Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcome us to the show. They talk about the WWE Draft and tonight’s Superstar Pool. Any champion drafted will see their championship come to the brand with them.
Stephanie McMahon makes her way to the stage for the first five picks. Raw gets three, SmackDown gets two.

Kayla Braxton interviews Seth Rollins about coming to SmackDown. Rollins says it was never about the name – the message was what mattered. Rollins is excited to move to SmackDown, though he is heartbroken and upset that he won’t be there in person to watch the Mysterio family implode. Luckily for him he’ll never have to look at their disgusting faces again. The greater good is moving to Friday night.
Falls Count Anywhere
Big E vs. Sheamus
They start brawling right away. Sheamus quickly hits a rolling senton for a two count. Big E quickly comes back with a uranage out of the corner. Sheamus rolls to the apron, so Big E spears him off to the floor! Big E nearly landed right on his forehead. Big E gets up and smiles. Big E goes under the ring, throws out some giant Booty O’s, and grabs a kendo stick. Big E turns into a Brogue Kick from Sheamus for a near fall.
Sheamus punches Big E around ringside, but Big E soon fights back. Sheamus spears him into the apron and sits him on it. Sheamus punches away at him and ties his arms in the ropes. Big E is defenseless and kicks at Sheamus, but Sheamus easily avoids them. Sheamus picks up the kendo stick and taunts him. Sheamus then clubs him in the chest with the kendo stick a few times before Big E collapses to the floor. Sheamus picks up near fall.
Sheamus goes under the ring and puts his whole body under there looking for a weapon. Sheamus’ feet are hanging out from under the ring. Big E grabs some duct tape and tapes Sheamus’ feet together. Big E then hits him a few times with the kendo stick, sending him over the barricade.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Big E beating Sheamus to the back with the kendo stick. Big E goes to give him a suplex on a platform, but Sheamus blocks it and hits a release suplex onto it. Sheamus angrily hits him with a kendo stick and punches him over to the catering area. Sheamus dumps flour all over him and throws some eggs at him.
Sheamus sends him into a heavy crate before throwing him around the hallway. Sheamus shouts, “No more unicorns or pancakes!” Sheamus grabs a flatscreen TV, but Big E swings back with a broomstick. Big E hits him in the neck and breaks it over his back. Big E viciously beats him with a garbage can on the back before driving him through a door into the parking lot area. Sheamus crawls between two cars and hits Big E twice with a tire iron! Sheamus puts him on the hood of a car and climbs up. Sheamus hits White Noise through the windshield for a near fall!
Sheamus, who is bleeding from numerous cuts from the kendo stick shots, puts Big E in the driver’s side and slams the door off hits back a few times. Sheamus then puts him in the trunk and goes to slam the door on Big E’s arm. Big E stops him from slamming the door and kicks Sheamus back. Big E sidesteps a Brogue Kick, and Sheamus takes the trunk door off! Sheamus angrily goes for another Brogue Kick, but Big E counters into a powerbomb onto another car windshield, but Sheamus just slides off the car. Big E, who has a completely bloody back, throws Sheamus onto the windshield, breaking it. Big E then hits a Big Ending off the car through some tables for the win!
Winner by Pinfall: Big E
Sasha Banks will go for the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Bayley tonight.
Jey Uso makes his way to the ring. We’ll hear from WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, next.
-Commercial Break-
Kayla Braxton interviews Big E backstage, but before he can say anything, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods make their returns. They embrace him. Woods says they’re missing the WWE World Tag Team Championship. Big E looks exhausted and hugs them.
Jey Uso is in the ring and is wondering what the stipulation is going to be. Roman Reigns doesn’t come out. Uso says it doesn’t matter because he’s ready for it.
Paul Heyman appears on the screen. Heyman tells him to stop embarrassing himself. The champion will appear at his discretion and leisure. Anyone on SmackDown, both tenured and coming from Raw, applauds Uso’s ambition. It’s necessary for survival on the island of relevancy. Those that get too ambitious and want to come up against the champ, here’s what happens when you step into the ring against the reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns is backstage with Paul Heyman. Reigns’ dad, who is Uso’s uncle, always said in this business you should believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see… but what you just saw… you can believe that. Reigns says he tried to help Uso and make his life better. All he had to do was say the words and acknowledge him as the Tribal Chief. Now for the first time inside Hell in a Cell, there will be an “I Quit” Match. It didn’t have to be like this. Reigns just wants to help him. Reigns sadly says, “I love you, but after you say, ‘I Quit,’ there will be consequences.”
Stephanie McMahon is talking with WWE Official Adam Pearce. More picks will be revealed, next.

