The New Day, The Miz, The Usos, Titus O’Neil and Dolph Ziggler In-Ring Promo:
Big E says that The Rock should be ashamed of himself. Kofi says that The New Day were only there to enlighten The Rock. Despite of all The Rock’s accolades in Hollywood he doesn’t have what The New Day has and that’s gold. What did The People’s Booty Do? He sully the name of The New Day by referring to their magical and beautiful unicorns horns as a part of a Llama in which you are not allowed to mention on a PG Show. Big E knows what The Rock is cooking and it’s nothing but doo-doo. Kofi calls The Rock “Doo-Doo Dwayne”. The Miz comes out to interrupt The New Day. Miz says that he feels The New Day’s pain because he too was insulted by The Rock this past Monday on Raw.
To think that The Rock of all people would disrespect one of his silver screen contemporaries won’t faze the Miz because he doesn’t get upstaged. Miz is A-Lister who main-evented WrestleMania and he deserves respect. The Usos comes out to interrupt The Miz and The New Day. The Usos asks The Miz if he’s mad. Jey says that he’s still upset that Miz keeps bringing up the fact that he main evented a WrestleMania. Jimmy says maybe that’s the reason got all that money to purchase a pretty dress. Woods tells The Usos to not talk to The Miz like that because he main evented a WrestleMania he has the best mouth in the business. Big E says that it’s a shame that The Usos continue to ride the coattails of their cousin and there’s a gold allergy running through their family. Kofi says that The Usos feel quite uncomfortable right now because they are outnumbered. Jey says that they have can shut both Miz and the entire New Day’s mouths. Out comes Titus O’Neil. Full donny brook ensues between both teams.
First Match: The Usos, Dolph Ziggler and Titus O’Neil vs. WWE tag team champions The New Day & The Miz in an 8-man tag team match
Woods and Jey start off the match. Miz tags himself in. Miz and Jey lock up. Jey with a side headlock to The Miz. Jey with a running shoulder tackle. Miz goes for a hip toss, but Jey counters with a hip toss. Jey dances in the middle of the ring. Jey with a right hand to Miz for a one count. Jey tags in Jimmy. Usos with a double team elbow drop for a one count. Miz with a jaw breaker to Jimmy and tags in Kofi. Jimmy tags in O’Neil. O’Neil chops Kofi in the chest. O’Neil brings Kofi to his team’s corner and continues to chop him in the chest. O’Neil drags Kofi around the ring like a rag doll and tags in Ziggler. Ziggler with a standing dropkick for a one count. Kofi tries to crawl out of the ring, but regains momentum with a dropkick. Kofi tags in Woods. Woods with a dropkick to Ziggler for a one count. Woods sends Ziggler to the corner and tags in Big E. Big E with a slam to Ziggler for a one count. Ziggler kicks Big E in the chest. Ziggler with a baseball slide and tags in Jimmy.
Jimmy with a kick to the mid-section of Big E. Jimmy connects with a Samoan Drop and drops Big E with the running stinkface. Jimmy knocks The New Day and Miz off the ring apron. Big E attacks Jimmy from behind. Big E with a belly to belly suplex to Jimmy. Coming out of the break The New Day and The Miz begin the Unicorn Stampede. Miz with a corner clothesline to Jimmy. Woods plays Francesca 2. Kofi kicks Jimmy in the back of the head. Kofi distracts the referee as Miz lands a series of left hands to the back of Jimmy’s head. Jimmy with an enziguri to Kofi. Kofi tags in Woods. Jimmy whips Woods to the middle rope. Miz and O’Neil are tagged in. O’Neil with a shoulder tackle and a clothesline to Miz. O’Neil clothesline Big E over the top rope. O’Neil with a big boot to Miz. Kofi dives off the top rope, but O’Neil catches him and lands a series of back breakers. O’Neil with a Stinger Splash to Kofi in the corner and connects with a powerslam for a two count. Usos with superkicks for Big E and Woods. The Usos strike with a double team planchas over the top rope. Ziggler with a Zig Zag to Woods. Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale, but Ziggler counters with a superkick. O’Neil connects with The Clash of The Titus to pick up the victory.
Winner: The Usos, Dolph Ziggler and Titus O’Neil
Second Match: WWE United States champion Kalisto vs. Neville for the WWE United States championship
Kalisto goes for a monkey flip, but Neville gets back on his feet. Kalisto with a handstand/head scissors takedown that sends Neville to the outside. Kalisto goes for a diving hurricanrana, but Neville catches him. Neville goes to drive Kalisto to the corner, but Kalisto counters with a hurricarana. Neville launches Kalisto to the ring apron. Kalisto goes for a springboard dropkick, but Neville counters with a sitout-powerbomb for a two count.
