7/17 Raw house show results from Macon, GA: Evan Bourne over The Brian Kendrick; Maryse & Alicia Fox defeated Mickie James & Gail Kim; Primo over Carlito; Kofi Kingston over Chavo Guerrero; Jack Swagger over Santino; Big Show over MVP; and Triple H, John Cena & Mark Henry over Randy Orton & The Legacy.

7/18 Raw house show results from Aiken, SC: Evan Bourne over The Brian Kendrick; Maryse & Alicia Fox defeated Mickie James & Gail Kim; Jack Swagger over Primo; Kofi Kingston over Chavo Guerrero; Santino over Carlito; Big Show over MVP; and Triple H, John Cena & Mark Henry over Randy Orton & The Legacy.

The show drew a capacity 4000. Big Show grew up in Aiken so he got a big hometown babyface reaction. Angela Fong from FCW is ring announcer on the tour.

7/18 Smackdown house show results from North Charleston, SC: Finlay over William Regal; Eve Torres & Melina over Katie Lea & Natalya; Ricky Steamboat over Drew McIntyre; Dolph Ziggler over John Morrison; Great Khali beat Kane via DQ; Tommy Dreamer over Christian; Cryme Tyme over The Hart Dynasty; and CM over Jeff Hardy.

WWE are touring the Carolinas this weekend. The Raw crew runs today at the Civic Center in Florance; and TV is Monday from the RBC Center in Raleigh, NC with ZZ Top as guest hosts. The Smackdown/ECW crew run today at the Bi Lo Center in Greenville with Ricky Steamboat vs. Chris Jericho; and the TV tapings are Tuesday in Richmond, VA with CM Punk vs.
Jeff Hardy in a non-title match.

The Phoenix Biz Journal has a story on Wrestlemania 26 Fan Axxess at the Phoenix Convention Center, which is a short drive from University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale. The story at http://tinyurl.com/mtaov5 notes that the show is expected to generate $30 million for the local economy.

He credits Rey Mysterio as his inspiration for getting into the business.

He claims he is 441lbs and said the same Big show you see on TV is the same guy you would meet in the grocery store.

A fan tried to attack Chris Jericho today in Greenville at the house show. “Things did not turn out well for him,” Jericho wrote on his Twutter.

The annual Tribute to the Troops show is tentively scheduled for the first week in December.

Bidding for Superstar Billy Graham’s Hall of Fame ring on eBay is now at $11,950.00. Bidding went a little crazy over the weekend with one bid for $80,000 and another accidental bid for $1 million. They have now removed all the bad bidders and put a procedure in place to ensure it doesn’t happen again. There are three days left to go on the auction.

ZZ Top has a new record coming out which is likely why they got the nod for a guest host spot on Raw.

John Cena and his brither Dan are organising a car show in their hometown of West Newbury, MA at Pentucket Regional High School on 8/15.
The show is a benefit the family of a local firefighter who recently passed away. For more info you can email to carshow@westnewburysafety.org.

7/16 Impact TV results from Orlando, FL: Amazing Red over Samoa Joe via DQ; Suicide over Chris Sabin in a non-title match; Homicide over Suicide to capture the X-title; Sarita over Alyssa Flash in arguably the best women’s match shown on national TV in years; Main Event Mafia over Beer Money & AJ Styles in an Elimination match; and Kurt Angle vs. Sting was a no contest.

7/17 house show results from Johnson City, TN: Chris Sabin over Suicide & Jay Lethal in a three-way; Daffney over Rakha Khan; Matt Morgan over Kip James; Beer Money over Scott Steiner & Booker T; Taylor Wilde over Madison Rayne; and AJ Styles over Samoa Joe.

The show drew just over 200. The 7/18 show in Winston-Salem, NC had the same results drawing 1200.

Tonight is the Victory Road PPV from Universal Studios in Orlando. The line up is Kurt Angle vs. Mick Foley for the TNA title; Beer Money vs.
Booker T. & Scott Steiner for the TNA tag titles; AJ Styles vs. Kevin Nash for the Legends title; Tara vs. Angelina Love for the Knockouts title; Team 3D vs. The British Invasion for the IWGP tag titles; Sting vs. Samoa Joe; Daniels vs. Matt Morgan; Abyss vs. Stevie Richards; and Jenna vs. Sharmell.

TV tapings are Monday through Wednesday leading up to the next PPV.

Kurt Angle either tore or pulled a groin muscle shooting a movie a few days ago. He didn’t work house shows over the weekend but is planning to work tonight’s PPV.

We don’t know what this means yet but a source backstage today at the PPV told us that Madison Rayne becomes a “whore” tonight.

Taz debuts tonight as Joe’s advisor.

Christy Hemme is due to start back at the TV tapings next week. Japanese star Ayako Hamada is also coming in.

Karl Von Brauner, one half of the 1960s tag team, passed away on 7/5 at the age of 78. Greg Oliver has a nice piece looking at his wrestling career ay http://tinyurl.com/mv9vcg.

A wrestling manager known as Barry Casino passed away a few days ago. We don’t have any details. Over the years he worked for many New Jersey indy’s and was a favorite of the late promoter Dennis Coralluzzo.

Also sad to report that Memphis-based ring announcer Just Joe (not to be confused with Joe Legend) passed away a few days ago. Again, we don’t have any details at press time.

Hulk Hogan is pitching a new reality show to TV networks called The Resurrection of Hulk Hogan. He claims that this show will be a shoot with no worked storylines or contrived situations.

Missy Hyatt at http://tinyurl.com/ku7wez talks women’s wrestling from her bedroom. Seriously! She also begs Stephanie McMahon to ger her a job because he says she can get her free designer clothes.

There is a big cover story on Lucha Libre in NOW Magazine in Toronto which was pushing local shows with Blue Demon Jr. and Incognito. Story is at http://tinyurl.com/mtwz9r.

Ken Anderson (Kennedy) at http://tinyurl.com/ltb4zm wrote a blog on Paul Heyman’s website crediting Heyman for pushing him in WWE developmental and explaining his recent video blogs.

The daughter of the late Fabulous Moolah is selling Moolah’s house in Columbia, SC. The house, which is on the market for $249,000, is presently occupied by Mae Young, 86, and midget wrestler Diamond Lil.
Once the house is sold Young and Lil plan to move in with Donna Christanello, former lady wrestler, and long-time friend of Moolah.

There was a parade for Ron Simmons and other inductees into the College Football Hall of Fame on Saturday in South Bend, IN. Simmons was a two-time consensus All-American at Florida State University, and played for the Cleveland Browns and the Ottawa Rough Riders in the CFL.

Roddy Piper is currently filming the movie Opponent in Connecticut. He plays a priest. The movie is about the owner of a small-town junkyard who offers a cash reward to whomever can kill her uninvited alien guest when its spacecraft crash-lands into her barn.

Piper appears in court next week in relation to his misdemeanor DUI charge in Los Angeles on 7/2.
