With much drama in the WWE universe, there are a few questions that we cannot wait for answers to:
1. How does Brock Lesnar Respond?
Last week, Bill Goldberg returned to Raw after a 12-year absence and made it official that he was interested in a future bout with the beast Brock Lesnar. Goldberg responded to a challenge that was laid down by Paul Heyman two Mondays ago.
Not surprisingly, Brock Lesnar will appear on Monday Night Raw to respond to Bill Goldberg’s comments. One can expect Paul Heyman to play the role of Brock Lesnar’s proverbial mouthpiece. Expect him to comment on Bill Goldberg’s new role as WWE ambassador and how it weakens his chances against the man who put the 1 in the 21-1 record of the Undertaker at WrestleMania.
This will surely be one of the most anticipated segments of the show.
2. Will Cesaro and Shaemus ever get along?
While the New Day continue to roll on well past day 420 of their reign as Tag Team Champions, the team of Cesaro and Sheamus continue to operate as one dysfunctional tag team with personal agendas. Last week, Cesaro took to Facebook Live to take selfies with fans at ringside and to record what he hoped was the inevitable defeat of Shaemus to Big E Langston. He would get his wish.
Cesaro and Shaemus have engaged in a game of one-upmanship even since they became a Tag Team. Their individual talents were enough for them to be #1 contenders for the Raw Tag Team Titles. Yet, they are on the fast track to a defeat at Hell In A Cell unless they find some sort of common ground.
One will have to tune in to Monday Night Raw to see if Cesaro and Shaemus will get on the same page or if the same old shenanigans will continue.
3. How will AJ Styles exact revenge on Dean Ambrose?
Fortunately, AJ Styles is still WWE World Heavyweight Champion after his encounter with the suddenly popular James Ellsworth. While James Ellsworth did not secure the pinfall victory, he won via disqualification after the referee punished Styles for being too aggressive on Ellsworth near the side turnbuckle.
After he delivered a Dirty Deeds to Styles, Dean Ambrose was only too happy to announce James Ellsworth as the winner of the match.
AJ Styles has been embarrassed in brutal fashion by Dean Ambrose two weeks in a row. Surely, AJ Styles will not allow this to happen for a third consecutive week. One will be interested to see what tricks AJ Styles will have up his sleeve.
