Pacific Northwest Wrestling: Jimmy Snuka moved on to Don Owen's NWA: Pacific Northwest territory and quickly established himself as a huge fan favourite.. Jimmy Snuka formed a tag team with Dutch Savage and together they became six-time NWA Northwest Tag Team Champions.. Jimmy Snuka & Dutch Savage feuded with Jesse Ventura & Buddy Rogers over the Tag Team titles.. ~~~A singles rivalry between Jimmy Snuka and Jesse Ventura outgrew their respective tag team brawls.. Jesse Ventura reminisced over his rivalry with Jimmy Snuka at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies in 2004.. ~~~Ventura praised Snuka as a wise, selfless professional and credited Snuka's fan base which helped strengthen their rivalry..
