The Miami Herald recently spoke with Cesaro about his rise in the WWE

It took more than a decade before Cesaro made it to WWE after honing his skills competing for promotions around the world.

Those experiences helped prepare the Swiss superstar when opportunity knocked to work for the sports entertainment juggernaut. It has also kept him humble and driven, remembering where he came from.

Today the “King of Swing” is one of the most promising emerging talents on the WWE roster. He has turned heads with stellar matches against the likes of John Cena and Randy Orton. The former United States champion even took home the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy during WrestleMania XXX at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
