We are live on tape from Tulsa, Oklahoma and your announcers are Michael ‘Who will be my co-mentor for the WWE Voice’ Cole and Josh ‘You couldn’t show me any love with a gig on Main Event’ Mathews.
The show starts off with Big Show making his way to the ring to discuss his position as the number one contender for the World Title.
He says that he has the opportunity to get the World Title back at Hell in a Cell. On Monday night, Sheamus was joking around and he probably has a plan. Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. They have never met one-on-one so Sheamus has never felt his fist on his skull. Sheamus will be joining a very elite group of victims.
We see a video package of the people Big Show has knocked out with his punch as well as the other damage he has inflicted on wrestlers in the WWE.
Show says that was fantastic and he talks about the people he has knocked out and it is a group of people who have one thing in common. This fist punched every single one of them in the mouth.
Sheamus interrupts Big Show and he makes his way to the ring.
Michael Cole says that some think Sheamus might be taking Big Show too lightly.
Sheamus poses around the ring without looking over his shoulder. Sheamus thanks Show for the heads up. He says that he was joking around on Monday night and he says that their match at Hell in a Cell will be the biggest fight of his life. Sheamus says that he wants to look Show right in the eye and tell him ‘may the best man win’.
Sheamus offers his hand and Show refuses to shake it. Show leaves the ring and walks up the ramp.
Sheamus tells Show that he is right. Everybody has a plan. Daniel Bryan had a plan at the TLC pay per view and let’s take a look at it. We see footage from when Big Show beat Mark Henry to become the World Champion and Daniel Bryan cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase to end Big Show’s title reign.
Sheamus says that was rough. Daniel also had a plan at Wrestlemania. Let’s take a look at the 18 seconds heard round the world when Sheamus won the World Title.
Big Show makes his way back towards the ring. Show offers his hand to Sheamus and Sheamus thinks about it and instead of shaking the hand, he walks past Big Show and up the ramp.
We go to commercial.
We are back and we are told that one of the semifinal matches in the Tag Team Title Number One Contender Tournament will take place on Raw on Monday night.
Match Number One: Kofi Kingston and R Truth vs. Darren Young and Titus O’Neil in a First Round Number One Contender for the Tag Title Tournament Match
Young and Kofi start things off and Kofi with a side head lock. Kofi tries for a monkey flip but Young pushes him off. Kofi with a drop kick for a near fall. Kofi with a front face lock and Truth tags in. Truth and Kofi with a double hip toss. Kofi with a kick to the chest and Truth leaps and does a split before doing the shimmy leg drop for a near fall.
Truth with a punch but Young runs Truth into his corner and Titus tags in. Truth with punches and kicks to Young and O’Neil but Titus with a kick and pump handle gut buster for a near fall. Titus with a kick to the ribs. Titus chokes Truth in the ropes and Young kicks Truth in the face while the referee was not looking.
Titus with a knee but Truth with punches. Titus is able to maintain control of the match and Young is tagged back in. Titus with a gourdbuster of Young onto Truth after Young walks across Truth’s chest. Young gets a near fall. Young with a waist lock and it turns into a bear hug. Young with a knee to the midsection as they continue to focus on the midsection. Truth with a leg lariat and both men are down.
Kofi tags in and hits a springboard forearm to the head. He takes care of Titus on the apron and hits a clothesline on Young followed by a drop kick. Kofi with the Superman punch followed by the Boom Drop. He sets for Trouble in Paradise but Titus distracts Kofi. Truth hits Titus from behind.
Young avoids Trouble in Paradise followed by a leaping side kick. Titus trips Kofi and that allows Young to hit the gutbuster from the shoulders and get the three count.
Winners: Titus O’Neil and Darren Young
Titus and Darren advance to face Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in the second round.
We go to commercial with Titus and Darren doing the Millions of Dollars dance.
Match Number Two: Primo (with Epico and Rosa Mendes) vs. Ryback
Primo with a waist lock but Ryback powers out of the hold and he back body drops Primo. Primo retreats to the ropes and Primo with a side head lock. Ryback with a boot to the chest and then he picks up Primo and drops his head on the mat. Ryback blocks a punch and he drives Primo face first into the mat.
