Velveteen Dream will take on Bobby Fish next week. We’ll also see a Second Chance Gauntlet Match for the final spot in the Women’s Ladder Match. Finally, we’ll see Keith Lee defend the NXT North American Championship against Dominik Dijakovic and Damian Priest.
Triple H is in the ring. In the history of NXT, there has been no greater rivalry or personal issue more intense than what’s happened with Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa. It’s a rivalry that has sparked…
Tommaso Ciampa comes out to the ring. Ciampa says he’s been here five years. Everything that can be said has been said and what’s been done has been done. Ciampa demands Johnny Gargano get out here. Triple H says there will be no physicality tonight, but he does have Gargano come out.
Gargano comes out to the stage. Gargano says the psychopath in the ring tried to kill him the last time they met. It’s not his fault the Performance Center got destroyed and he’s getting fined. Ciampa started it. Ciampa threw the weights at the mirror and tried to dive through the window. Triple H says the only reason they weren’t fired by William Regal is because of him. There will be no touching.
Gargano gets in the ring. Triple H says he understands what’s going on with them from a professional standpoint. It happened with him and Shawn Michaels. Eventually they’ll realize there’s more than the ring. Still, it’s got to end. Triple H can’t have them tearing up buildings and endangering other people. This should end on the biggest stage there is. Gargano stops Triple H. This was supposed to end last year, but Ciampa broke his neck. Gargano laments not breaking the neck himself. Ciampa says bigger things have been going on in his life in the past year. Ciampa broke his neck and gave away his life. This needs to end between the two of them.
Triple H says after everything they’ve been through, this deserves to be on the biggest stage. Gargano says they don’t need that. Just give them a ring and a referee. Ciampa says Triple H and Shawn know this better than anyone. Gargano says he’s the heart and soul of NXT. He’ll make Ciampa realize what kind of monster he is. Triple H says if they don’t need a crowd or an arena, he’ll give them the opportunity. When do they want it? Now? Gargano says he’s not ready now after the beating he took. He needs two weeks and they’ll finish this once and for all. Triple H says he’ll find an empty building, put a ring in it, give them a referee just there to say it’s over, but when it’s over, it’s over. Two of them will walk into the building when he finds one and only one will walk out. Then it’s done. If it continues after that, then neither of them will be in NXT. They won’t have to worry about being the heart and soul of NXT because NXT will carry on without them. In two weeks, they’ll get a message with a location. They will go there.
Ciampa says in two weeks, NXT will go on without Johnny Wrestling. Gargano says he is the better man, wrestler, and everything. All of a sudden, a video saying, “The end is near,” appears on the screen. Killer Kross is shown. The show ends.
