General Manager Vickie Guerrero + WWE Champion Edge + Jeff Hardy + Triple H + Vladimir Kozlov: Vickie Guerrero was out of her wheel chair but still wearing an over-sized neck brace, as she introduced the NEW WWE champion – who just happens to be her husband – Edge! The bearded Edge came out and hugged Vickie and held the WWE championship above his head! Edge said he wasn’t 100% healthy, but he woke up and read about what happened to Jeff Hardy on WWE.com and had to take action into his own hands. Edge said he didn’t want to let Vickie down, and won the WWE championship for her. Vickie called Edge her hero and thanked him for saving her from the irresponsibility of Jeff Hardy. Vickie said this isn’t the first time that Jeff has screwed up. Jeff Hardy ran down to the ring but was held back by a team of security guards positioned around the ring. Triple H came down and knocked over the whole group with one weak forarm, but security prevented him from entering the ring as well. Vladimir Kozlov snuck in from behind and threatened to beat up Edge right now. Vickie booked three Beat the Clock matches featuring Kozlov, Triple H, and Hardy. Vickie said whomever wins in the shortest time will face Edge at Armageddon.
BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE MATCH
Jeff Hardy defeated Brian Kendrick w/Ezekiel Jackson: I thought it was implied that Edge was the mystery assailant who attacked Jeff Hardy before Survivor Series, but they are playing it off like there is an ongoing investigation into the matter. Jeff Hardy won the match and set the time to beat at 12:13.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Eve Torres & ECW Champion Matt Hardy: Matt Hardy said that Edge & Vickie took away Jeff’s opportunity at Survivor Series, so tonight he will do everything in his power to give that opportunity back to his brother.
SIX-DIVAS TAG TEAM MATCH
Victoria & Natalya Neidhart & Maryse Ouellet defeated Michelle McCool & The Bella Twins: Maryse pinned Divas champion Michelle McCool, and Michelle was pissed at the Bella Twins after the match. Maria Kanellis came down to calm the situation but McCool just shoved her down and left with the Divas championship.
BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE MATCH
Vladimir Kozlov failed to Beat The Clock vs. Matt Hardy: Matt Hardy successfully ran out the clock without getting pinned by Vladimir Kozlov – so Jeff Hardy still has the time to beat with 12:13.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Jeff Hardy + Triple H: Jeff Hardy celebrated Matt’s victory, but Triple H came in and they quietly looked into each others eyes.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Jesse & Festus defeated John Morrison & Mike Mizanin by DQ: John Morrison tried to do the trick where he rings the bell during the match to render Festus useless, but Jesse caught him with a clothesline on the floor. Jesse threw Morrison back into the ring and rang the bell again so Festus went on the attack. The Miz grabbed the bell and rang it a third time so Festus was helpless again. Miz & Morrison destroyed Jesse and got disqualified. Miz & Morrison then teased Festus by repeatedly ringing the bell so he would snap in and out of conciousness. It was actually quite funny. The Miz then knocked out Jesse with the bell and dropped it. When he dropped it the bell rang and Festus woke up and chased Miz & Morrison out of the ring.

Mr. Kennedy & Triple H: Mr. Kennedy has grown back that goofy blonde goatee. Triple H was quite confident that he can beat WWE United States champion Shelton Benjamin in less than 12:13..
BEAT THE CLOCK CHALLENGE MATCH
Triple H defeated Shelton Benjamin in a time of 12:13: About ten minutes in, Shelton Benjamin kept leaving the ring in an attempt to run down the clock. Triple H repeatedly threw Benjamin back into the ring, where he would climb out the other side again. Benjamin avoided a Pedigree from Triple H. With 40 seconds left, the referee was accidentally knocked down and Triple H hit a Pedigree but there was no referee. The referee crawled over and with three seconds left he counted the 1-2-3 just as the buzzer went off! Refere Charles Robinson ran down to discuss the situation with referee Mike Keota. They ruled that both matches ended at the exact same time on the clock. Jeff Hardy came down to the ring and Jim Ross asked “which one will face Edge for the WWE Championship at Armageddon?”
