It made for am ideal opening contest when Jay Lethal squared off with Chasyn Rance to kick off the show. With Dave Prazak distracting the referee from ringside, Mr. Milo Beasley jumped out of his wheel-chair and assisted Jay Lethal in picking up the tainted victory ( 7 / 10 ). This was a great way to start this very important event.
The NEW FIP Tag Team Champions, the Heartbreak Express, came out for some mic-time and they set up a #1 Contenders Gauntlet match with the winners getting a shot at the FIP Tag Team titles later on the card! They justified this by saying any challenger will have to earn their title shot with hard work just like they did!

The first match of the Gauntlet saw Sal Rinauro and Seth Delay defeat the makeshift team of Bruce Steel and LaDuke Jakes ( 4 / 10 ). Next up Jerrelle Clark and Jay Fury defeated Sal Rinauro and Seth Delay ( 7 / 10 ). Jerrelle Clark and Jay Fury got some momentum with a victory over Steve Madison and Erick Stevens ( 6 / 10 ). This was followed by Evan Starsmore and Jaison Moore beating Jerrelle Clark and Jay Fury in the finals to become #1 Contenders to the FIP Tag Team titles ( 6.5 / 10 ). The Heartbreak Express distracted the referee while Steve Madison and Erick Stevens destroyed Fury and Clark. Basically Sean and Phil Davis manipulated the situation to make a couple of jobbers the #1 Contender, so that their title defense would be easier.
Azriael sought to get some revenge on DP Associates by issuing an open challenge to any member. Dave Prazak instead sent out a "hired gun" in the form of UK super star Nigel McGuinness to wrestle the thorn in his side. Azriael scored a miraculous upset victory over his bigger, tougher and more experienced opponent ( 7 / 10 ). It's only a matter of time before Nigel McGuinness is a WWE Super Star.
The feud between Antonio Banks and Rainman has heated up quickly in FIP and they battled in a big time No-DQ Anything Goes match. The match was surprisingly long and was even more surprisingly good, considering most of the match featured lots of kicking and punching. Rainman won the war after suffocating Antonio Banks with a plastic bag and smashing him over the head twice with two brutal chair-shots ( 8 / 10 ). Ever since I saw Antonio Banks debut in the WWE as "Montel Vontavious Porter" I have not been able to look at Banks in the same manner. It's crazy to me that he is so good in his Banks character, yet so bad as The MVP on SmackDown!..
Kahagas defeated Benny Blanco -- I could have done without this match ( 2 / 10 ).
The FIP tag team championships were on the line as the Heartbreak Express defended against the underdog team of Evan Starsmore and Jaison Moore -- or as I like to call them, the "Popcorn Stand Crew." It would be a major understatement if I said the Davis boys took their challengers a bit lightly. They obviously felt the young upstarts would be pushovers, but Starsmore and Moore made the best of it and gave the Express a run for their money for at least a few brief moments before losing the match.
Two of Full Impact Pro's most dependable stars faced off in an epic 2/3 Falls match that lasted roughly 30:00. It was Tony Mamaluke vs Roderick Strong pushing the envelope with a beautifully constructed match. Both of these men have become two of FIP's iron man, often competing in the best and longest matches on the cards, and this contest was no different. It just goes to show that there doesn't have to be a storyline, a feud, or heat between two good wrestlers to produce an entertainment match. I hope FIP contunues to put at least one of these kinds of matches on every card ( 8.5 / 10 ).
Homicide marked his twelth month as FIP Heavyweight Champion with a spirited victory over DP Associate Jimmy Rave. It was perhaps Homicide's toughest challenge to date, and one was left wondering just how long Homicide would be able to hang onto the belt. With even more potential challengers coming into FIP it is becoming harder and harder to stay on top ( 8 / 10 ). After the match, ring announcer Lenny Leonard interviewed Homicide about all his past challengers when Jay Lethal hit the ring. Homicide got rid of Lethal and then Mr. Milo Beasley jumped out of his wheel chair and Homicide gave him a Cop-killa! Then out of nowhere, Rainman attacked Homicide and declared that he wanted a title shot! It was really funny when Homicide was getting up the ring filled up with kids and 'Cide sort of broke character and started smiling.
Final Thoughts: Night two was a vast improvement from night one and was worthy of this very momentous occasion.
