The Undertaker + World Heavyweight champion C.M. Punk (on stage): The Undertaker promised to win the World Heavyweight title and cast his shadow over SmackDown! again. Undertaker said that Punk has been waking up in the middle of the night in a puddle of his own blood, consumed by his own fear. Undertaker said Punk knows that his breaking point will be realized when he feels the grip of Hell’s Gate. Undertaker said submission was the only alternative to an eternity of pain. Undertaker said when Punk submits, not only will he relinguish the World Heavyweight title, but he will personally hand over his soul (and thus the symphony of lies shall end). C.M. Punk came out and said if that wasn’t the pot calling the kettle black, he didn’t know what was. Punk called Jeff Hardy the people’s “Charismatic Enabler,” but added that Undertaker has preyed on their chemically influenced minds for almost twenty years. Punk said Undertaker has created a self-destructive cycle because all these people actually believe in the Undertaker. Punk said Undertaker has beaten the Hogans, Flairs, then Michaels, and everyone thinks C.M. Punk will be added to the collection of souls. Punk said he was so much stronger than all of those men. Punk said he wasn’t after Undertaker’s soul, he just wants to make him tap out. Punk imagined the reaction of the fans when Undertaker submits to the Anaconda Vice. Punk said the fans will retreat back into their world and crawl into a bottle and pop 3 or 4 extra pain pills to numb themselves from the reality that their hero, the Undertaker, tapped out. Punk said we’ll get a glimpse of it tonight when he makes Matt Hardy tap out to the Anaconda Vice. Punk begged the Undertaker not to interfere, so the people can get a glimpse at the world they will live in after Breaking Point. Punk said there will be one true ICON, the choice of a new generation, the ONLY straight edge World Heavyweight champion in WWE history – ME! Punk said the fans will be forced to join him and JUST SAY NO! Undertaker said Punk they won’t be saying JUST SAY NO, but they will say REST IN PEACE!

Fit Finlay defeated Mike Knox: They used tables, trash cans, and chairs but it was a shot to Mike Knox’s head with the shillelagh that put an end to the match!

Dolph Ziggler & Michelle McCool + Layla El: Dolph Ziggler was looking for Maria Kanellis when he bumped into WWE Diva’s champion Michelle McCool. McCool dropped her crutch and “stumbled” into Ziggler, while Layla El took pictures from a secret hiding place. Ziggler pushed her away and continued his search for Maria..

The Great Khali (w/Ranjin Singh) vs. David Hart Smith (w/Tyson Kidd & Natalya Neidhart) did not start: Before the match could start, Kane showed up and attacked the Great Khali. Kane went after Khali with a Singapore Cane, but Khali stopped him and planted him with the Punjabi-plunge!

Long claimed that he had a huge surprise next week that will change the face of SmackDown!. McMahon wanted to know what he was going to do for him this Sunday at Breaking Point. WWE Intercontinental champion John Morrison defeated Charlie Haas: After the match, John Morrison talked about his title victory last week over Rey Mysterio and showed footage of what happened after the match during his celebration.

WWE Intercontinental champion John Morrison + #1 Contender Dolph Ziggler: John Morrison thanked Rey Mysterio from the bottom of his heart, saying he was a great competitor and whenever he wanted a rematch, all he had to do was ask. Dolph Ziggler came out and said he EARNED a title match against Mysterio, but Morrison got a title match before him. The confrontation escalated and Morrison wanted to have the match immediately. Ziggler said he would have his title match on his terms. Morrison got the fans to chant “Mr. Ziggles” just because Ziggler hated it so much.

NON (WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT) TITLE SUBMISSIONS MATCH
World Heavyweight champion C.M. Punk defeated Matt Hardy by Submission: Long grueling match which ended with Matt Hardy tapping out to the Anaconda Vice! Punk celebrated until the lights went out and Undertaker’s music played. The lights came back on and the World Heavyweight title had disappeared from Punk’s hands and appeared in Undertakers hands at the top of the stage!
