A video kicks off the show highlighting all the matches we’ll be seeing on tonight’s SummerSlam, the 34th the company has presented.
We go live into Allegiant Stadium. There are a reported 50,000 people in attendance.
While RK-Bro makes their entrance, the footage is shown of their reuniting on this past Monday’s WWE Raw show.
Raw Tag Team Championship
RK-Bro (Riddle and Randy Orton) vs. AJ Styles and Omos (c’s)
The bell rings, and it’s Randy Orton taking on AJ Styles. Orton unloads on him with some punches before connecting with a textbook vertical suplex. Omos shouts from the ring apron. Orton stomps on Styles’ hand and rakes his face with his boot. Riddle tags in. Orton hits Styles with a snapmare before giving Riddle an assist on a twisting senton for a one count. Styles angrily rolls out of the ring and punches the commentary table.
Styles gets in the ring and tags Omos in. Omos slowly gets in the ring and takes Riddle down. Omos pulls Riddle up to his feet and clubs the back. Omos picks him up from the ground and holds him up for a few moments before slamming him down. Riddle writhes in pain on the mat. Omos locks hands with Riddle and twists the arm. Omos lifts Riddle up by one arm, but Riddle turns around and applies a sleeper hold. Omos angrily throws him off before avalanching him in the corner. Styles tags back in. Styles gets on the second rope and tries to dive over Omos, but he gets hung up on him. Styles then hits Riddle with a tornado DDT for a two count. Styles applies a chin lock, but Riddle fights up. Riddle hits the ropes, but Styles connects with a backbreaker. Styles shouts at Orton, “You’re next!” Styles puts the chin lock back on Riddle and talks a little trash to Orton. Riddle fights up, so Styles puts him on his shoulders. Riddle slides off and viciously knees Omos in the face. Styles charges Riddle, but Riddle hits a back body drop out of the ring. Riddle crawls over to the corner, but Styles cuts him off. Riddle then connects with a big kick and tags Orton in.
Orton hits a pair of clotheslines on Styles before striking Omos. Orton hits a sloppy back body drop on Styles before hitting Omos again. Orton knocks Styles back and hits a snap powerslam. Omos goes for a kick from the apron, but Orton blocks it and kicks him off the apron. Orton slings Styles to the apron and hits a draping DDT on the former WWE Champion. Orton gets fired up and drops down to the mat. Omos reaches in and pulls Styles out of the ring. Riddle tries to attack Omos, but Omos simply gives him a chokeslam on the apron. Styles hits Orton with a guillotine on the top rope. Omos puts Riddle on his shoulder, but Riddle slides off and sends him into the ring post! Styles then hits a moonsault off the apron into a reverse DDT on the floor! Riddle looks wiped out.
Styles goes for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Orton avoids it. Styles gets out of an RKO, but Orton comes back with an RKO for the win!

Replays are shown of Doudrop being spooked by Lilly before being slapped silly by Eva Marie on this past Monday’s Raw.
Eva Marie w/ Doudrop vs. Alexa Bliss
The bell rings, and Bliss charges her, but Eva moves. Eva gets out of the ring to compose herself. Eva gets in the ring, and Bliss applies a waistlock. Bliss turns it around and hits a back elbow. Bliss connects with a drop-toe-hold. Lilly is propped up in the corner. Eva hangs on the ropes to keep Bliss back. The crowd is chanting something, but the crowd mics are turned down. Eva knees Bliss and takes her down. Eva goes to the corner and grabs Lilly before slapping the doll a few times. Bliss looks on sadly. Eva laughs at her before hitting Bliss with Lilly. Bliss screams and shoulder blocks her a few times before hitting a somersault senton for a near fall. Bliss retrieves Lilly and holds her up in the corner. Bliss drops Eva into the corner and poses to a big pop, but no one in the crowd is moving. Eva avoids Twisted Bliss and covers for a near fall. Eva covers again for another two count. Bliss fights back and hits a DDT for the win.

