Trish Stratus Returns to Face Alexa Bliss at Evolution

WWE issued the following on Saturday, confirming earlier live reports from tonight’s NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV live special where advertisements were run announcing that WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will face Alexa Bliss at the all-Women’s Evolution PPV on October 28 live from the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York.

JUST ANNOUNCED: @AlexaBliss_WWE will go one-on-one with @trishstratuscom at on Sunday, October 28!

This will be Stratus’s first singles match on PPV since her retirement from full-time action at the Unforgiven 2006 PPV against fellow Hall of Famer Lita. Stratus has competed since her retirement on episodes of RAW and at Wrestlemania 27, including the first Women’s Royal Rumble Match this past January.