Neville with a big boot to the face of Neville. Kalisto with kicks to Neville midsection. Neville regains momentum with a clothesline. Neville puts Kalisto on his shoulder and climbs up the ropes. Kalisto with right hands to the back of Neville. Kalisto with a Frankensteiner off the top rope to Neville for a two count. Kalisto goes for the Salida Del Sol, but Neville counters with an enziguri. Neville goes for a deadlift German suplex and Kalisto rolls Neville up for a two count. Neville with another boot to the face of Kalisto. Neville goes for the deadlift German suplex and Kalisto counters with the Salida Del Sol to pick up the victory.
Winner: Still WWE United States champion Kalisto
Chris Jericho’s Highlight Reel with Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose
Jericho welcomes us to Thursday Night Jericho and the Highlight Reel. Jericho may have last 51 minutes, but Triple H come out on top as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Jericho brings up his match with AJ Styles. Jericho calls his match with Styles one for the ages. Jericho brings up the main event of Fastlane and out comes Dean Ambrose. Ambrose has a flower pot in his hand. Jericho goes on to introduce Roman Reigns. Lawler says that people in Dallas are calling Roman “Romo Reigns” because he can’t win the big matches. Ambrose says that he brought the flowers down to the ring because it looked like Jericho’s set up for the Highlight Reel needed to be jazzed up. Reigns brings a stool into the ring, so the guys can put the potted plant on the stool.
Jericho says that he has traveled around the world with Reigns and Ambrose and he can tell that they’re best friends, but Jericho asks Reigns & Ambrose if their upcoming match at Fastlane will cause any animosity between the both of them? Reigns says that they are brothers and they don’t have time to argue or fight over stupid things. They talk about obtaining the spotlight and getting the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Ambrose says that brothers fight over stupid all the time like who broke who’s car, who stole which one’s wallet, etc. Jericho asks if Reigns and Ambrose will still be best friends when the bell rings at Fastlane. Ambrose says that he’s going to punch Reigns in the mouth and they get into a funny soliloquy about their game plans.
Jericho brings up Brock Lesnar and says that Ambrose has never been in the ring with Lesnar. Ambrose says that he’s indestructible and he’s the iron man in WWE. When it comes to getting an opportunity at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of WrestleMania, there’s no time to be scared of Brock Lesnar. Reigns tells Ambrose that he doesn’t know what he’s getting into when it comes to fighting Brock Lesnar because he is the beast. Ambrose says that technically he doesn’t have to beat Lesnar he can just beat Reigns. Reigns says that it will be the first time because Ambrose has never done it before. The Wyatt Family shows up on the stage. Bray says that The Wyatt Family has brought forth the apocalypse to the WWE and at the Royal Rumble they destroyed the beast Brock Lesnar. Reigns says that they don’t know what Bray is talking about. Reigns tells The Wyatts to come down to the ring. Bray tells Reigns that patience is a virtue and if Reigns wants to be successful in his quest to greatness then he needs to engulf the heart of a good man. Bray says that he’s going to put the hearts of Reigns, Jericho and Ambrose to the test against The Wyatt Family tonight. Bray says that the apocalypse is upon you and tells them to run.
Third Match: AJ Styles vs. Curtis Axel w/The Social Outcasts
Styles with a waist lock to Axel. Styles connects with a dropkick to Axel. Styles with a flying knee drop. Axel attacks Styles in the back of the head. Axel stomps Styles in the chest. Axel with a standing dropkick to Styles. Axel with a back breaker. Axel goes for a flying elbow drop, but Styles rolls out of the way. Styles with a running lariat to Axel. Axel with a boot to the midsection of Styles. Styles with a springboard Pele Kick to Axel. Styles knocks Rose off the ring apron. Styles with a plancha onto Slater and Bo on the outside. Axel goes for the Perfect Plex, but Styles counters with a Pele Kick. Styles with the Styles Clash to pick up the victory.
