We begin this week’s show with a look at the comments from Seth Rollins before his match with John Cena on Raw. Then we see how things developed during and after the match.
We are in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and your announcers are John ‘Zamboni’ Layfield and Michael ‘Timbits’ Cole.
Rusev makes his way to the ring with Lana and his friendly Russian flag.
Lana says that Roman Reigns is like the impotent leaders of America and Canada, he is all style and no substance. His inferiority will be exposed tonight. Tonight, Mr. Reigns, Rusev will CRUSH
Roman’s music stops Lana’s comments and Roman makes his way through the crowd to the ring. Roman has a mic.
Reigns says that Lana would love to stare at him all night, but Roman says that he is a businessman and he will get to the point. Rusev thinks that this is his ring? This is Roman’s ring. Rusev thinks that he can crush him? Rusev thinks that he can beat Reigns tonight? Rusev needs to think again. Roman says that he has a hair trigger and if Rusev makes a move, Roman will put his fist across Rusev’s face so fast.
Lana says that this is the typical crass behavior of an American swine. She tells Roman to be careful what he wishes for.
Roman asks Lana if she is telling him to be careful. He says that he assesses and he attacks. All he needs is a referee so he can attack and kick Rusev’s ass.
Rusev and Reigns get face to face and a referee comes to the ring. The referee tells Rusev and Lana to leave the ring, but Lana will not do things on Reigns’ terms. Lana and Rusev leave the ring so the match will take place later in the show.
AJ Lee skips in the back and we go to commercial.
We are back and Cameron checks her make up while her opponent makes her way to the ring.
It is official that AJ Lee will defend the Divas Title against Paige.
Cameron vs. WWE Divas champion AJ Lee in a non-title match
Cameron finishes her make up after the bell rings. Cameron attacks AJ and punches her and gets a near fall. Cameron slams AJ’s head into the mat. Cameron puts some make up on AJ and then Cameron chokes AJ in the ropes. Cameron traps the arms and she applies Cattle Mutilation on AJ.
AJ drops down and gets a near fall with a rollup. Cameron with a drop kick for a near fall. Cameron pie faces AJ and then AJ gets that crazy look on her face. AJ blocks a slap and she pulls Cameron to the mat. AJ with an Irish whip and splash into the corner followed by a neck breaker. AJ grabs Cameron by the hair and skips around the ring and then she hits a round kick for a near fall.
Cameron says that she has had enough and she leaves the ring. Cameron’s escape is thwarted by Naomi who comes out and she sends Cameron back into the ring. AJ pulls Cameron away from the ropes and AJ with a Shining Wizard for the three count.
Winner: AJ Lee
Renee Young is in the interview area with Randy Orton. Renee asks Randy about what happened on Raw when Kane said that he hates Orton. Randy says that he does not care what Kane says. He cares that Kane does what is best for business and that is walking out of Battleground as Champion.
Chris is an old opponent of his. Chris has done everything in the WWE. Some say that Chris is a legend. Randy says that the only thing left is to introduce Jericho to the Legend Killer.
We go to commercial.
Adam Rose w/ Summer Rae and the Exotic Express vs. Fandango w/ Layla El
Both men dance their way around the ring before locking up and Rose with a side head lock. Rose floats over and he spanks Fandango. Fandango punches Rose and then Summer and Layla start a hockey fight by the announce table.
Fandango tries to break up the fight but they hit Fandango. Fandango tries to separate them but the referee gets to ten and Fandango is counted out.
Winner: Adam Rose (by count out)
After the match, Fandango gets in Rose’s face and Rose gives Fandango the Party Foul.
We take a look at Chris Jericho’s match with the Miz and the interruption by Bray Wyatt.
Renee Young is in the interview area with Chris Jericho. Renee asks Chris about his match at Battleground. Chris says that this match has the potential to be a classic. Two people from the opposite sides of the spectrum. Chris Jericho, a six time World Champion. Bray Wyatt, manipulative, a big black spider that suffocates everything in its way.
Chris says that he cannot save Wyatt. He is too far gone. He is nothing like he has faced before. Chris says that he will take action tonight against Randy Orton. Randy is one of his toughest opponents and a legend. It is time to crush the head of the serpent. He will squash Wyatt like the bug that he is. He will see Wyatt at Battleground.
The Usos walk in the back and we go to commercial.
We are back and we have a Tag Title Match at Battleground. The Usos will defend against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan in a two out of three falls match.
