Patterson is recognised as the very first Intercontinental Champion.. Brisco is known as one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time with his brother, Jack.. Patterson & Brisco both took up office positions within the WWF after their retirement.. Patterson & Brisco both became very influential in backstage politics and running of the company.. In Mid-1998, Patterson & Brisco became WWF television personalities, acting as Vince McMahon's 'stooges'.. ~~~The "Stooges" often used the familiar "Real American" entrance music used by Hulk Hogan throughout the 1980s.. Patterson & Brisco would do all of McMahon's dirty work, like coffee, errands, or even taking on somebody in the ring! Patterson & Brisco would come out to Hulk Hogan's old theme music from the 80s and 90s, and rip off their shirts.. May 18, 1998 - RAW: Steve Austin defeats Patterson & Brisco by DQ.. January 4, 1999 - RAW: Kane defeated Patterson & Brisco.. January 18, 1999 - RAW: Chyna defeated Patterson & Brisco.. Patterson & Brisco left Vince McMahon after he set up his own daughter to marry the Undertaker at the Darkside Wedding.. March 15, 1999 - RAW: Shane McMahon w/Vince McMahon beat The Legion of Doom (Patterson & Brisco) in a Handicap match.. March 22, 1999 - RAW: The REAL Legion of Doom showed up and attacked Patterson & Brisco backstage for mocking them.. May 3, 1999 - RAW: Patterson & Brisco defeated the Mean Street Posse by COUNT OUT.. May 10, 1999 - RAW: Patterson & Brisco defeated the Mean Street Posse by pinfall! June 14, 1999 - RAW: Patterson & Brisco fought to a NO CONTEST with Mideon & Viscera.. June 21, 1999 - RAW: Patterson & Brisco became "associates" of Commissioner Shawn Michaels.. Under the threat of Triple H and Degeneration-X, Patterson & Brisco rejoined Vince McMahon.. September 6, 1999 - RAW: Patterson & Brisco defeated the Mean Street Posse.. December 16, 1999 - Smackdown!: The New Age Outlaws defeated Patterson & Brisco to retain.. May 18, 2000 - Smackdown!: Bisco fought Crash Holly to a NO CONTEST.. June 5, 2000 - RAW: Brisco defeated Crash Holly to retain the Hardcore Title.. June 12, 2000 - RAW: Crash Holly defeated Brisco for the Hardcore title.. June 19, 2000 - RAW: Brisco pinned Crash Holly to win the Hardcore Title, followed by Patterson pinning Brisco to win the Title! King of the Ring 2000: Brisco & Patterson fought in an evening gown match for the Hardcore Title! Crash snuck in and won the belt!