Winner: AJ Styles
Fourth Match: Natalya vs. WWE Divas champion Charlotte w/Ric Flair in a non-title match
Natalya with a side headlock take down. Charlotte with a head scissors. Natalya with a hammer lock to Charlotte. Natalya rolls Charlotte up for a one count. Natalya with a snap mare and a dropkick for a one count. Charlotte with a big boot to Natalya for a two count. Charlotte with an abdominal stretch to Natalya. Natalya counters with her own abdominal stretch. Natalya with a back slide for a one count. Charlotte gets back on her feet and lands a dropkick. Charlotte with multiple chops to Natalya chest. Natalya with a clothesline and a German suplex that sends Charlotte to the outside. Natalya rolls Charlotte back into the ring. Ric Flair distracts Natalya. As Natalya goes back into the ring and Charlotte chop blocks Natalya in the back of her knee. Charlotte with the Figure Eight and Natalya taps out. After the match Charlotte locks in the Figure Four Leg Lock and Becky Lynch comes down to the ring to make the save. Charlotte rolls out of the ring and heads to the back with father.
Winner: Charlotte via submission
Goldust and R-Truth Segment:
Earlier in the day we see R-Truth stretching a front of the Amalie Arena. Goldust comes up to Truth and says that he is sweating his Golden Globes off. Goldust asks Truth if he would like to run around the arena six times. Goldust stretches with Truth. Goldust asks Truth if he thought about accepting his offer yet. Truth says that he doesn’t swing that way. Goldust asks if they can be tag team partners their team can be called Golden Truth. Truth says that Goldust should be ashamed of himself and walks away.
Fifth Match: The Wyatt Family w/Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho in a 6-man tag team match
Jericho and Rowan start off the match. Rowan with right hands to Jericho in the corner. Jericho chops Rowan in the chest and tags in Ambrose. Ambrose with a chop/jab combination to Rowan. Ambrose with a running dropkick and tags in Reigns. Reigns drives Rowan to the corner and Jericho tags himself in. Rowan with a shoulder tackle to Jericho. Rowan with a side headlock. Rowan drives Jericho to the corner and tags in Harper. Harper with a palm strike to Jericho. Harper rakes the eyes of Jericho. Harper with a side kick to the midsection. Jericho with knife edge chops to Harper. Jericho with a flying elbow drop. Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho, but Harper escapes the hold. Jericho with a running clothesline. Jericho with ten right hands to the head of Harper in the corner. Harper with a delayed vertical suplex for a two count.
Coming out of the break Bray connects with a running splash to Jericho and tags in Rowan. Rowan with a vice grip to Jericho. Rowan with a pump-handle back breaker for a two count. Rowan tags in Harper. Harper with a modified variation of the Figure Four Leg Lock. Jericho chops Harper in the chest, but Harper counters with a side headlock. Harper transitions into a chin lock. Harper with a Michinoku Driver for a two count. Harper with a big boot that drives Reigns to the outside. Jericho with a codebreaker to Harper. Ambrose and Rowan are tagged in. Ambrose with a running forearm/bulldog to Rowan. Ambrose with a flying elbow drop for a two count. Ambrose with a slingshot to Bray. Ambrose with a suicide dive that sends Rowan back first to the barricade. Rowan with a roundhouse kick to Ambrose for a two count. Rowan tags in Bray. Bray with a running senton to Ambrose. Ambrose rolls Bray up for a two count. Ambrose with the Lunatic Lariat to Bray. Ambrose tags in Reigns. Reigns with running clothesline to Harper. Reigns with a series of corner clotheslines. Reigns with a big boot to the face of Harper, but Rowan breaks up the count at two. Ambrose clotheslines Rowan over the top rope.
Jericho with a springboard dropkick that sends Bray to the outside. Jericho and Ambrose with springboard planchas onto the Wyatt’s on the outside. Reigns with an uppercut to Strowman. Reigns with a Superman Punch to Harper. Harper rolls Reigns up for a two count. Reigns with a Superman Punch to Harper. Strowman rolls Reigns to the outside to cause the disqualification. Strowman drives Reigns to the barricade. Strowman launches Jericho over the announce table. Wyatt drags Reigns back into the ring. Bray goes for the Sister Abigail, but Big Show comes out and lays out Harper and Rowan. Big Show have a stare off with Strowman and Rowan/Harper attacks Big Show from behind. Big Show drives Strowman over the top rope. Bray goes for the Sister Abigail to Reigns, but Roman counters with a Superman Punch. Jericho and Ambrose sends Rowan over the top rope. Reigns with a spear to Harper. Reigns, Jericho, Big Show and Ambrose celebrate to end the show.
Winner: Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho via disqualification
