IN THE RING
Theodore Long + Christian: Teddy said there was a controversial decision made at Capitol Punishment and he needed Christian to come down to the ring. Christian said he deserves another shot. Teddy showed everyone what happened at the PPV. Teddy said the referee made a bad call but the refs decision is final. Christian asked why the hell he apologized to the WWE Universe when he was the one who was screwed. Christian said he deserves another shot especially because Orton smashed him in the head with the belt after the match. Teddy said he agrees Orton’s actions were wrong but it depends on whether or not Christian earns another title match. Christian didn’t think he needed to prove himself again. Teddy said if he wants another chance he has to win his match tonight against Kane.
SINGLES MATCH
Sin Cara defeated Ted DiBiase: Sin won with the head scissors into a face plant.
SINGLES MATCH
Cody Rhodes w/Ted DiBiase defeated Daniel Bryan: Cody said he loved chocolate and Hershey was responsible for producing more chocolate than anywhere else in the world which in turn makes everyone in the planet fat and ugly. Cody asked if they saw the irony that a place all about chocolate is full of vanilla bleak plain expressions. Cody said as a service to all of them he brought paper bags. Daniel Bryan came out. Daniel said he hates to interrupt but he was sick of it. Daniel said he may never be on the cover of GQ but even he knows that a cup doesn’t belong on your face. Daniel said Cody seriously needs to learn that looks aren’t everything. Cody said that sounds like something an ugly person would say. Daniel showed a picture of Dusty Rhodes. Daniel said Dusty isn’t the most attractive person on the earth but he was inspiring charismatic and a good guy, all things Cody is not. Daniel said Cody is a bitter, arrogant jerk who realizes that he will never live up to the standards of his father. Cody won the match with Cross Rhodes.

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Matt Striker & The Big Show + Mark Henry: Matt asked The Big Show for an update on his condition. Show said he was fine. Matt asked Show about knocking Henry out before Capitol Punishment. Show said Mark Henry was in the wrong place at the wrong time and it could have happened to anyone. Matt said it was unwarranted and he lit a fire under Mark Henry. Mark charged in and knocked show through the set.
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH
Ezekiel Jackson defeated Wade Barrett to retain the WWE Intercontinental title: Ezekiel tapped Wade with the torture rack.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Scott Stanford & Randy OrtonL Scott asked Randy how he feels about Christian getting another #1 contenders match. Randy said this is borderline comical and he is laughing inside. Randy said if Christian beats Kane tonight he’ll face him, but the closest Christian ever gets to that title is when he nails him in the head with it.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Wade Barrett & Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater: Wade was walking through the back when Justin and Heath came over to him clapping and making fun of him. Wade said he has much bigger and better plans for himself and asked where the hell they’ve been. Justin said they’re going out there to win a rematch, something he cant do.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel defeated Jimmy & Jey Uso: Heath put up his knees to counter a splash, and rolled up Jimmy for 3.
SINGLES MATCH
Jinder Mahal w/The Great Khali vs. Yoshi Tatsu never got started: Jinder and Khali beat up Yoshi and threw him out of the ring. Jinder said this was a prime example of what one of the worlds most powerful man is capable of. Jinder said this will continue until his potential is recognized. Jinder said he never had to strive to be the best because he was born the best. Jinder said there would be no more dancing or kissing fat chicks, Khali has had a rebirth. Jinder said Khali’s only mission now is to serve.
SINGLES MATCH
Kane defeated Christian by DQ: Mark Henry hit the ring and attacked Kane after a long match, giving him the victory by DQ. Christian got in Mark’s face for screwing up the match. Teddy came out and said he understands it wasn’t Christian’s fault he lost so he’s going to give him another chance. Teddy said he could have another opportunity if he could win a tag match.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Christian & Mark Henry defeated World Heavyweight champion Randy Orton & Kane: Randy managed to hit Christian with the RKO but was then hit with a World’s Strongest Slam by Mark Henry for 3.