Primo clips the leg and he kicks Ryback and hits a drop kick followed by a forearm. Primo with another drop kick and a front face lock. Ryback gets back to his feet and he picks up Primo and throws him across the ring. Ryback with a lariat followed by a hard Irish whip.
Primo falls to the floor and Epico says that they are done while Rosa screams something. Ryback attacks Epico on the floor and he blocks a punch from Primo and he presses Primo over his head and through the ropes. Ryback with another lariat and he says that it is over and he adds the rope shake and stomp.
Ryback with the marching muscle buster and gets the three count.
Winner: Ryback
CM Punk and Paul Heyman are walking in the back and Paul wants to know where Dolph Ziggler’s room is. They walk into commercial.
Match Number Three: Layla El vs. Alicia Fox
They lock up and Layla with a rollup for a near fall. They lock up again and Layla with an arm drag. Alicia avoids a charge by Layla into the corner and Alicia with a sunset flip but Layla rolls through and hits a drop kick.
Layla with a rollup into a near fall. Alicia blocks a kick and sends Layla to the mat. Alicia with kicks and knees to the hamstring. Alicia sends Layla’s injured knee into the mat. Layla with forearms but Alicia with a kick to the knee followed by a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Alicia with a leg drop to the injured leg followed by a spinning toe hold.
Alicia goes for a modified figure four leg lock while Alicia holds on to the ropes for extra leverage. Layla with kicks to Alicia but Alicia sends Layla into the turnbuckles. Layla with a kick to Alicia when she charges into the corner gingerly. Layla with a double jump cross body. Layla with a round kick for the three count.
Winner: Layla El
After the match, Matt Striker congratulates Layla on her victory and he asks her about getting a rematch against Eve. Layla says that she wishes that Eve would stop scheming for a second so she can tell Eve that the way she won the Divas Championship so much better when she loses it.
Dolph and Vickie are walking out of Dolph’s locker room and they bump into CM Punk and Paul Heyman. Punk tells Dolph to stop avoiding him. Vickie with an excuse me and Punk tells Vickie that he is talking to Dolph and he wants to know if he needs Vickie’s permission. Punk wants to know why Dolph left him high and dry because his old lady screwed up and got ejected.
Dolph points out that Punk and Heyman did the same thing to him a few weeks ago.
Punk tells Vickie to teach Dolph about respect.
Dolph and Punk argue and from out of nowhere, Booker T stops them.
Booker tells Punk that he appreciates him showing up tonight, but he will have to deal with the repercussions if he does something. Booker says that they will settle things in the ring tonight.
We go to commercial.
We are back and in the Goldman Box tonight is Wade Barrett. He says that since he has been back on Smackdown, he has crushed everyone put in front of him. He is amused by how much he can make his opponents suffer at the hand of the Barrett Barrage.
Match Number Four: Wade Barrett vs. Local Competitor
Barrett with a kick to the midsection followed by punches to the ribs while the referee warns him. Barrett avoids a clothesline and connects with a back heel kick. Barrett with a pump handle slam and then he stands on the back of his opponent’s neck. His opponent with a punches but Barrett puts him on the ropes and pushes him to the floor.
Barrett follows to the floor and he sends him back into the ring. Barrett prepares to give his opponent a Souvenir for his match and the three count.
Winner: Wade Barrett
We go to commercial.
Match Number Five: Miz vs. Sheamus in a Champion vs. Champion Non Title Match
They lock up and then Miz with a kick and punches to Sheamus. The referee warns Miz and he backs off. Sheamus sends Miz into the corner and Sheamus with punches and forearms. Sheamus with a back elbow and then he works on the wrist. Sheamus also works on the shoulder and he gets a near fall.
