The June 19, 2014 Edition of NXT is a Professional wrestling television show of the WWE, which took place at the Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida.
We see footage from last week when Tyson Kidd had a second chance to take the NXT Title from Adrian Neville. He was not successful, but Tyson is starting to show a more devious edge to his in ring style.
Natalya is in the back with JBL and she says that she wants to give Tyson something good to do so she suggests that Tyson team with Sami Zayn. JBL likes the idea and he says that he will think about it.
We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Tom ‘Can I be on the next Legends House’ Phillips, Byron Where are my Bubbles’ Saxton, and William ‘The Voice’ Regal.
Match Number One: Sasha Banks with Summer Rae and Charlotte versus Alexa Bliss
Sasha pie faces Alexa and then she struts. Sasha with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Alexa with an arm drag out of a wheelbarrow position. Alexa with an inside cradle for a near fall. Alexa with a drop kick and then she runs into the corner for a monkey flip. Alexa tries for a drop toe hold but Sasha blocks it and applies a side head lock. Alexa tries for a head scissors but Sasha counters with a back breaker for a near fall.
Sasha pie faces Alexa again and then she slams Alexa’s head into the mat. Sasha tries for a surfboard and she pulls the hair to get Alexa set up and she applies the surfboard. The referee checks to see if Sasha’s shoulders are on the mat. Sasha puts Alexa on the mat and then she pulls the hair to stretch her even more.
Sasha gets a near fall.
Summer yells at Charlotte and they try to get in the better position at ringside.
Sasha is preoccupied with Summer and Charlotte and Alexa with an O’Connor Roll for the three count.
Winner: Alexa Bliss
After the match, Charlotte and Summer have a bit of a tussle and then Sasha gets involved. Summer calls Sasha a cry baby and she goes to the back.
Natalya is with Tyson Kidd and Tyson says that he is excited for his match, but he says that she cost him the title last week. Tyson likes the tag title opportunity, but Natalya did not have to go to JBL. Tyson says that he has gotten everything on his own and he did not need Natalya to help him. Natalya says that she loves him and he wants to help him out.
Tyson says that he needs to find Sami so they can discuss strategy.
We go to commercial.
We are back and The Vaudevillians talk about how they will achieve tag team gold. They say that they are the best thing in sports entertainment. They laugh a lot.
Match Number Two: Mojo Rawley versus Garrett Dylan
Rawley with a side head lock take down and Dylan with a head scissors but Rawley escapes. Rawley with a side head lock. Dylan sends Rawley into the corner but Rawley runs Dylan into the corner and he connects with a shoulder. Rawley runs Dylan into the corner again but Dylan with a drop toe hold into the turnbuckles. Dylan with a side slam for a near fall.
Dylan with a chop and forearm to the back. Dylan chokes Rawley in the ropes and then he kicks Rawley in the ribs. Dylan with a forearm to the head and then to the back. Dylan sends Rawley into his knee. Rawley with punches but Dylan with a punch. Dylan with an abdominal stretch. Rawley with a hip toss after escaping the abdominal stretch. Rawley blocks a punch and connects with a punch of his own. Rawley with a flying shoulder tackle.
Rawley with a Stinger Splash into the corner and then he hits a second one. Rawley with a leaping butt bump and then he hits Hyperdrive for the three count.
Winner: Mojo Rawley
We go to the locker room and Sami asks Tyson if they are ready. Sami says that they came off some big losses. It is time to redeem each other and it is a restart.
We go to commercial.
We are back and CJ Parker makes his way into the arena with his sign while William Regal tells everyone what he thinks about CJ.
Eden Stiles tells us that Tyler Breeze has entered the building.
Match Number Three: Aiden English and Simon Gotch versus Angelo Dawkins and Travis Tyler
Dawkins and Gotch start things off and Dawkins with a waist lock take down. Gotch with a key lock and take down. Gotch with push ups to the back. Tyler tags in and Gotch with a front face lock. English tags in and Gotch with an uppercut to the back and English with a neck breaker for a near fall. English with a leg drop and then he bows at Dawkins.