Heath Slater and Titus O’Neil vs. WWE tag team champions the Usos in a non-title match
Titus and Jimmy start things off and Slater distracts Jimmy and Titus hits Jimmy from behind. Titus with a short arm clothesline and Titus barks. Slater tags in and he kicks Jimmy and punches him. Jimmy with punches and a chop. Slater with a side heel kick and he gets a near fall. Slater with a reverse chin lock.
Slater with forearms to the back but Jimmy with a pop up Samoan drop for a near fall. Jey with a thrust kick to Titus and then Slater sends Jey to the floor. Jimmy with a super kick to Slater as Slater comes off the turnbuckles and then Jey is tagged in and he hits a Superfly Splash for the three count.
Winners: Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso
After the match, Byron Saxton interviews the Usos and he mentions the match at Battleground. Jimmy says that he is loving this rivalry with the Usos. Jimmy says that they have never been in a two out of three fall match.
Jey does his best attempt at commentary for a possible match between the Usos and the Wyatts.
Randy Orton and Chris Jericho walk in the back as we go to commercial.
We are back and before the next match, Bray Wyatt appears on the TitanTron and he tells Chris to save us. Bray starts to sing.
Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton
They lock up and Orton with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Jericho with a drop kick and then he kicks Orton in the corner. Orton rolls to the floor and he tries to get into Jericho’s head. Jericho with a springboard drop kick that knocks Orton off the apron and we go to commercial.
We are back and Jericho chokes Orton in the ropes. Jericho with a splash to the back and then he gets a near fall. Orton with a kick followed by a kick to the ribs and a clothesline in the corner. Orton stomps on the ankle and then he chokes Jericho with his boot. Jericho chops Orton.
Jericho with an Irish whip and Orton moves in the corner when Jericho tries for a splash. Jericho goes to the floor. Orton follows Jericho to the floor and Orton sends Jericho into the ring steps. Orton Irish whips Jericho into the ring steps. Orton with a back drop driver onto the ringside barrier.
Orton rolls Jericho back into the ring and Orton gets a near fall. Orton poses and Jericho with a rollup for a near fall. Orton with a clothesline and he gets a near fall. Orton with a reverse chin lock. Jericho gets back to his feet. Jericho with an elbow and chop. Orton sends Jericho to the mat and then Orton poses again.
Orton with a boot to the midsection and he drives his boot into the chest. Orton with a near fall. Orton returns to the reverse chin lock. Jericho with a belly-to-back suplex. Orton with kicks and Jericho with chops. Jericho with a running forearm and shoulder tackle but Orton sends Jericho over the top rope. Jericho lands on the apron and he goes up top and hits a chop to the top of the head.
Jericho with a double leg take down and he tries for the Walls of Jericho but Orton punches him. Orton with a power slam for a near fall. Orton kicks Jericho in the chest followed by an Irish whip but Jericho floats over and hits an enziguri and Jericho gets a near fall. Jericho kicks Orton and Jericho with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner. Jericho goes up top and Orton hits the ropes and it crotches Jericho.
Orton punches Jericho and Orton sets for a superplex but Jericho blocks it. Jericho with a head butt to knock Orton to the mat. Jericho goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall. Both men are down.
Jericho chops Orton and misses a punch but Orton with a back breaker. Orton sends Jericho to the apron for the IEDDT but Jericho is able to counter and he takes Orton to the mat and he applies the Walls of Jericho. Orton reaches for the ropes and he succeeds. Orton drops down when Jericho charges at him. Orton with a kick to Jericho and then he hits the IEDDT.
Orton looks around and then he twists to the mat and sets for the RKO. Jericho blocks the RKO and then Jericho with a Lionsault but the Wyatt Graphic shows up. The lights come back on and Orton hits the RKO for the three count.
Winner: Randy Orton
We go to commercial.
We are back and we see why the next match is happening.
Summer Rae vs. Layla El (Guest referee: Fandango)
Before the match starts, Layla wants to show the referee a little something and she kisses Fandango. Summer decides that what is good for the goose is good for the gander and she kisses Fandango.
The bell rings and Fandango holds Layla back. Summer tries to go after Layla but he holds Summer back. Layla and Summer decide to shun Fandango’s dance request and they both attack Fandango. Fandango gets out of the ring and he runs to the ramp for safety.