Doudrop gets on the microphone and says the loser is Eva Marie. Doudrop puts Eva Marie’s robe on and walks off. Eva Marie is furious.
Mario Lopez is backstage with the new Raw Tag Team Champions RK-Bro. Lopez asks how they’re feeling. Randy Orton says he said RK-Bro was back on Monday and it’s true. It’ll be smooth sailing from here on out with the three most destructive letters in sports entertainment: R-K-… Bro? Orton walks off. Riddle says that’s Viper code for “Riddle is his new best friend.” Riddle has a surprise for Orton on Monday Night Raw. Riddle fist bumps Lopez and walks away.
WWE United States Championship
Damian Priest vs. Sheamus (c)
They tussle in a lock-up to start the match. Sheamus gets Priest grounded and applies a hammerlock. Sheamus takes Priest down and hits the ropes, but Priest takes him down with a wheel kick. Sheamus quickly punches him in the midsection and clubs the back. Priest hits a back elbow in the corner and a falcon arrow. Priest puts Sheamus on the apron. Sheamus shoulders him, but Priest punches him to the floor. Priest hits a really rough-looking somersault senton and lands badly on the floor. Sheamus is put in the ring and knocks Priest back to the floor. Priest is holding his back at ringside. Priest strikes away at Sheamus. Sheamus blocks a spin kick and slams Priest into the ring post.
Sheamus gets Priest in the ring and works on the back. Sheamus hits a back suplex and continues to strike him. Priest fights back, but Sheamus hits an Irish Curse Backbreaker before flexing his muscles. Sheamus knees Priest in the back and applies a chin lock. Priest fights up, but Sheamus kicks him and tries for a powerbomb. Priest counters with a hurricanrana and nearly spikes himself on his head. Sheamus quickly comes back with a powerslam for a near fall. Sheamus primps his hair and locks on the Dublin Smile. Priest elbows him away, but Sheamus quickly clubs the back and starts the 10 Beats of the Bodhran. Sheamus stops when the crowd starts clapping and wags a finger at them to big heat. Sheamus shouts that they’re not worthy of the United States Championship. Sheamus sends Priest into the ropes, but Priest drops him with a tornado DDT. Priest punches away at Sheamus and rocks him with a clothesline that makes him stumble into the ropes. Priest then connects with a clothesline that takes him down. Sheamus quickly drops him on the apron, so Priest claps the ears and kicks him in the head. Priest goes to the top rope and hits a spin kick for a near fall. Priest continues to take it to Sheamus, but Sheamus snaps him off the top rope. Sheamus connects with an Alabama Slam for a near fall.
Sheamus gets fired up and head-butts Priest with his steel face mask. Sheamus sizes him up for a Brogue Kick, but Priest kicks him in the face. Priest connects with South of Heaven for a near fall. Priest sets Sheamus up for a powerbomb, but Sheamus drops down. Priest clubs away at him and goes for a springboard, but Sheamus connects with a knee to the face out of midair. Sheamus covers, but Priest kicks out. Sheamus tries for the Irish Cloverleaf, but Priest cradles him for a near fall. Sheamus takes him down and applies a heel hook. Priest sits up and rips Sheamus’ mask off. Sheamus looks stunned and covers up his face.
Priest drops him on the top turnbuckle and hits a spin kick. Priest connects with the Reckoning for the win.

