We begin with a look back at Daniel Bryan’s confrontation with Triple H on Raw as well as his match against Batista.
We are in Detroit, Michigan and your announcers are John Layfield and Michael Cole.
Batista makes his way to the ring to address the crowd.
Batista says last week he came out here in the middle of the ring and he asked a very simple question. Where have all the real men in the WWE gone? The answer he got . . . Dolph Ziggler. Little pretty boy wannabe looking to make a name for himself and his 15 minutes of fame. What happened? He destroyed him, just like that, just like he said.
Last Monday, what does he get? Another one of your heroes. A sawed off goat-faced troll named Daniel Bryan. As you are all aware, the same outcome. He beat Daniel, he destroyed him, and it was that simple. He is no superhero. Batista says that he is the superhero. Batista says that he is the man the people pay to see. He says that he is a humble man so you don’t have to cheer for him.
Daniel Bryan’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Daniel wants to get this straight. Batista thinks that he is the hero? Daniel wants to poll the people. Is Batista a hero? The crowd does not think he is.
Batista says it definitely isn’t Bryan. Everything went wrong when fans were allowed in the locker room. Bryan is an overblown fan. He tells Bryan to go to the box office to buy a ticket to watch him main event Wrestlemania and become the next WWE World Champion.
Bryan says the skinny jeans must be too tight because they must be cutting off the circulation to his brain. Daniel says that Batista did leave him lying, but that was after Orton interfered and he took Orton down. It was after Kane came to the ring and he took Kane down. It was after Triple H got involved and Bryan kicked Hunter. He had Batista beat. Daniel says that he is a fan. He is like everyone else.
If he were Batista, he would be slightly embarrassed that a ‘fan’ nearly took him out on Monday night.
Batista circles Daniel and he tells Bryan never to presume what he thinks. Not only is he bigger, faster, and better looking than Daniel. He is also smarter than Daniel and he will be one step ahead of Bryan. When he set foot in the WWE Universe again, it became his universe. He is being kind enough to let Bryan exist in his universe.
If Bryan continues to mouth off, he will have no problem ending Bryan’s existence in his universe.
Bryan suggests that that might be a threat. He doesn’t want to be a part of a universe where people wear vests like that. He does not want to be part of a universe where people wear sunglasses inside or wear skinny jeans. He does not want to be part of a universe where belly button tattoos are cool. How awesome is a nose ring?

Kane’s pyro goes off and Bryan turns his attention to Kane on the other side of the building and that allows Batista to hit Bryan from behind. Batista with a clothesline and then he kicks Bryan. Kane joins in the attack and they kick Bryan.
Big Show’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring and Kane and Batista leave the ring.
Vickie Guerrero comes out and excuses herself. If you ask her, the four of you are acting like a bunch of animals. Later tonight, you will have the opportunity to settle this like men. Kane and Batista will face Daniel Bryan and The Big Show.

The Shield make their way to the ring. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are the first two to make their way to the ring for this Summit of Shield proportions.
We see what happened last week when Seth Rollins walked away during the rematch of their match at Elimination Chamber against the Wyatt Family.
Dean says that they can handle getting beat up and being hurt. They can handle physical pain, but there is one thing that he cannot handle, tolerate, or keep him up at night. He cannot take being lied to somebody that he trusts.
He feels like they have been lied to for the last 18 months. He thought the Shield had each other’s backs. Apparently Seth Rollins did not have their backs on Monday. He walked out on them in the middle of a war. They are not much for talking now.
Since Seth called for this summit, why not come out. Come out here and tell him a story or tell him a lie. He needs to explain himself and he better do it fast because of the look on Roman’s face.
Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring and he stops on the apron.
Roman tells Seth that before he opens his mouth, he hopes he thought about what to say and he hopes it is good.
Seth says leaving them to face the Wyatts three on two might not have been the best time. The war is not against the Wyatts, but it is among them. The Shield might not be the same, but Seth says that he sacrificed himself to get each other on the same page.
Dean says that he did not realize Seth made such a sacrifice leaving them for dead against the Wyatts. What Seth did was different than what happened to Dean. Dean says that he fought off his opponents while Seth walked off.
Seth tells them to look at each other. They are standing in the same ring on the same page. They are seeing things eye to eye. He is proving his point and he is halfway there.
Seth enters the ring and he says that they can call this right now. They can walk and go their separate ways and they will be fine because they are all talented men. What if ‘fine’ is not good enough? Since they came to the WWE, they have kicked walls down. If they stand together, no one can touch them. Not the Wyatts, not the Undertaker, and not John Cena. They need to do what they know what to do. They need to take this place back.
Dean wants to know if that was it. Is that the great explanation by the architect of the Shield? Dean pushes Seth down but Roman pushes Dean down.
Seth says that he knows what will make this work and make him feel better. Seth slaps Dean in the face. Seth says that he feels a lot better. It felt great. Now that it is out of his system, he is going to let Dean get it out of his system and do what is best for the team.
Ambrose slaps Rollins.
Seth wants to know if they are done here or are they ‘done’?
Seth puts his fist out and Roman hesitates before joining him in the Shield Salute. Dean looks around and he says something before joining the semi-circle of trust.

His father was the war. His brother was the snare that entrapped him and forced him to watch. His mother was the streets that taught him to survive. The world is his teacher. He is what you made him. He does not want to save John Cena. There is nothing left for him to fix. He wants to stand back and lower his hands as it all burns down.
