IN RING SEGMENT
The show started off with Matt Striker already inside of the ring. Striker welcomed the crowd to the show, and said that he had a huge announcement, and that is in three weeks NXT will celebrate its 100th episode. He then brought up Daniel Bryan getting his start on the show, and then welcomed Justin Gabriel to the ring, to make his homecoming back to NXT. Once Gabriel came out to the ring Heath Slater then came out with a microphone telling the crowd to shut up and then he went on to talk about how he carried Gabriel through NXT, and while they were tag team champions, and he carried him back home from the bar. Heath then said that he is the one-man southern rock band. Gabriel then said that Slater has always been good at making up stories; Gabriel then asked him what a one-man southern rock band is? Things then got out of hand so Striker then said that they will hand things in the ring Slater versus Gabriel one on one right now.
SINGLES MATCH
Justin Gabriel defeated Heath Slater via pin fall: Gabriel won with the 450 Splash.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Derek Bateman was in the hallway where he was laying his head on a box. When Maxine comes to walk by though Bateman jumped up. He told her to wait although he knows she hates him. Derek said that she was crazy, and so is he and that they shared a sweet love. Maxine then went off on him about how he liked to watch Titanic every weekend and cry. Bateman denied this and then she that this was his problem she never listened to her, and he has a match tonight that he should be preparing for rather than talking to her. He then said that is what he loves about her how she makes him keep his eyes on the prize and that he is going to defeat Johnny Curtis tonight and then he is going to get their love back on track, and that they would be the power couple the WWE so desperately needs. Maxine said whatever and tried to walk away. Bateman then said one more thing and then pulled her in to a deep passionate kiss, which she at first fought but then got into. After the kiss she then slapped him and stormed off, leaving Bateman standing there smiling.

Tyson Kidd defeated Percy Watson via pin fall: Kidd won with a swinging fisherman neckbreaker.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Maxine was walking backstage when she passes Aksana and Aksana stopped her saying that she was looking for her. Aksana said that she was going through Teddy Long’s phone and she came across an e-mail from Derek Bateman that she thought Maxine should see. Maxine then read it aloud and it said that he cannot wait to be a SmackDown superstar but he wanted to make sure that Maxine stayed on NXT where she belongs, as he cannot become the next breakout star with her riding his coat tails. Maxine then asked if Curtis put Aksana up to this and she said no she was just trying to help. Maxine then screamed and stormed off.
SINGLES MATCH
Derek Bateman defeated Johnny Curtis via pin fall: Bateman won with a Roll-up pin.
IN RING SEGMENT
After the match Maxine who was at ringside came into the ring where Bateman was on one knee. Maxine walked up to him starred at him and then walked away and out of the ring. Maxine then went up the ramp leaving a confused Bateman in the ring and then Johnny Curtis came out on to the ramp. Maxine walked up to him and then smacked him across the face and then kissed him passionately in the ring as Bateman stood in the ring watching.
