IN RING SEGMENT
Randy Orton made his way down to the ring. Orton got on the microphone and said that when Teddy Long told him that he would be captaining a Survivor Series team, I told him that I wasn’t really a team player as every time he has teamed up in the past has blown up in the past usually because he did something horrible. However, he has no problem being a captain, as he has no problem giving Cody the beating of his life again and finally shutting Christian up once and for all. He went on to say that he doesn’t know Jack Swagger all to well and he does not know Hunico at all but that won’t stop him from beating them. Just then Wade Barrett’s music hit, and out came Barrett to the ring cutting him off saying that Orton has a huge problem with Barrett, as in the past he has been a large problem but it will pale in comparison to the problem he will be at Survivor Series. Barrett continued on saying that the two of them have both been parts of groups in the past but Barrett never started out as the leader of any of them, he became the leader because he is that dominant. Barrett then said that Orton is a natural predator, which is why no one ever trusts him, or will ever trust him. Barrett has been on a winning streak for a few weeks now and he said that it would continue through Survivor Series because the one thing Barrett has not accomplished yet in the WWE is become the World Heavyweight Champion and to do that he needs to take Orton out of the picture and that is why his team will win at Survivor Series. Wade then asked if Orton was even paying attention to him, in which he replied that he wasn’t he was too busy imagining how high Barrett’s head would bounce off the mat after an RKO. At this point Christian’s music hit and Christian came out to the ramp with a microphone in hand and a neck brace on. Christian started off saying that Orton needs to get real as he will be to his group what Yoko Ono was to the Beatles. Christian continued saying that he knows everyone is wondering why he is wearing the neck brace and that is because last week Big Show gave him a Chokeslam for no apparent reason. He went on to say that he is out here to say thank you to Wade Barrett because not only did he help out by taking on Sheamus last week he also beat him. Now Teddy Long originally offered the captain’s spot but he declined knowing that he has health concerns and so being a natural leader and knowing that Barrett is as well gave Long his recommendation for Barrett to be the captain and they are all equals. Christian then said that maybe they should use this time to make a statement not just to Orton but to the whole team, which then led Orton to strike both men. Then the two on one assault began with Barrett and Christian double teaming Orton. Sheamus then ran down to the ring clearing it of Barrett and Christian. As the two men walk back up the ramp Teddy Long’s music hit and out he came saying that since the only thing wrong with Christian’s neck and back is that he is spineless he is going to face Sheamus next like he should have last week. Long then said that in the main event the two captains will be squaring off as Randy Orton will take on Wade Barrett in singles competition.
SINGLES MATCH
Sheamus defeated Christian: Sheamus won with the Celtic Cross.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
AJ Lee and Kaitlyn were backstage with Daniel Bryan. Both of the divas were talking to him about his match last week with Henry, and that is when Kaitlyn asked Bryan why he was going to cash his MITB briefcase when he said he was going to do that at Wrestlemania. Bryan replied that he was out on his feet and didn’t even know what was going on at that point. The good news was though that he has a re-match this week with Henry. AJ then said that she had gotten so excited last week thinking that he was going to become the new champion, which Bryan became puzzled and asked really? Daniel then quickly turned around as Mark Henry came up to him. Henry said the Bryan must think that it is that simple to become the World Heavyweight Champion, it isn’t it took him fifteen years to get it, so he wants to tell Bryan something now, Daniel then cut him off saying no he has something to tell Mark Henry. He won Money in the Bank, and if Mark Henry is still champion at Wrestlemania he will beat him there. The two then stare at each other and Henry finally said that he has to admit Bryan has some guts, just a shame he will have to spill them guts all over the ring later tonight, and then he walked off.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Teddy Long was in his office with Charles Robinson commending him on the good work he has been doing officiating, and that he wants him to be on the top of his game tonight with the Uso’s match. Robinson leaves and the lighting changed as romantic music played and in entered Aksana. She said that she had a great time with Teddy on Halloween and he agrees that he did as well but she has been talking about it two for weeks now. Teddy then said that he wants her first time on Smackdown to be special and she agrees asking who will be first, Teddy then calmed her down saying that he wanted to get some more seasoning first so she will be in the corner of this diva, and in came Alicia Fox, who Aksana mistook for Rihanna. Aksana then said that Teddy was her umbrella and kissed him on his cheek. She walked off and Teddy starred after her until Alicia snapped her fingers in front of his face and yelled his name. Teddy then apologized and wished Alicia luck in her match tonight as she walked off with a bright smile.
SINGLES MATCH
Ted DiBiase defeated Jinder Mahal: DiBiase won with Dream Street.
SINGLES MATCH
Mark Henry defeated Daniel Bryan: Henry won with the World’s Strongest Slam.
IN RING SEGMENT
Mark Henry after the match went to ringside and grabbed a steel chair. Henry went back into the ring to put the chair on Bryan’s ankle like he has done in the past but instead Bryan countered with a kick. Bryan then picked up the chair and hit Henry with it to no effect. Bryan went to hit him again but instead Henry reversed it into a World’s Strongest Slam. Henry then gave Bryan another slam for good measure. Henry then put Bryan’s ankle in the chair and as he got up to the top rope Big Show’s music hit. Henry quickly got down and grabbed the chair for defense, but before Show got to the ring Henry hit Bryan one last time with the chair. Henry went to hit Show with the chair but the Big Show just punched the chair out of Mark Henry’s hands. Henry then ran out of the ring as Show got in. Show then took a microphone and said that he wasn’t impressed with Henry beating someone half his size and that Mark should watch his match to really be impressed.
THREE ON ONE HANDICAP MATCH
Big Show defeated three local wrestlers: Big Show won with the WMD.
IN RING SEGMENT
Mark Henry standing at the top of the ramp took a microphone and asked the Big Show if he was supposed to be impressed by that because he wasn’t. He knows that Big Show is impressed with him, just as he was last week when he hit him with the world’s strongest slam and just like he impressed the world when he became champion. Henry then left the stage leaving an enraged Big Show in the ring.
DIVAS MATCH
Alicia Fox defeated Tamina: Fox won with a Leg Drop.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Matt Striker was backstage with Sheamus. Striker said that it seems that a lot of people think that Sheamus is getting the reputation of being a hothead. They then cut to the brawl backstage after Sheamus’s match. Sheamus replied that he doesn’t know what people are talking about he is genuinely a nice guy as he was hanging out with Justin Beiber at the MTV Europe Awards and his cousin Beaker from the Muppets. Striker then said but in the past Sheamus has proven to be a hothead. Sheamus then stares Striker down for a moment before smiling and said lets just call it being spirited. Sheamus then walked away leaving a shaken Matt Striker.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Hunico and Epico defeated the Usos: Hunico won with a Swanton Bomb.
SINGLES MATCH
Wade Barrett defeated Randy Orton: Barrett won with a roll up.
