It was claimed that Rey Fenix’s AEW contract extends well into next year due to the injury time that will be added to it. Fenix and Penta were expected to wrap up with AEW in the fall and head to WWE, but when AEW caught wind of it, added injury time to their deals. –
Penta could start in WWE in very early 2025, but as for Rey Fenix might not be till the end of next year. Also they dont plan on using Rey Fenix, so that makes him almost like a hostage.