English with a hammer lock using the legs and he falls back to the mat. Gotch tags in and Gotch with a snap mare and he does Hindu squats and then he drops back to the mat. English tags back in and he connects with an uppercut. Gotch tags back in and he uses his strength to punch Tyler in the midsection. Gotch holds Tyler and then Gotch with a Finlay Slam and English tags in and hits a swanton for the three count.
Winners: Aiden English and Simon Gotch
We go to Devin Taylor in the back with Colin Cassady. Devin asks Colin about his win last week. Colin says that things have been going smooth for him, but things could be a little bit better. Something has been missing. It is time to sing a different tune and Colin sings ‘That’s Amore’ and he leaves.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Rob Van Dam is with Devin Taylor. Rob says that he wants to see what it is all about. The people on Raw and Smackdown are so good so he wants to see who is coming through NXT. Rob says that he wants to face Adrian Neville.
Match Number Four: Kalisto versus Tyler Breeze
They lock up and Breeze backs Kalisto into the corner but Kalisto escapes. They lock up again and Breeze backs Kalisto into the corner and Breeze tries for a hip toss but Kalisto with a cartwheel. They lock up and Breeze with a side head lock. Breeze with a side head lock take down. Kalisto with a bridge to try to escape the side head lock.
Breeze holds on to the side head lock when Kalisto tries to send him off the ropes. Kalisto gets a near fall with a rollup. Breeze continues to hold on to the side head lock. Breeze with a side head lock take down. Kalisto rolls through and gets out of the hold and hits a corkscrew cross body and then he hits a head scissors from a hand stand and Breeze is sent to the floor.
Kalisto teases a dive to the floor but Breeze moves and Kalisto stays in the ring.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Breeze with kicks to Kalisto in the corner. Breeze pulls up his chinchilla fur and he gets a near fall. Kalisto with a punch but Breeze with a front face lock. Kalisto with a rana for a near fall but Breeze with a punch to the temple and then Breeze with more punches. Breeze gets a few near falls to wear down Kalisto. Breeze with a forearm to the back. Breeze returns to the front face lock. Kalisto gets back to his feet again and Breeze sends Kalisto into the turnbuckles with a bulldog.
Kalisto kicks Breeze from the apron and then Kalisto with a springboard cross body and he rolls through and cannot capitalize on the move. They both get to their feet before the ten count. Kalisto with punches to Breeze and then Kalisto with a rollup and then Breeze rolls through but Kalisto with a kick to the head. Kalisto with a near fall.
Breeze sends Kalisto to the apron and then Kalisto with a cartwheel on the ropes. Kalisto with a boot to Breeze but when Kalisto comes off the ropes, Breeze hits the Beauty Shot for the three count.
Winner: Tyler Breeze
We go to commercial with the announcement that Adrian Neville will face Rob Van Dam next week.
Match Number Five: Tyson Kidd and Sami Zayn versus Konor and Viktor for the NXT Tag Titles
Viktor and Zayn start things off and Viktor with a forearm to the back and another one to the kidneys. Viktor with punches to Zayn. Viktor with an Irish whip and chop to Zayn. Viktor sends Zayn into the ropes and he connects with a forearm to the kidneys. Zayn leaps over Viktor and hits a leg lariat for a near fall.
Viktor runs Zayn into the corner and Konor tags in and he punches Zayn. Konor with a European uppercut and then he kicks Zayn in the corner. Konor with another kick in the corner. Viktor tags in and he gets a near fall. Viktor with a chop but Zayn with a forearm. Viktor with more chops. Viktor with a kick and Konor tags back in.
Konor with kicks to Zayn while Kidd watches from the corner. Viktor tags in and he keeps Zayn from making the tag. Viktor with a belly-to-back suplex and he gets a near fall.
Kidd walks away from the ring while Zayn and Viktor exchange shots. Zayn with a kick to Viktor and he hits a cross body. Kidd stays on the floor and Zayn wants to know what is going on. Zayn yells at Kidd and Konor with a splash into the corner. Viktor tags in and they hit the Fall of Man for the three count.
Winners: Konor and Viktor