Rey and Dominik Mysterio vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) (c’s)
Rey Msyterio starts against Jimmy Uso. Rey quickly hits a head-scissor into the ropes and goes for a 619, but Jimmy gets out of the ring. Rey hits a baseball slide. Jey Uso runs in, and Dominik sends him out of the ring. Dominik tags in. Rey hits a slide out of the ring into a splash. Dominik then hits a springboard cross-body to the floor. Dominik hits a springboard cross-body block on Jimmy in the ring for a near fall. Dominik starts up the Three Amigos in honor of his storyline biological father, Eddie Guerrero.
Dominik goes to the top rope, but Jey shoves him off to the floor. Jey tagged in at some point. Jey grabs Dominik and sends him hard into the ring post. Jey talks some trash to Dominik and applies a chin lock. Dominik fights up, but Jey shoves him down before he can tag his father, Rey, in. Jimmy tags back in. Jey hits a backbreaker, and Jimmy comes off the top rope with a double elbow to the chest. Jimmy hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Dominik fights back at The Usos, but Jey uppercuts him down. Jey connects with a suplex and taunts the crowd. Jey takes his time and hits another suplex. Jey taunts the crowd once again and sets up for a third suplex. Dominik counters into a neckbreaker.
Rey and Jimmy tag in. Rey hits a clothesline and a back elbow. Jimmy reverses a whip to the corner, but Rey avoids an avalanche. Rey hits a springboard moonsault, but Jimmy catches him. Rey counters into a tornado DDT for a near fall. Rey hits a seated senton and takes Jey out. Jimmy quickly superkicks Rey down for a near fall. Jey tags in, and The Usos size Rey up. Rey hits Jimmy with a head-scissor out of the ring. Jey quickly hits Rey with a superkick followed by a top rope splash for a near fall!
Jimmy tags in. Jey and Dominik fight on the apron. Jey hits Dominik with a front suplex on the apron. Rey hits Jimmy with a head-scissor into the ropes followed by a 619! Rey kicks Jey in the head and goes to the top rope for a Frog Splash, but Jimmy gets the knees up. Jimmy superkicks Rey and tags Jey in. The Usos hit a Superkick Sandwich on Rey. Jey hits a top rope splash for the win.

Tiffany Haddish is backstage with new United States Champion Damian Priest. Priest says he feels amazing. It’s SummerSlam. Priest doesn’t like bullies, so it was sweet to take the title from a bully like Sheamus. This isn’t an Olympic Gold Medal, but for a guy from New York City, it’s pretty close. This is the land of opportunity.
Rick Boogs is in the ring playing a guitar riff. Boogs greets the crowd. This musical interlude is so we can all rock with the one true King of WWE and the brand new Intercontinental Champion, King Nakamura. Nakamura dances his way to the ring. Nakamura and Boogs rock out with Pat McAfee.

Greg Hamilton says that Sasha Banks is not here this evening. Bianca Belair will now defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Carmella. Wow…
Bianca Belair says Sasha Banks isn’t happening tonight, but sooner or later they’ll be in the ring and she’ll wipe the floor with her dusty self.
Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring to a huge ovation! Lynch looks like she’s dressed to compete. A “Becky” chant fires up as she stands in the ring.
Lynch attacks Carmella and sends her out of the ring. Lynch says to Belair that she’ll be back. Lynch goes outside and sends Carmella into the ring steps.
Lynch gets in the ring and stares at Belair. The crowd is absolutely buzzing. Lynch looks around Allegiant Stadium and asks for a microphone. Lynch says maybe it’s time the EST and The Man blow the roof off this joint for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Belair agrees!

The bell rings, and Lynch punches her in the face. Lynch connects with a Manhandle Slam for the win!

Olympic Gold Medalist Tamyra Mensah-Stock makes her way to the ring. Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson leads behind her. They appear to have signed with WWE.
Jinder Mahal makes his way to the ring. Veer and Shanky come out with him, but then they go to the back. Drew McIntyre beat Veer and Shanky this past Monday on Raw to ban them from ringside.
Jinder Mahal vs. Drew McIntyre
The bell rings, and McIntyre slams him into the corner and takes him down. McIntyre sets up for the Claymore Kick, but Mahal rolls out of the ring. McIntyre catches him outside the ring with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. McIntyre puts him in the ring, but Mahal kicks him in the head. Mahal takes him down and covers for a two count. Mahal chokes him on the ropes and drops a knee on the chest. Mahal applies a chin lock, but McIntyre fights up. McIntyre hits a pair of overhead belly-to-belly suplexes. McIntyre connects with a third one that sends Mahal totally across the ring. McIntyre waits for him to get up and hits a fourth one! McIntyre connects with a Future Shock DDT before kipping up. McIntyre counts down and hits a Claymore Kick for the win.

Veer and Shanky run down to check on their fallen leader. McIntyre grabs the Claymore Sword, basically waits for them to exit the ring, and then swings. McIntyre motions that he was “this close” to murdering Veer and Shanky.