Result: No contest
After the match, Layla and Summer both dance in the ring. Summer offers her hand and Layla and Summer dance together.
We go to commercial.
Curtis Axel w/ Ryback vs. Goldust w/ Stardust
They lock up and Goldust with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Axel misses a clothesline and Goldust with a punch. Axel goes into the ropes and then he punches Goldust and hits a clothesline to the back of the head. Axel kicks Goldust and Goldust with a rollup for a near fall. Axel with punches while Stardust does stuff on the ringside barrier.
Axel with a drop kick and Goldust goes to the floor. Stardust lies on the announce table and Axel is distracted. Goldust with a punch and Axel with a punch. Goldust with a reverse atomic drop but Axel with a clothesline. Axel charges at Goldust and Goldust with a power slam for a near fall.
Axel with a kick and he tries for the fisherman’s suplex but Goldust blocks it Goldust hits the Final Cut for the three count.
Winner: Goldust
After the match, Ryback gets Goldust up for the marching musclebuster but Stardust blows some dust in Ryback’s face. Ryback charges at Stardust and Ryback goes over the top rope to the floor when Stardust drops down.

We are back with a look at what happened on Raw between Bo Dallas and El Torito.
Before the next match, Bo says that tonight he is in a handicap match. Tonight, he will be handicap-able. What the Matador and his BOVINE friend do not know is that all of you are his tag team partners . . . all of his BOLIEVERS.
Bo Dallas vs. El Torito and Diego in a “2-on-1” handicap match
Bo and Diego start off and Diego avoids Bo and he does the ole! They lock up and Diego with a side head lock. Diego holds on to the ropes and he oles! Diego with a leg sweep for a near fall. Bo with a forearm and he sends Diego into the turnbuckles. Bo with punches. Diego with a drop kick and he Oles. Bo swings at Torito but misses. Diego misses a splash into the corner and Bo with a BoDog for the three count.
Winner: Bo Dallas
After the match, Bo brings Torito into the ring since he did not participate in the match. Bo checks to see if Torito is okay. Bo says that Torito is hurt. Bo picks up Torito and he hits a BoDog.
We go to commercial.
We are back and The Authority returns on Raw. We have a six man tag match on Raw. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and John Cena will face Kane, Seth Rollins, and Randy Orton.
Rusev w/ Lana vs. Roman Reigns
They lock up and they try to gain the early advantage but they go to a stalemate. Rusev with kicks to Reigns as he backs Reigns into the corner. Rusev says something to Reigns and Reigns with punches and then he climbs the turnbuckles and punches Rusev and then he punches Rusev, sending him to the floor. Rusev gets on the apron and Reigns punches Rusev off the apron again.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Rusev works on the neck with a nerve hold. We see footage of Rusev sending Reigns into the ring steps during the commercial break. Reigns punches Rusev and Rusev with a leaping spinning heel kick. Rusev with knees and kicks in the corner. Rusev with a round kick to the chest and then he stands over Reigns.
Rusev with head butts to the collarbone and then he returns to the nerve hold. Reigns gets to his feet but Rusev pulls Reigns to the mat by the hair and Rusev with a series of diving head butts and then he kicks Reigns in the back.
Rusev taunts Reigns but Reigns with head butts. Rusev with a knee and Reigns goes back to the mat. Rusev with a hard Irish whip and he follows with another hard Irish whip. Rusev with a kick to the midsection and then he taunts Reigns some more. Rusev with another kick to the ribs. Rusev returns to the nerve hold. Reigns powers up and he knocks Rusev away.
Reigns with punches in the corner. Rusev with an Irish whip and Reigns with a clothesline but Rusev stays on his feet. Reigns with a flying clothesline and then Reigns sets for the running clothesline into the corner and then he hits a Samoan drop. Reigns looks around and he hits the broad jump drop kick from the floor.
Reigns sets for the Superman Punch and he hits it. Randy Orton comes to the ring to stop the spear. Orton drops Reigns on the top rope and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Roman Reigns (by disqualification)
After the match, Rusev with an Irish whip but Reigns with a Superman punch to Orton. Rusev with a jumping thrust kick to Reigns. Lana tells Rusev to leave the ring this time instead of the foot to the spine and Accolade.
Orton looks around and he goes into the ring while Rusev and Lana leave.
Orton looks around and then he twists to the mat to set up for the RKO. Orton hits an RKO on Reigns and we go to credits.
