Smackdown Live is from London, England and we kick off with Renee Young introduces Daniel Bryan. Renee Young mentions that Daniel Bryan went 75 minutes in the Greatest Royal Rumble match and then goes on to defeat Big Cass at Backlash but he fell short last week versus Rusev.
A loud “Daniel Bryan” chant from the crowd. Daniel tells Renee to feel that. Was he disappointed? Sure. Does he like losing? He says when he came back, he was just happy to be back doing what he loves to do. But now it is not enough to be back. He doesn’t want to just be back, he wants to be on top. He knows it will be a fight and a climb. But he will become the WWE champion.
Big Cass comes out and says “Hold on.” He says he has been in the back listening to Daniel Bryan running his motuh and he is sick of it. He may have everyone fooled but he doesn’t have him fooled. About how he was away for three years but Cass says he knows the real truth. He says that Daniel’s first major set back was not losing to Rusev. But that he was his first major set back. He’s the reason he lost to Rusev. He’s the reason he will keep losing because he will ensure he never, ever achieves his dreams and aspirations in the WWE again.
And at Backlash he lost, yes but he didn’t tap out because he was in pain. He tapped out because he wanted to get out of the submission to get up and beat Daniel. He says he beat him down just like he will keep beating him down. He says is Daniel Bryan a loser? Yes! Should Daniel Bryan have stayed retired? Yes! Should Daniel Bryan take his ball, go home and be a stay at home father while Brie wears the pants in his family? The answer… Yes!