Stephanie McMahon comes out again. She announces there will be a second title match tonight with The New Day taking on Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura for the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. It’s time for the next draft picks.

AJ Styles appears from his home. Styles says he should be offended about not being the first pick by SmackDown after all he did for the brand, but he’s relieved. He shouldn’t have to be surrounded by cheaters like Jeff Hardy and neckbearded loudmouths like Sami Zayn. Styles’ future is looking phenomenal.
The Miz and John Morrison vs. Jeff Hardy and Matt Riddle
Matt Riddle starts against John Morrison. Riddle immediately hits him with a fisherman’s suplex. Jeff Hardy tags in, and Hardy and Riddle hit Morrison with Poetry in Motion. The Miz runs in, but he’s sent out of the ring. Hardy drops to all fours, and Riddle jumps off his back with a somersault plancha on Miz and Morrison.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see Miz and Morrison double-team Hardy for a two count. Morrison applies a modified neck vice, but Hardy fights up. Hardy kicks out and goes for a Twist of Fate, but Morrison gets out. They wipe each other out with a double clothesline.
Riddle and Miz tag in. Riddle takes Miz down and kicks Morrison in the head before hitting a t-bone suplex. Riddle hits Miz with a running forearm and takes him down for a Broton. Riddle hits a bridging German Suplex, but Morrison breaks it up. Hardy hits Morrison with Twist of Fate. Miz throws Hardy out of the ring and turns into a knee to the face from Riddle. Riddle hits Bro Derek for the win.
Winners by Pinfall: Jeff Hardy and Matt Riddle
Lars Sullivan makes his return after being gone for a year and a half. Sullivan easily runs through Jeff Hardy and Matt Riddle, clubbing and slamming them down. Sullivan attacks Miz, viciously wiping him out with clubs to the head before sending him headfirst into the turnbuckle. Sullivan then hits him with the Freak Accident.

Stephanie McMahon is back. She says Lars Sullivan will be entered into the Superstar Pool on Monday.

Rey and Dominik Mysterio are backstage. Rey is happy they didn’t get broken up and is happy they get to continue to try to get even with Seth Rollins.
SmackDown Women’s Championship
Sasha Banks vs. Bayley (c)
Sasha Banks slaps Bayley down while the ring introductions are going on. The bell rings, and they brawl right away. Bayley quickly gets out of the ring and says she’s done with Banks. Banks grabs her and gets her in the ring. They trade pins before Bayley attacks the neck to take her down. Banks gets out of an electric chair, takes her down, and applies the Bank Statement. Bayley quickly maneuvers her body to get a foot on the bottom rope. Bayley gets out of the ring and soon hits Banks in the ribs with a steel chair.
Winner by Disqualification: Sasha Banks
Bayley remains SmackDown Women’s Champion
Banks angrily attacks Bayley with the steel chair, slamming it off her back. Banks puts the chair around Bayley’s neck and goes to the second rope. Bayley quickly gets out of the ring before Banks can stomp it. Referees run down to keep Banks and Bayley separated.
The Progressive Match Flo highlights Kevin Owens’ interview with Alexa Bliss last week on SmackDown. The Fiend attacked Owens with the Mandible Claw during the segment.
Kevin Owens is preparing backstage. Alexa Bliss walks up to him and says, “Let him in!”

