothers will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame! They will be inducted by “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes the night before WrestleMania 25!
NON (WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT) TITLE MATCH
Edge defeated Jeff Hardy by DQ: After a long battle, Matt Hardy showed up and attacked his brother to cause a disqualification. Matt Hardy stood over Jeff Hardy and said it didn’t seem like he could get rid of the black cloud over his head. Matt said he would give Jeff an opportunity to turn his luck around next week – you and me, one on one! Matt Hardy walked away and Edge callously speared Jeff Hardy in the middle of the ring!