Sheamus grabs Miz and puts him into the ropes but Miz with an elbow. Sheamus gets Miz on his shoulders but Miz gets back to his feet and he sends Sheamus to the floor. Miz with a running knee to the head and Sheamus is sent back to the floor. Miz with another knee to the head and then Miz Irish whips Sheamus into the ring post.
They return to the ring and Miz gets a near fall. Miz with kicks to Sheamus followed by a boot to the head for a near fall. Miz with a rear chin lock but Sheamus with punches to Miz. Miz with the Reality Check for a near fall. Miz with a reverse chin lock.
Sheamus with punches to the midsection. Sheamus with a few double sledges and then he hits the running shoulder into the corner followed by the running knee lift and rolling fireman’s carry slam.
Sheamus sets for the uranage back breaker but Miz with an elbow. Miz with a drop kick to the knees when Sheamus charges into the corner and Miz with a DDT for a near fall. Sheamus backs into the corner and Miz sets for the Awesome Clothesline but Sheamus is able to recover and he hits the uranage back breaker.
Miz is on the apron and Sheamus with the ten crossfaces. Sheamus brings Miz back in and sets for White Noise and he hits it. Sheamus looks around and it is time to channel the spirits for the Brogue Kick.
Big Show’s music plays and he makes his way down the ramp. Sheamus does not realize that Show takes some time to get to the ring, but Miz is not in a condition to make a sneak attack.
Show looks around and he punches Miz to get Sheamus disqualified.
Winner: Miz (by disqualification)
After the match, Show leaves the ringside area and points to his fist.
We go to commercial.
We are back and David Otunga is in the ring and he introduces himself. He is here to talk on behalf of the WWE locker room. He mentions an incident that occurred after Smackdown went off the air. We see Alberto Del Rio’s attack on Randy Orton in and out of the ring.
On behalf of the WWE locker room, he wants to say thank you to Alberto Del Rio because Randy Orton has been a menace for more than a decade. He thanks Alberto for standing up to Randy.
Before David can continue, Randy Orton’s music plays but it is Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez. Del Rio makes his way to the ring in a very Vipery manner and even does Orton’s pose on the turnbuckles.
Alberto mocks Orton’s promo style and then he says that Orton would not be in the same building as him. He would end up on the floor, crying like a dying dog . . . like a dying snake. He cut off the head of that snake. Alberto says that he never lies. He is the new Apex Predator in the WWE.
Booker T’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage.
Booker wants to make sure that he understands what Del Rio said. Booker asks Alberto if he has some free time on his schedule tonight. Booker suggests a tag team match for Alberto and David. They will face . . . Kane and Daniel Bryan.
Match Number Six: Daniel Bryan and Kane vs. David Otunga and Alberto Del Rio (with Ricardo Rodriguez)
Bryan and Otunga start things off and they lock up. Otunga with a slam and then he poses. They lock up again and Bryan with kicks to Otunga. Bryan with a running clothesline and then he hits the running drop kick into the corner. Bryan poses because he am the Tag Team Champions. He poses for Kane and Otunga tries to attack him from behind but Bryan goes for the No Lock. Otunga goes to the apron and he pulls Bryan’s arm into the ropes.
Otunga with a neck breaker for a near fall. Del Rio tags in and he kicks Bryan in the ribs. Del Rio with more kicks and the referee warns him. Del Rio with a suplex for a near fall. Del Rio with a reverse chin lock. Bryan with elbows to Del Rio followed by a sunset flip for a near fall.
Del Rio with a clothesline and a near fall. Del Rio sends Bryan into the turnbuckles but Bryan with a drop toe hold that sends Del Rio into the turnbuckles. Kane tags in and he connects with a boot to the head and Irish whips and clotheslines into the corner followed by a side slam for a near fall.
Kane goes up top and hits the clothesline. Kane signals for the choke slam and he tells Bryan not to make the tag. Del Rio hits Kane from behind and Bryan goes to the floor. Del Rio with a step up enzuigiri for a near fall.
Otunga makes the blind tag and he hits the World’s Most Dangerous Spinebuster but only gets a two count. Kane grabs Otunga by the throat and Kane with a choke slam. Bryan tags in and he hits the diving head butt for the three count.
