World Heavyweight Champion Gunther and No. 1 Contender Damian Priest go face-to-face

World Heavyweight Champion Gunther makes his way to the ring.

Replay: Last week on Raw, “Big” Bronson Reed destroyed everyone in the Fatal 4-Way Match before putting Seth “Freakin” Rollins through the commentary table. Later in the match, Damian Priest would pin “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio with South of Heaven to become the No. 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Damian Priest will challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series: WarGames.

Gunther stands in the ring, and the crowd boos him a bit. Gunther holds the microphone up before putting it down in disgust. All that matters is he is still the World Heavyweight Champion. He does not live in the past. Gunther looks and sees what is in front of him. What is in front of him is the next challenger for his title, Damian Priest. There are a lot of things he can say about Priest…

“ALL RISE!”

Damian Priest comes out to a nice reception and looks confident as he heads to the ring. Priest tells Gunther not to look surprised. The entire world was told Gunther would be talking about him, so he wanted Gunther to do it to his face. Gunther starts to speak, but Priest cuts him off to guess what he’ll say about him. Gunther is going to say he’s street trash, a Latino bum, his parents didn’t care about him, etcetera. Priest says he wants to explain to Gunther what he sees. Priest understood why people feared Gunther. For the first time in his career, he felt doubt. Priest didn’t think he could beat Gunther, and it sucks to admit it is true. If it weren’t for his so-called brother betraying him, that title wouldn’t be around Gunther’s waist. Once Gunther became champion, his vibe started to fade. It faded because Gunther started doubting himself. Gunther shakes his head in denial. Priest says the vibe faded more in Saudi Arabia because Cody Rhodes pinned him.

Gunther is furious. A “Cody” chant fires up. Priest says Gunther cannot talk because he feels doubt. Gunther knows he can’t beat him. Priest knows the unbeatable killer is dead because he’d have taken a swing at him by now. Priest dares Gunther to take a swing at him. The people don’t want to wait until Survivor Series. Let’s do it now. If Gunther takes a shot, he’ll drop his ass. Gunther is pacing in frustration.

Ludwig Kaiser comes out to the stage and demands to know what is happening. Kaiser asks Priest what he is doing. Kaiser reminds Priest that Gunther has already beaten him. He gets in the ring and advises Priest: get out of the ring and save himself. The next time Priest stands in the ring with Gunther, he’ll beat him once again. Gunther puts a hand over Kaiser’s microphone to stop him from speaking. Gunther starts saying something to him and poking him in the chest. Kaiser pulls himself away from Gunther and calls Priest “street trash.” Priest drops Kaiser with a right hand and clotheslines him over the top rope. Priest turns, and Gunther backs up in fear. Gunther then leaves the ring without further incident. Priest smirks at him. Gunther goes up the ramp with Kaiser, who looks at Gunther suspiciously.