Nikki A.S.H. (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair shoves Nikki down. Nikki fights back with a monkey flip and takes Ripley down. Flair easily shoves Nikki out of the ring. Ripley shoulders Flair in the corner and bounces her off the corner. Ripley sends Flair to the corner. Flair rolls up the turnbuckle and lands on the apron. Nikki runs in, kicks Flair off the apron, and hits a headlock takeover on Ripley. Nikki rolls her up, but Flair runs in and shoves her into Ripley. Flair takes Ripley down and hits Nikki with an exploder suplex. Flair attacks Nikki and scoop slams her onto Ripley. Flair goes for a moonsault, but Ripley gets the boot up. Nikki counters a Riptide and takes Flair down with a head-scissor. Ripley avoids a big boot from Flair, but Flair comes right back with a big boot for a near fall. Nikki was knocked out of the ring.
Flair and Ripley go at it for a bit in the ring. Flair eventually big boots her off the apron. Nikki goes for a monkey flip on Flair, but Flair holds her up. Nikki hits a tornado DDT for a near fall. Nikki hits a baseball slide on Ripley. Nikki forearms Flair back, but Flair lifts her up. Flair hits a fallaway slam as Ripley hits Flair with a German Suplex. Ripley hits Flair with a missile dropkick for a near fall. Flair and Ripley brawl to ringside and wait FOREVER for Nikki to set up and hit a cross-body block to the floor.
Nikki gets Flair in the ring and goes for a suplex. Ripley joins in for a double-team suplex, but Flair counters into a double DDT. Flair goes after them, but they fight back. Flair knocks Nikki out of the ring and hits Ripley with a back body drop to the floor. Flair goes to the top rope and hits a twisting moonsault to the floor. Nikki took the full brunt of Flair’s shin to the forehead.
Ripley gets in the ring. Nikki gets in and rolls her up for a near fall. Ripley applies a Prism Shift to Nikki, but lets go when Flair gets in. Flair misses a big boot, and Ripley applies another Prism Shift. Flair gets out and takes Ripley down. Flair applies a Figure Eight, but Nikki hits a splash to break it up. Nikki hits Flair with a twisting neckbreaker, but Ripley breaks up the pin. Ripley goes for the Riptide, but Nikki counters into a DDT. The momentum sends Ripley out of the ring. Nikki goes to the top rope and waits for Flair to get up. Flair sidesteps Nikki’s cross-body block and applies the Figure Eight for the submission.

Charlotte Flair is now a 12-time champion.

The bell rings, and they listen to the reaction for a little while. They lock up, and Edge quickly punches him down. They circle the ring and lock up. Edge applies a side headlock. Rollins fights out, but Edge simply clotheslines him out of the ring. Rollins angrily gets in the ring and fights back at him. Rollins sets up for a Pedigree, but Edge connects with a back body drop to the floor. Edge goes outside and bounces Rollins off the commentary table. Edge sends him into the ring apron and barricades before chasing him into the ring. Edge sidesteps him and sends him out of the ring. Rollins quickly pushes Edge into the ring post, and Edge appears to be stunned. Rollins puts him against the steel steps and slams his head against the ring steps a few times. Rollins gets Edge in the ring and hits a neckbreaker for a two count.
Rollins kicks Edge down and stands tall. Edge is down on the canvas looking stunned. Rollins hits the ropes and hits a Sling Blade. Rollins goes to the corner for a Stomp, but Edge crawls to the corner. Rollins attacks him and talks some trash about his neck. Edge tries to fight back, but Rollins knees him. Edge reverses a whip to the corner, but Rollins boots him back. Rollins hits a springboard knee for a near fall. Rollins sets up for a neckbreaker, but Edge counters into a backslide for a two count. Edge takes him down with a flapjack and shoulders him in the corner. Rollins fights back and hits a frog splash for a near fall.
Rollins puts Edge on the top rope and sets up for a superplex to the floor. Edge fights it and hits a super neckbreaker to the mat. Edge gets up and hits a flapjack into the top rope. Edge takes him down and hits an Impaler DDT for a near fall. Edge approaches Rollins, but Rollins hits an STO into the turnbuckle. Edge fights back with an Edge-O-Matic for a near fall. Edge goes to the top rope, but Rollins scales the ropes and hits a superplex into a falcon arrow for a near fall! Rollins sets up for a Stomp, but Edge avoids it. Rollins goes for a Pedigree, but Edge counters into a Glam Slam for a near fall.
Edge slowly comes to, and Rollins goes to the apron. Edge grabs him, but Rollins snaps him off the top rope. Rollins then hits a neckbreaker off the ropes. Rollins goes for a Stomp on the apron, but Edge avoids it and sends him to the ring post. Edge then hits a picture-perfect SPEAR off the apron to the floor! Wow!
Edge puts Rollins in a headlock and drives his skull into the LED apron. The LED apron shorts out. Edge gets him in the ring and picks up a two count. Edge goes for a Spear, but Rollins counters into a Pedigree for a near fall. Rollins goes to the top rope and tries for a Phoenix Splash, but Edge avoids it and Spears him down for a near fall! Edge is stunned. Edge takes a few moments and sets up for a move, but Rollins forearms him in the back of the head. Rollins then clubs him in the back of the neck. Rollins superkicks him in the neck, and Edge looks feeble now. Rollins goes for a Stomp, but Edge catches the foot. Edge applies the Edgecator, but Rollins counters into a roll-up for a near fall. Edge applies the crossface before slamming Rollins’ face off the mat. Edge then applies a Crossface Sleeper Hold for the submission.

