IN RING SEGMENT (KISSING CONTEST)
Matt Striker + The NXT rookies (Kaval & Michael McGillicutty & “Lucky” Cannon & Percy Watson & Husky Harris & Alex Riley) + WWE Women’s champions Lay-Cool (Michelle McCool & Layla) + “Margarita” Margaret : Matt welcomed the rookies to the ring. Matt said there was more room in the ring after last week’s elimination. Matt said the rookies needed to kiss and make up after the brawl that happened last week. Matt said tonight the rookies would compete in a kissing contest. Matt introduced Lay-Cool to the ring. Michelle said they wanted to see a softer sweeter side of the NXT rookies, and how they kiss can tell them a lot about how they’ll be as a WWE superstar. Lay-Cool said everyone wanted to kiss them because they are flawless. Michelle said all they had to do is kiss them as long, as soft, and as passionately as they choose. Lay-Cool said the winner gets a fabulous package of prizes. Husky Harris was first. Right when Husky was about to kiss Michelle said the boys weren’t kissing them because they brought in their own expert kisser. The expert kisser turned out to be a short fat woman named “Margarita” Margaret. Husky went first and I don’t think Margaret liked the kiss. Michael McGillicutty went next and basically licked her face. Cannon gave her a really passionate looking kiss. Percy Watson went next, he seemed terrified. Someone pushed him into her. Kaval went next. Kaval didn’t want to kiss her and Lay-Cool felt bad. Layla ended up kissing Kaval instead but they still made him kiss Margaret. Alex Riley went last and actually seemed excited. Alex gave her a big kiss, and then collapsed holding his heart after. “Lucky” Cannon won the contest. Lay-Cool said the prize was cooties, as well as a bunch of other diseases. It’s times like these where I wish recapping this was a paying job.
SINGLES MATCH
Husky Harris w/Cody Rhodes defeated Kaval w/Michelle McCool & Layla El: Husky put in a gut wrench early on but Kaval fought back with kicks. Husky rolled out of the ring and Kaval jumped onto him but was caught and thrown into the dasher boards. Husky drove his knee into Kaval’s back. Kaval dodged a tackle and managed to reverse a catapult into a double stomp for 0. Kaval missed the tidal crush and Husky hit the running senton for 3.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Ashley Valence & Michael McGillicutty w/WWE Intercontinental champion Kofi Kingston + “Lucky” Cannon & Mark Henry + WWE United States champion Mike “The Miz” Mizanin : Ashley asked Michael why Miz’s comments made him so angry. Michael said Miz doesn’t know anything about him so he’s going to challenge him to a match and find out who really is mediocre. Cannon showed up and said he respected Michael’s issue with Miz but he also has an issue and is going to take care of it tonight. They began arguing and Miz got angry (he was watching on stage). Miz said it was no shocker that all the attention was on him. Miz said they could fight each other and the winner would fight him. Kofi said tonight Miz should put his money where his mouth is. Kofi said the winner would face Miz tonight unless he’s afraid. Kofi talked in a little girls voice and Miz got mad and said he would eat them alive.
SINGLES MATCH
Michael McGillicutty w/Kofi Kingston defeated “Lucky” Cannon w/Mark henry: Cannon took down Michael with a fireman’s carry and went for the arm. Cannon went for a monkey flip but Michael pushed him down and hit a drop kick. Michael hit the swinging neckbreaker right after for 3.
ON STAGE
Matt Striker & The WWE Pros (Zack Ryder & Kofi Kingston & Mike “The Miz” Mizanin & Michelle McCool & Layla & Cody Rhodes & Mark Henry & John Morrison): Matt asked the pros which pro was doing the worst job. Kofi started and said Lay-Cool were the worst because Kaval is awesome and they had him coming out in a pink shirt. Lay-Cool said Kofi is doing the worst because the fans love Kaval’s pink shirt. Mark Henry said Zack Ryder is doing the worst because his pro was eliminated first. Cody Rhodes said the worst pro was Kofi Kingston. Miz cut off Zack Ryder before he could talk and said the worst pro was all of them. John asked Miz if he could think of anything original to say. Miz asked John if he was done and said he’s gotten everything since they split up. Miz told everyone to watch while he led his rookie to victory right now because he’s The Miz, and he’s awesome!
SINGLES MATCH
Alex Riley w/Mike “The Miz” Mizanin defeated “Showtime” Percy Watson w/Montel Vontavious Porter : No one was really in control until Alex DDT’d Percy on the apron. Percy took control with some drop kicks and a flying shoulder block. Percy rolled up Alex for 2 with a sunset flip. Percy went for the corner punches but Alex turned it into a reverse atomic drop. Alex hit the TKO for 3.
NON (WWE UNITED STATES) TITLE MATCH
WWE United States champion Mike “The Miz” Mizanin w/Alex Riley defeated Michael McGillicutty w/Kofi Kingston : Michael took down Miz and they chain wrestled on the mat a bit before Miz elbowed Michael in the face. Miz kicked Michael in the gut and hit a running knee lift. Miz stayed in control and drop kicked Michael out of the ring. Michael ran Miz into the ring apron but took a boot to the face. Michael fired up back in the ring and took control momentarily. Michael hit a belly to belly but Miz dodged a drop kick. Miz hit the skull crushing finale after for 3.
