General Manager Theodore Long + Batista + Rey Mysterio: Todd Grisham said Theodore Long is slowly becoming one of the most controversial General Manager’s of all time. Matt Striker said Batista should be the World Heavyweight champion. Long talked about the Undertaker successfully defending his championship against Batista at the TLC PPV. Long said they would determine a new number one contender tonight, but he was quickly interrupted by a bitter Batista. Batista said there was no need to look for a new number one contender, because the number one contender was right there. Batista said he told Long to make it right, and this was not making it right. Batista told Long to make it right, adding that it was the last time he was going to tell him. Batista said Long was going to give him another title shot and make it right. Batista threatened to go pick up a chair. Suddenly Rey Mysterio showed up to put a stop to Batista’s bullying of the General Manager. Mysterio challenged Batista to a number one contenders match. Mysterio said you don’t have to be all jacked up with muscle to be a champion. Mysterio said Batista was nothing but a bully. Mysterio said Batista always saw him as a little guy, and never took the time to look inside of him. Mysterio said, unlike Batista, he has heart! Mysterio said the best way to get back at Batista is to make sure he never holds the World Heavyweight title again. Batista said he would be happy to beat up Mysterio again. Long booked the match, but clarified that it would be a straight up wrestling match, where someone can lose by pinfall, submission, or disqualification. Long said next week the winner will get an early Christmas present and face the Undertaker for the World title!
TAG TEAM MATCH
Drew McIntyre & C.M. Punk & Luke Gallows defeated John Morrison & Matt Hardy & R-Truth: C.M. Punk whacked Matt Hardy in the “surgically repaired” abdomin with his Slammy award to help pick up the pinfall and the victory!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Mickie James & Maria Kanellis were sitting there playing the “SmackDown! vs. RAW” video game when they were unplugged by Beth Phoenix. Mickie was wearing a disgusting dress and had a terrible hairdo. I swear there is a conspiracy to make her look like turd, cause she really is beautiful in real life. Beth Phoenix said this goofing off was exactly why Mickie didn’t win the Women’s title at TLC. Beth addressed Maria and said she won the Diva of the Year last year because she was hungry for competition. There was some more back-and-forth talking, and Beth said she was going to make sure Maria’s return to SmackDown! is short-lived.

Eric Escobar + Vickie Guerrero: Eric Escobar cut a promo against Vickie Guerrero but I couldn’t understand what he was trying to say. Vickie showed up and said she was sick and tired of Escobar saying inconsiderate things about her. Vickie said she knows it is his birthday so she got him a birthday present……. KANE!
SINGLES MATCH
Kane defeated Eric Escobar: After the match, Vickie Guerrero got in the ring and started laughing like a crow at Eric Escobar. Vickie said maybe next time Escobar will chose his words more wisely. Escobar agreed, saying he has talked himself into a lot of brutual beatings in the last few weeks. Escobar said tomorrow he is going to wake up very sore tomorrow, but still ready to fight another day, but Vickie was going to wake up still looking like “that.” Vickie wanted the microphone back so she could defend herself, but Escobar refused and took the microphone with him!

Chris Jericho: Chris Jericho said that he was unfairly ejected from RAW on a legal loophole, because he and the Big Show never lost their rematch against DX for the Unified Tag Team titles. Jericho called it the biggest screwjob in WWE history. Jericho said it was not over, because he will leave RAW when he wants to leave RAW and not a minute earlier. Jericho claimed he was being punished for being the best in the world at what he does. Jericho said the worst part was his partner (Big Show) left him to fend for himself. Jericho said it was one of the worst moments of his life, and the people love to see him down and out. Jericho promised that it was not over, and he would continue doing what he does best, being the face of SmackDown!. Jericho was then interrupted by the Great Khali.
SINGLES MATCH
The Great Khali w/Ranjin Singh defeated Chris Jericho by Countout: Midway through the match, Chris Jericho was thrown out of the ring and he decided to walk out and get himself intentionally counted out..
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd w/Natalya Neidhart) defeated Jimmy Wang Yang & Slam Master J: The Hart Dynasty each got to speak about their match with DX next week for the Unified Tag Team titles. Each member of the Hart Dynasty had their own microphone, which makes me wonder why Vickie couldn’t get a second microphone earlier..
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT: Michelle McCool (w/Layla El) talked to Beth Phoenix about joining forced to get Piggy James off of SmackDown!. Michelle & Layla blurted out a series of insults at the expense of Mickie James. Beth Phoenix said “who would want to see a big girl shut your mouths in a big way?”

Rey Mysterio defeated Batista: It started out as a game of cat and mouse, but eventually Batista took over and dominated his former best friend. Rey Mysterio made a few brief comebacks, but Batista squashed each charismatic attempt. Batista went in for the kill with a Spine-buster, but Mysterio reversed it into a quick pinfall to pick up a major upset victory! Rey Mysterio will face the Undertaker for the World Heavyweight title next week!
