Regarding Justin Roberts’ WWE departure, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter says that a source close to the situation said that Roberts was willing to continue working for the company based on his old deal while they worked on coming to terms on a new deal.
However, obviously, WWE did not want to go that route.
Editor’s note: I am still shocked by this news of his departure. Hard to believe both sides couldn’t work something out.