SmackDown Tag Team Championship
Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura (c’s) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods)
Cesaro starts against Xavier Woods, who is retruning from an Achilles tear. Cesaro takes him down, but Woods quickly comes back with a head-scissor takeover. Cesaro quickly clotheslines him down and stomps the head. Cesaro talks a little trash, so Woods punches him back. Cesaro reverses a whip, but Woods ducks a pair of clotheslines and punches him. Woods kicks Nakamura off the apron and attacks Cesaro. Kofi Kingston tags in and the returning former WWE Champion hits Cesaro with a double stomp. Nakamura breaks up the pin.
-Commercial Break-
Cesaro is attacking Kingston as we return from the break. Cesaro sends him to the corner, but Kingston clips him with a pendulum kick. Nakamura and Woods tag in. Woods attacks Nakamura with a kick and hits Cesaro with an Honor Roll. Woods sends Nakamura out of the ring and hits Cesaro with a big baseball slide. Woods kicks Nakamura back and hits a slingshot DDT for a near fall. Nakamura quickly makes a comeback and lays Woods on the top rope for a knee to the ribs. Cesaro tags in and picks Woods up. Nakamura knees Woods before Cesaro hits a gutwrench suplex for a near fall. Kingston tags in and sends Cesaro out of the ring. Kingston then hits a sloppy looking springboard into a DDT on the floor. Kingston gets Cesaro in the ring and picks up a near fall.
Cesaro starts up the Cesaro Swing and Nakamura readies for a Kinshasa. Woods holds his leg before he can. Kingston gets out and hits Cesaro with Trouble in Paradise. Nakamura quickly kicks Kingston down for a two count. Woods tags in. Kingston hits Nakamura with Trouble in Paradise. Woods goes to the top rope and hits a diving elbow drop on Nakamura for the win!
Winners by Pinfall and new SmackDown Tag Team Champions: The New Day
Big E, with ice packs and bandages all over his body, runs down to celebrate with Woods and Kingston.
Stephanie McMahon comes out and says these are the last selections of the evening.

Otis is backstage with Tucker preparing for his trial. A lawyer walks up and hands Otis a form. The Miz’ lawyer is filing a continuance to drag this out. No trial tonight.
Footage is shown of Sasha Banks and Bayley fighting earlier tonight. Bayley hit Banks with a chair to keep the title via DQ.
Sasha Banks is backstage and calls Bayley a coward. She should’ve known Bayley would go for a disqualification to keep the title. If Bayley wants hell, she’ll give it to her. Banks used to love Bayley, but now she’s going to take what matters most from her: the SmackDown Women’s Championship.
“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt makes his way to the ring. He’ll face Kevin Owens, next.
-Commercial Break-
The WWE Draft continues next week on Raw. Next week on SmackDown, it’ll be the Season Premiere of SmackDown. Roman Reigns will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Braun Strowman. We’ll also see The New Day’s Farewell to SmackDown.
“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt vs. Kevin Owens
This is The Fiend’s first match on free TV.
Owens quickly clotheslines him in the corner and hits a cannonball. The Fiend easily pulls himself up and punches Owens down. The Fiend uppercuts him and punches him down in the corner. The Fiend sends him into the ropes and wipes him out with a HUGE body block. Owens gets out of the ring to recover. The Fiend turns Owens inside out with a clothesline on the floor. The Fiend gets him in the ring and punches away at him in the corner. The Fiend sends him to the corner, but Owens sidesteps him. The Fiend then arcs his back to look at him. The Fiend blocks a kick and hits an inverted swinging sidewalk slam. The Fiend continues to attack him and hits a head-butt, but Owens bounces back and hits a clothesline.
The Fiend pulls himself up, but Owens fights out. The Fiend gets him out of the ring and hits a one-armed slam on the commentary table before hitting him with Sister Abigail on the table’s edge.
-Commercial Break-
We come back from the break to see The Fiend dominating Owens. The Fiend hits a one-armed slam and starts laughing. The Fiend sets up for Sister Abigail, but Owens fights out and hits two superkicks. Owens hits two cannonballs in the corner, gets him out of the ring, and hits a DDT on the floor. Owens gets in the ring to stop the count-out. The Fiend easily gets off the floor and gets on the apron. Owens knocks The Fiend off the apron and hits a Bullfrog Splash to the floor!
The Fiend gets back to his feet and pulls Owens out of the ring. Owens attacks and goes for a Pop-up Powerbomb onto the commentary table, but they mistime it. Owens then hits him with the powerbomb and collapses the table. Owens gets The Fiend in the ring. The Fiend applies the Mandible Claw, so Owens hits a Stunner. The Fiend no sells it and keeps the Mandible Claw applied before hitting another one-armed slam. The Fiend covers Owens for the win.

The lights go out. When they come back on, The Fiend is face-to-face with Alexa Bliss. The high pitched scream is heard. They look down the ramp at the broken Kevin Owens in the ring.
