“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

A video recaps what happened at NXT TakeOver: Toronto this past Saturday. Adam Cole retained the NXT Championship against Johnny Gargano in a brutal 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.

The NXT video airs, and we go into the Scotiabank Arena for the first of tonight’s two matches.

Breezango vs. The Forgotten Sons

The Forgotten Sons will be represented by Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler.

Fandango will start against Steve Cutler. Cutler forearms him and goes for a sunset flip, but Fandango fights it and gyrates a bit before dropping a knee. Fandango then clotheslines him out of the ring. Tyler Breeze tags in and jumps off the apron with a punch to the face. Wesley Blake charges, and Breeze hits him with a back body drop on the floor! Cutler tags in to Blake. Jaxson Ryder attacks Breeze from behind, and Blake starts stomping Breeze. Blake sends him into the ropes for a backbreaker to pick up a one count. Blake hits a slingshot knee to the back and covers for a one count. Cutler tags in, and The Forgotten Sons hit a double-team backbreaker to Breeze for a two count. Cutler hits a knee to the back before connecting with a traditional suplex for a two count. Cutler then applies a knee to the back chin lock. Blake tags in, but Breeze fights them off. Breeze hits Cutler with an enzuigiri. Breeze gets away from Cutler and goes to tag Fandango, but Ryker pulls him off the apron. The referee ejects Ryker from ringside.

Breeze makes a tag to Fandango, and he hits Blake with a pair of clotheslines and some chops. Fandango sends him into the ropes, but Blake kicks him. Fandango hits a powerslam, and then drops Cutler with one. Fandango hits Blake with a tornado DDT while kicking Cutler out of the ring. Fandango goes to the top rope, but Blake pulls him down and clotheslines him. Blake puts Fandango in the corner and Cutler tags in. Blake hits Fandango with a super hurricanrana. Cutler hits a diving head-butt, but Breeze tackles Blake into Cutler to break up the pin. An “NXT” chant picks up. Cutler tags Blake in, but Fandango gets away. Fandango sends Blake and Cutler to the floor. Breeze tags in, and Fandango hits The Forgotten Sons with a summersault senton. Fandango tags in, and they hit a double-team slingshot backbreaker. Fandango hits a slingshot elbow drop for the win.

Video Package: Velveteen Dream retains the NXT North American Championship against Pete Dunne and Roderick Strong.

Pete Dunne was interviewed this past Saturday by Cathy Kelly. Dunne says he should be holding the NXT North American Championship. Velveteen Dream did what he had to do to retain, but he’ll do whatever he has to do to take that title from him.

Jordan Myles is warming up for the NXT Breakout Tournament Finals, which will be the main event of tonight’s show.

Corey Taylor from Slipknot says NXT TakeOver: Toronto was great. Taylor hopes everyone enjoyed the theme song, which was provided by Slipknot.

Cathy Kelly caught up with Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly. They’re looking for William Regal. O’Reilly says he wasn’t the legal man in the match, but he still got pinned as if he was. They want something done because they’re tired of The Undisputed ERA getting screwed.

A slow motion replay is shown of The Undisputed ERA making a sort of tag on a whip into the ropes, but the commentators said that wasn’t enough evidence for NXT General Manager William Regal to overturn it.

Shayna Baszler was interviewed after the match by Cathy Kelly. Baszler simply said, “And still…” before walking away.

Jordan Miles vs. Cameron Grimes

The bell rings, and they quickly lock up before tussling into the ropes. Grimes goes for a takedown, but Myles fights it. Myles gets out of a waistlock and wrenches the arm. Myles gets out and applies a waistlock before taking him down for a chin lock. Myles fights up and whips him off the ropes. Grimes quickly shoulder blocks him down and hits the ropes. Myles drops down a few times before dropkicking him in the leg. Myles attacks the knee and hits a dragon screw for a two count. Myles kicks him in the back of the knee a few times and takes him down. Grimes rolls out of the ring. Grimes avoids a plancha, but Myles lands on his feet. Grimes then forearms him down. Grimes shakes some feeling into his leg and puts him in the ring. Grimes stomps him down in the corner and chops the chest. Grimes rakes the eyes and viciously sends him face-first into the turnbuckle for a near fall.

Grimes clubs away at him for a no count. Grimes fishhooks the mouth before applying an arm bar. Myles fights up and punches out. Grimes quickly sends him into the ropes for a clothesline to pick up a two count. Grimes goes back to the arm bar, but Myles whips him off. Myles comes back with a dragon screw to Grimes’ injured leg. They get to their feet and trade punches with Myles getting the better of the exchange. Myles hits the ropes and clotheslines him down, cartwheels around a clothesline, and dropkicks him. Grimes gets out of the ring to recover, but Myles kicks him in the face from the apron. Myles puts him in the ring and hits a big cross-body block for a near fall. Myles puts Grimes in position and goes to the top rope. Grimes goes to attack, but Myles gets away. Grimes goes for a backslide pin, but Myles gets out. Grimes hits the Orange Crush for a near fall.

Grimes sends him into the ropes, but Myles holds on. Myles goes for a suplex, but Grimes gets out. Myles quickly hits a backbreaker/German Suplex combo for a two count. Grimes holds the bottom rope to keep Myles from dragging him into the ring. Grimes pulls him face-first into the middle rope. Myles quickly kicks him back and charges, but Grimes turns it into a big powerslam for a near fall!

Grimes cannot believe it and punches away at Myles. The crowd is chanting, “This is awesome.” Grimes sends him into the ropes and goes for a leapfrog, but he tweaks his knee. Grimes still manages to roundhouse kick him and goes to slide him into the corner, but Myles stops him. Myles kicks him in the face and hits a brainbuster. Myles goes to the top rope for the 450 Splash to win the NXT Breakout Tournament!

Winner by Pinfall: Jordan Myles

Jordan Myles has won the NXT Breakout Tournament and will receive an NXT championship match of his choosing. NXT General Manager William Regal comes out to the stage to give Myles his contract. Regal shakes hands with him before holding the arm up. Myles gets a great reception.
