The Grayson Waller Effect with special guests “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins
Austin Theory is in the ring. Theory says he tried vegemite for the first time and hated it. Theory then tried authentic Australian food at Outback Steakhouse. Theory then introduces Grayson Waller.
Grayson Waller, a native of Australia, comes out to a big ovation. Waller does a shoey with UFC fighter Tai Tuivasa. This involves pouring a drink into a shoe and drinking out of the shoe. Waller says this is the greatest day of his life and leads the crowd in an Australian chant. Waller then introduces his first guest, World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins.
World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins comes out to a big ovation. The crowd loudly sings his song. Rollins has been champion for 272 days and counting. Rollins stands in the ring and listens to the crowd sing. Waller’s next guest is a man who should thank the American education system for his inability to finish a story, “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.
“Wrestling has more than one royal family.”
“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes comes out to a big ovation. The crowd loudly sings Rhodes’ song as well. Rhodes gets an elaborate pyrotechnics and fireworks display. This is definitely a superstar entrance. The crowd chants for Cody. Rhodes grabs a microphone and says, “So, Perth, whattaya wanna talk about?” Waller says this is his show. What he wants to talk about is taking a moment in Australia to acknowledge “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns. The crowd holds up some ones.
Waller asks Rollins who he wants to fight coming out of the Elimination Chamber match. Rollins says the match is stacked, but he has some inside information. Rollins has a secret. Rollins says he is just days away from being medically cleared to compete. Whoever wins that Chamber match coming up to take a crack at his World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania doesn’t stand a chance. It’s WrestleMania 40, the biggest WrestleMania of all time. The world will sing his song. Perth loudly sings Rollins’ song. Rollins will do what only he can: put on a show like nobody on this planet. Rollins is a visionary and a revolutionary. He is Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Rollins says that was a big pop.
Waller sarcastically says that was a big story. Waller says we had a huge main event in The Rock vs. Roman Reigns taken away from us. Waller asks Rhodes about taking it away from the fans. A loud “Rocky sucks” chant picks up. Rhodes says he’s a fan of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Rhodes mentions some of Rock’s catchphrases. Waller interjects that he calls Rhodes fans “Cody Crybabies.” Rhodes asks if there are any Cody Crybabies here tonight. The crowd roars. Rhodes wants to explain why he stepped out of the WrestleMania Main Event only to step back in. Waller says when you’re talking about the People’s Champion, he should do what he’s told. Rhodes says you can’t appoint yourself as the People’s Champion. To be the People’s Champion, you have to be around the people. Maybe The Rock was at one point.
Rhodes says Rollins had an announcement, but he has one himself. The Rock slapped Rhodes in the face a few weeks back. Rhodes is wide open until WrestleMania. Rhodes wants to wrestle The Rock one-on-one, anytime and anyplace. The crowd cheers. Rollins gets up and puts a hand on Rhodes’ shoulder. Rollins says it’s time to cut the head off the snake once and for all. Rollins admires the challenge to The Rock, but when it comes to The Bloodline, there is no such thing as “one-on-one.” If and when The Rock decides to take Rhodes up on that challenge, Rhodes won’t be fighting that battle on his own.
Waller puts over the big news, but Theory takes the microphone. Theory asks Rhodes if he really thinks he’s going to face The Rock… only it doesn’t matter what he thinks! Theory then says, “Finally, Austin Theory has come to Perth, Australia to finish his story!” Rollins cackles and asks Theory to give one more big one. Theory then starts to say, “If you smellllll…” but Rollins sends him into a Grayson Waller Effect sign. Rhodes then drops Theory with a Cody Cutter. Waller stands back and watches as Rollins hits Theory with a Stomp. Rhodes and Rollins shake hands in the ring.
