In The Beginning: A young Nelson Scott Simpson always dreamed about being a professional football player.. Due to several injuries and a small twist of fate, he ended up becoming a professional wrestler.. 1984: Nelson Scott Simpson graduated from college and was looking to enter the National Football League.. Getting Into The Business: Scott Simpson moved to Georgia and lived with a friend who just happened to be a pro wrestler with Georgia Championship Wrestling.. Scott Simpson got a call from Road Warrior Animal, who told him that Jim Crockett Promotions was looking for some new wrestlers.. Scott Simpson spoke spoke with Jim Crockett and he reported to Jim Crockett Promotions in early June with his head shaved.. Scott Simpson's impressive structure stood around 6'2", and weighed in at 285 pounds of cut muscle.. National Wrestling Alliance: Scott Simpson (as Nikita Koloff) was paired up with veteran heel pro wrestlers Ivan Koloff and Don Kernoodle for two years.. Nikita Koloff began receiving death threats, and at Great American Bash 1985, fans actually jumped in the ring, trying to get at him.. 1985: Nikita Koloff teamed with Ivan Koloff (as The Russians) and won the NWA World Tag Team titles on two separate occasions..
