  • Jim Neidhart got the name “Anvil” when he won an Anvil Tossing contest at the Calgary Stampede festival. Stu Hart paid him $500.

World Wrestling Federation – Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart

  • Jim Neidhart signed with the WWF as part of the deal with Vince McMahon buying Stampede Wrestling.
  • Jim Neidhart was initially brought in as a singles wrestler, managed by Mr. Fuji.