Mike Rome announces tonight’s attendance at Allegiant Stadium: 51,326.
Money in the Bank 2022 will take place at Allegiant Stadium during July 4 weekend.
The Miz and John Morrison are in the ring. Miz says this is the Biggest Party of the Summer, but also the driest. John Morrison says he is going to moisten it up. Miz says they’ve worked with inventors to make the Drip Stick 2000. Xavier Woods comes in with the Drip Stick 2000 on his back. It’s sponsored by Pure Life. Morrison says the crowd needs to be moistened up, but Woods says they’re getting wet instead. Miz demands to have it back. Woods has his hair like Razor Ramon. Woods sprays Miz and Morrison to absolutely no reaction. Woods tries to get the crowd going, but they’re not into it.

Bobby Lashley (c) w/ MVP vs. Goldberg
They lock up and tussle for position. Goldberg gets him in the corner and gives a clean break. Lashley shoves him and hits the ropes, but Goldberg shoulder blocks him. Goldberg hits a battering ram shoulder followed by a powerslam. Goldberg gets fired up and gets him in the corner. Goldberg attacks him and gets going, but the crowd boos. Lashley clubs him down to cheers. Lashley sets up for a Jackhammer, but Goldberg blocks it. Goldberg goes for a Jackhammer, but Lashley counters into an STO. Lashley forearms him in the head a few times and goes to the top rope. Goldberg grabs him and tosses him off the top rope. Lashley almost didn’t rotate all the way but saved his neck. Goldberg sets up for a Spear, but MVP pulls Lashley out of the ring. Goldberg Spears Lashley on the floor!
Goldberg gets Lashley in the ring, but Lashley quickly gets out. MVP hits Goldberg in the knee with the cane. Lashley turns Goldberg inside out with a chop block. Lashley hits Goldberg with a one-armed spinebuster. Lashley tries for the Hurt Lock, but Goldberg elbows out. Lashley chop blocks him, and Goldberg lands on his head trying to flip. Goldberg rolls out of the ring in pain. Lashley picks Goldberg up at ringside and drives him into the ring post. Lashley picks him up again and drives the knee into the ring post. Lashley gets Goldberg in the ring. Goldberg tries to stand, but he collapses. The referee calls for the bell. Goldberg cannot continue.
Winner by Referee Stoppage and still WWE Champion: Bobby Lashley
Byron Saxton says it’s a shame Bobby Lashley had to win in this fashion… Lashley then attacks the knee with the steel chair. Gage Goldberg jumps on Lashley to save his father, but Lashley puts him into the Hurt Lock.
MVP says there’s no way Lashley could tell that was Goldberg’s son. MVP then gets out of the ring. Goldberg checks on his son and says he’ll kill Lashley.

