DARK MATCH: ..
NON (WWE INTERCONTINENTAL) TITLE GRUDGE MATCH
Alberto Del Rio w/Ricardo Rodriguez defeated Kofi Kingston: Ricardo Rodriguez did an elaborate ring introduction for the 2011 Royal Rumble Winner and WrestleMania 27 headliner, Alberto Del Rio! Alberto did his “my name is Alberto Del Rio, but you already know that!” shtick adding that six SmackDown! wrestlers would be competing in an Elimination Chamber tonight for a chance to lose to him at WrestleMania! Kofi interrupted with his entrance before Alberto could get carried away. The match was great, with Kofi getting a lot of the offense and coming close to victory on numerous occassions. Announcer Booker T was cheering for Kofi throughout the match. The finish saw Ricardo distract the referee, allowing Alberto to make a comeback and force Kofi to tap out with the dreaded Arm-bar submission!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Randy Orton was pacing back and forth preparing for the RAW elimination chamber match..
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Todd Grisham & World Heavyweight champion Edge + Drew McIntyre: Todd talked about Alberto Del Rio facing whoever walks out of the SmackDown! elimination chamber with the World Heavyweight title. Edge said no champion has walked in and walked out of the champer with his championship. Drew McIntyre walked in and sarcastically clapped for Edge. Drew said Edge doesn’t even care than he was the sole reason Kelly Kelly was fired. Drew said Edge took something important away from him so tonight he will take Edge’s most prized possession for revenge. Edge said one thing the title has in common with Drew, is that it will never been seen with him!
VIDEO PACKAGE: Rules of the Elimination Chamber…
SD! ELIMINATION CHAMBER FOR THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE
Edge defeated Rey Mysterio and Kane and the Big Show and Drew McIntyre and Wade Barrett to retain the World Heavyweight title: Edge and Rey Mysterio started the match while Kane, Drew McIntyre, Wade Barrett, and the Big Show entered their individual pods. The Big Show was the replacement for Dolph Ziggler, who was fired by G.M. Theodore Long a few days ago on SmackDown!. After 5 minutes, the first pod randomly opened and Wade Barrett entered the chamber. When the period ended, another pod randomly opened and Kane entered the chamber. When the period ended, another pod randomly opened and Drew McIntyre entered the chamber. He had been taunting everybody from inside the pod for the entire match. Barrett & McIntyre began working together against everyone, but McIntyre quickly turned on Barrett and launched him back-first through one of the protective “glass” pod. McIntyre then went after Edge, trying to make good on his promise from earlier. Kane suddenly snapped and went crazy on everyone, launching Rey Mysterio head-first into a pod. Rey had taken an extreme beating so far. The final period ended and the Big Show entered the chamber. No eliminations so far, so all six men were fighting it out. The Big Show knocked Wade Barrett through another “glass” pod and rammed him into the chain link chamber wall. Barrett was pinned and eliminated by the Big Show. Rey climbed on top of a pod in the background. Kane hit Big Show with a clothesline off the top rope. Edge hit a move on Big Show, who kicked out. Drew hit Big Show with a Future Shock DDT, but he kicked out again. Finally, Rey hit a seated senton off the top of the pod on Big Show, who once again kicked out! Rey hit a 619 on Big Show, then Edge speared him. Kane set up for a choke-slam (which took forever) and connected with the move to finally eliminate the Big Show! Kane caught Drew coming off the top rope and choke-slammed him for another elimination! Rey & Edge fought Kane for several minutes. Kane was eliminated by Edge! Kane cheap-shotted Edge and choke-slammed both Rey & Edge before leaving the chamber. They fought for several minutes. Micheal Cole pointed out that both men started the match, so they have been in there the longest. After a long battle lasting 10:00, Edge speared Rey and got the 1-2-3 to become the first champion to ever retain his title in an Elimination Chamber! After the match, Alberto Del Rio attacked Edge and pounded him. Alberto put Edge in the Arm-bar and attempted to break his arm! A couple referee’s tried to break it up, but were unsuccessful until Christian ran down in street clothes to make the save! Christian took the fight to Alberto (who was responsible for injurying him many months ago). Christian had to be pulled off of Alberto by some referees. Christian broke loose and planted Alberto with the Unprettier! Christian left on his own power, leaving Edge with the opportunity to spear Alberto! It was weird because they were showing a replay of Alberto attacking Edge and they missed Edge’s spear, but they cut back live right after the move happened and the announcers froze in silence. Then they showed replays of all the stuff that happened and the announcers could finally talk about the revenge spear.