Winners: Kane and Daniel Bryan
After the match, Kane and Daniel Bryan argue who Am the Tag Team Champions.
Eve enters Booker T’s office and Teddy Long is in there and he tells Eve to drop the act. They argue over the decision to suspend Beth Phoenix. Eve says that people who are Teddy’s age can get forgetful. Teddy says that he heard Layla.
Eve says that Layla is bitter.
Teddy says that he knows that Eve had something to do with Kaitlyn’s attack. Teddy says that Booker is inexperienced and if he was in charge . . .
Booker enters and he reminds Teddy that he is in charge. He asks Eve to leave.
Booker asks Teddy if he is jealous of Eve.
Booker says that he will not have Teddy and Eve bickering. Booker says that he has some business to take care of so he has to do.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Seven: Big Show vs. Tensai
They lock up and Tensai with forearms but Show with a head butt. Tensai with head butts and forearms to Show in the corner followed by an uppercut. Show with a chop to the chest and then he chops Tensai again. Show runs into a boot from Tensai. Show sends Tensai to the floor and Show follows.
Tensai with a kick but Show with a shoulder tackle. Show sends Tensai back into the ring and he misses an elbow drop. Tensai hits the back senton and he gets a near fall. Tensai misses a charge into the corner and Show with a flying shoulder tackle. Show winds up for the punch and Sheamus’ music plays.
Sheamus runs to the ring and he connects with a Brogue Kick on Tensai to get Show disqualified.
Winner: Tensai (by disqualification)
After the match, Sheamus leaves the ring after laughing at Show.
Show continues to stare at the stage and then he screams as we go to the Raw Rebound.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Eight: CM Punk (with Paul Heyman) vs. Dolph Ziggler (with Vickie Guerrero)
Dolph and Punk have something to say to each other before locking up. Punk pushes Ziggler and Ziggler pushes back. Punk pushes him again and Ziggler pushes back one more time. Punk with a side head lock. Ziggler with a top wrist lock and side head lock of his own.
Ziggler with a shoulder tackle and drop kick. Ziggler tries for the sleeper but Punk was in the ropes. Punk tries to get Ziggler up for the Go To Sleep but Ziggler gets to his feet and we go to commercial.
We are back and Punk with a waist lock take down. Ziggler gets back to his feet and he applies another side head lock and he takes Punk to the mat. Punk with a head scissors on Ziggler but Ziggler escapes and he applies a side head lock. Punk with a belly-to-back suplex to escape. Punk and Ziggler fight on the turnbuckles and exchange punches and forearms. They knock each other off the turnbuckles and they fall to the floor.
Heyman checks on Punk while Vickie checks on Dolph.
Both men struggle to get back into the ring but they both make it in before the ten count. Ziggler punches Punk but Punk with a rollup for a near fall. Ziggler with a rollup and a handful of tights for a near fall. Punk argues with the referee and that allows Ziggler to hit a leaping DDT and get a near fall.
Ziggler tries for the Fameasser but misses. Punk misses a round kick. Ziggler with a Fameasser for a near fall. Ziggler with a front face lock but Punk with a round kick to the head but he can only get a two count. Punk with the running knee into the corner and he hits a short arm clothesline and gets a near fall.
Punk with a slam to Ziggler and then he goes up top for the elbow drop but he takes too long looking around and Ziggler with a punch to stop Punk. Ziggler press slams Punk to the mat and then Ziggler misses a splash into the corner. Punk with the Go To Sleep for the three count.
Winner: CM Punk
After the match, Punk gets on the announce table and poses with the title belt and he has a mic. Punk says that he has heard it from Bret Hart, Jim Ross, and everyone. He knows what everyone wants and he knows what he has to do. He has thought long and hard and he says that everyone wants to see him and John Cena at Hell in a Cell.
Punk says that he knows what he has to do is get respect at Hell in a Cell. CM Punk steps in the ring with John Cena. At Hell in a Cell, CM Punk will not step foot in the ring with John Cena.