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns comes out with Paul Heyman and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos. Reigns looks at them, and Heyman has them sent to the back.

John Cena vs. Roman Reigns (c) w/ Paul Heyman
They take a few moments to listen to the reaction. They lock up, and Cena applies a side headlock. Reigns whips him off and shoulder blocks him down. Cena quickly gets to his feet. Cena school boys Reigns for a two count. Cena taunts him and reminds him that he just needs to have him down for 1-2-3. Cena grabs the hand and rolls him up again for a two count. Cena continues to taunt Reigns. Reigns kicks Cena in the midsection and punches him down. Reigns taunts the crowd before dropping Cena with a straight right hand. Cena ducks a punch and rolls him up for a near fall. Reigns immediately gets up and clotheslines him down. Reigns continues to taunt the fired-up crowd. Reigns takes Cena down. Cena is having trouble getting up. Reigns hits a vertical suplex and covers for a two count. Cena tries to power up, but Reigns kicks him down. Reigns says Vegas is here for him. Reigns hits another snap suplex for a two count. Reigns dumps Cena out of the ring and gets in the referee’s face.
Reigns casually goes outside, absorbs some shots from Cena, and sends Cena headfirst into the ring steps. Reigns taunts the crowd once again. Reigns bounces Cena off the steps. The referee is giving this a lot of leeways. No counting. Reigns takes the WWE Universal Championship and holds it up. Cena gets in the ring. Reigns goes inside, and Cena catches him with an inside cradle for a two count. Reigns floors Cena with a running elbow. Reigns taunts Cena, so Cena lifts him up for an Attitude Adjustment. Reigns slides off and hits a DDT for a near fall. Reigns continues to taunt him, so Cena gets fired up for a comeback. Cena goes for a leaping shoulder tackle, but Reigns uppercuts him out of midair.
Reigns says this is too easy and might as well be in Denver right now. Cena school boys him once again for a near fall. Reigns applies a sleeper hold. Cena tries to fight up, so Reigns jumps on his back. Cena starts to fade before getting up with Reigns on his back. Cena backs him hard into the corner before collapsing. Cena then floors Reigns with a desperation clothesline.
They get to their feet. Cena hits a pair of shoulder tackles followed by a back suplex powerbomb. Cena gets fired up and tells Reigns, “You can’t see me.” Reigns then puts Cena in the guillotine! Cena counters into a jackknife cover for a near fall. Reigns floors him with a Superman Punch. Reigns goes for a Spear, but Cena kicks him in the face. Cena then hits the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Cena sizes Reigns up and hits the AA for a near fall. Cena quickly transitions to the STF, but Reigns screams in pain and grabs the bottom rope to break the hold. Cena goes to ringside, and Reigns hits him with a Drive-By Dropkick.
Reigns gets in the ring and waits for Cena to get up. Reigns gets out on the opposite side of the ring. Reigns charges, but Cena lifts him up and hits an AA through the commentary table! Cena quickly gets Reigns in the ring and covers for a near fall! Cena goes to the top rope for a diving leg drop, but Reigns counters into a powerbomb for a near fall. Reigns goes for a Superman Punch, but Cena counters into a school boy for a two count. Reigns gets out of an AA and hits a Superman Punch for a near fall. Reigns takes a few moments to gather himself and goes for a Spear, but Cena sidesteps him. Reigns hits the ring post shoulder-first. Cena quickly grabs Reigns and drags him to the top rope. Cena goes for a Super AA and connects! Cena covers, but Reigns kicks out!
Both men are down. The crowd chants, “This is awesome.” Cena says his time is now. They trade punches before Reigns drops him with two Superman Punches. Reigns shouts that he is WWE. Reigns splits Cena in half with a Spear for the win.

BROCK LESNAR’S MUSIC HITS! Brock Lesnar comes out to a huge ovation. Lesnar has a ponytail and a beard. Paul Heyman cowers in the corner with the WWE Universal Championship.
Lesnar gets in the ring. The crowd is completely buzzing. Lesnar gets in Reigns’ face. Reigns leaves the ring with Paul Heyman and backs up the ramp. Lesnar stands tall in the ring as the show comes to an end.