General Manager Theodore Long + Kelly Kelly + Trish Status: Vickie Guerrero showed up doing her “EXCUSE ME” thing but she said it in a depressed voice as she walked to the ring. If they really wanted to tell the WWE what they think they should just be silent. Vickie said she was there to assure everyone that Dolph is so SORRY and asked the fans to convince Teddy Long to give Dolph a second chance. Vickie said she deserves some compassion, and asked the fans to Twitter, Facebook, and call Teddy to let him know Dolph needs to be rehired. Vickie said they deserve a second chance… “I’m begging you!” Teddy Long came out and told Vickie to stop embarrassing herself. Vickie said Teddy looks so amazing, and it’s so good to see him out of the hospital. Vickie begged Teddy to rehire Dolph back on SmackDown!. Long said he was in a hiring mood. Vickie said Dolph will be so excited, and can’t wait to tell Dolph. Teddy said he didn’t hire back Dolph, but hired someone else back and is allowing them all the free time to personally thank Vickie for all her time as acting General Manager. Kelly Kelly came out and chased Vickie around the ring. Vickie slipped back in the ring but Kelly caught up to her. Vickie offered to shake hands, but Kelly kicked her in the gut and rubbed her face into the mat. LayCool suddenly showed up and pulled Kelly off of her and started pounding on Kelly. LayCool rammed Kelly into the safety barried and taunted her until Trish Stratus ran down in high heels to make the save! LayCool took off but when Trish turned her back they ran back and attacked her. Trish made a comeback, and took Michelle down with a Chick-kick before flipping Layla off the top rope (botched it, and the crowd booed). Trish hit a double Stratusfaction on LayCool to end the segment and celebrated with Kelly Kelly. Trish & Kelly vs. LayCool at WrestleMania?

Jerry Lawler got a mild standing ovation when he came out for the biggest match of his 40-year career. Cole trashed Jerry Lawler for trying to steal the spotlight from someone in his prime. Alex Riley repeatedly interfered until the referee caught him and ordered him to go backstage! The King started to get some offense in at this point. Cole freaked out, yelling “you can’t do this!” at the King, allowing the Miz to attack from behind and regain the advantage. King made a comeback and slammed the Miz’s head into the announce table and then launched over it, taking Michael Cole out in the process! Booker T laughed about it. King threw Miz back in the ring and hit a top rope chop to the head! Miz went for a Skull Crushing Finale, but the King countered. The King planted the Miz with a DDT and then looked up at the WrestleMania sign. King went to the second rope and pulled down his shoulder strap. King hit a flying fist drop but could only score a two-count. King went for a pile-driver, but Miz back-dropped him into a pin, but King countered and got a two count. Moments later, the Miz hit a kick to the head, followed by the Skull Crushing Finale for the win! Cole rolled into the ring to celebrate with the Miz and shake his hand. It was a great match, but I expected a lot more. The crowd chanted “Jerry! Jerry!” for the King as he exited the ring and gave him a standing ovation. RAW ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH TO BECOME #1 CONTENDER
John Cena defeated C.M. Punk and John Morrison and King Sheamus and Randy Orton and R-Truth: Your referee is Scott James. King Sheamus and John Morrison started the match with R-Truth, John Cena, Randy Orton, and C.M. Punk entered their individual pods. Moments later, Orton hit a superplex on Sheamus off the top rope. The Miz & Alex Riley were shown watching from backstage. When the period ended, another pod randomly opened and C.M. Punk’s pod was chosen. There was a “problem” with Punk’s door and he got stuck, allowing Orton to attack and pound him from the get go. Orton immediately hit an RKO and pinned Punk to eliminate him!! Suddenly an email came in from the Anonymous RAW General Manager and it was read by Michael Cole; Due to a malfunctioning pod, C.M. Punk was not giving a fair chance to compete. Therefore, he is allowing Punk to re-enter his pod, and he is re-instated in this match. Punk got back in his pod and laughed maniacally in Orton’s face! When the period ended, another pod was randomly opened and John Cena entered the chamber. Morrison was selling an ankle injury at this point. Cole started to lose his voice. When the period ended, another pod was randomly opened and R-Truth entered the chamber. Truth unleashed on Sheamus and rammed his head into the side of the pod. Sheamus then took a bump on the metal grate on the outside (which is level with the mat). Sheamus recovered and hit Truth with the Rogue kick to eliminate him! Morrion unloaded on Sheamus while Cena & Orton recovered. Orton carefully watched for an opportunity to attack Morrison, and then threw him through a “glass” pod! Punk entered the chamber when the best opportunity presented itself. Punk hit Orton with a Go-To-Sleep and eliminated him! Morrison climbed on top of the pod and Sheamus gave chase. Morrison laid down on top of the pod and Sheamus set up for a High Cross off the top rope. Morrison fought back and kicked Sheamus down to the mat. Morrison stood up climb up-side-down up the roof close to the center of the dome before dropping down on top of Sheamus! It was awkward but it was enough to eliminate Sheamus! Morrison charged Cena with a flying knee but missed and smashed into the side of a pod. Punk got Cena in a leg triangle choke submission in the middle of the ring. Cena used his power to stand up and lift Punk above his head, so Morrison came off the top rope with a clothesline on Punk! Morrison was selling a knee injury. Cena planted Morrison with an Attitude Adjustment, but did not go for a pinfall. Punk took out Cena with a kick to the head! Punk did a springboard move taking out Cena on the grate. Punk cut his arm on the grate somehow. Punk turned his attention to Morrison, catapulting him towards the pod, but Morrison caught himself like spideman on the side of the chamber. Morrison went for Starship Pain on Punk, but missed and bashed his knee on the mat. Punk hit Morrison with a knee smash and got the pin to finally eliminate him. Cena hit Punk with an Attitude Adjustment over the top rope onto the steel grate and covered him for the 1-2-3 to eliminate him and win the match!
