Edge’s music hits, and the WWE Hall of Famer makes his way to the ring to a huge ovation. Replays are shown of Edge and Rey Mysterio defeating the Judgment Day at WWE Clash at the Castle. After the match, Dominik Mysterio attacked Edge and his father, Rey.
Edge says, “Dominik Mysterio.” He’s known Dominik since he was 5 years old. Edge used to spend time with him in catering. Edge is someone who never grew up and gets along with him. Edge has been like family and slept at their house when he was in San Diego. Edge calmed Dominik down last year before his first match before a live audience. Dominik has been like a nephew to him, but Dominik doesn’t feel the same way. Edge wants to know what’s going on. The Spear was an accident a few weeks ago. His gut told him to take care of it, but his heart overrode his gut. Edge didn’t think he needed to worry about Dom. Not Dom. Edge didn’t come back to get between Dominik and his father. Edge is here to help them. Judgment Day is Edge’s fault and responsibility. After what Dominik did on Saturday, after what he did to him and his father… Edge knows Rey raised Dominik better than that.
Dominik can hash it out however he wants with his father, but he’s a different beast. Edge isn’t looking at him like the kid he watched grow up. He’s looking at Dominik as a WWE Superstar. A man’s game pays a man’s price. Edge calls Dominik out. They’re not going to talk. Edge is going to beat his ass. The crowd gets on their feet. Edge demands Dominik get down here right now.
Rey Mysterio’s music hits, and the father of Dominik Mysterio makes his way to the ring. Rey looks heartbroken and is motioning for Edge to calm down. Rey knows his son messed up big. Rey is asking for an apology on his son’s behalf. He’s still his son. Rey begs him not to do this. Edge says Rey knows that he loves him, but his son is old enough to drink, drive, and step foot in this ring. Dominik is old enough to stand for his actions. Edge calls Dominik out again.
Rhea Ripley’s music hits, and she makes her way to the stage. Ripley tells Edge to calm down. At Clash at the Castle, they both got exactly what was coming to them. Edge thought he could replace Dominik like he didn’t even matter. Rey thought he could protect Dominik just because he was his baby boy. The fact is that Dominik isn’t his baby boy anymore. Ripley saw the potential in him and made him into a man. She motions to the stage.
Dominik Mysterio walks out dressed in all black. The crowd boos him. Rey tells his son to snap out of it. He still has time. Rey begs him to make amends with Edge and make things right. Ripley asks when Rey is going to get it through his thick skull. Dominik isn’t listening to him anymore. Rey cannot fight his battles for him anymore. As for Edge, he’s past his time. Edge can’t stop his Judgment Day. A “Who’s your daddy” chant lightly picks up.
Ripley and Dominik start making their way to the ring. Rey tells Edge to do what he has to do because he can’t be part of this. Rey leaves the ring and approaches his son. Rey again begs his son not to do this. Dominik won’t even look at him. Rey looks sick that his son won’t look him in the eyes. Rey sadly walks off. Ripley laughs and puts her hand on Dominik’s shoulder. Edge stares down at them. As Dominik approaches the ring, Finn Bálor and Damian Priest attack him from behind. Edge manages to fight them off until Dominik gets in the ring and chop blocks him. Bálor works on the leg as Priest stomps away at him. Rey charges down to the ring, but Dominik and Ripley stand in his way. Rey tries to get past Dominik, but Dominik throws him back. Ripley attacks Rey from behind and whips him into the steel steps. In the ring, Bálor throws Edge into Priest. Priest connects with the South of Heaven. The crowd boos.
Ripley goes under the ring and hands Dominik a steel chair. Dominik hands the chair to Bálor. Bálor attacks Edge’s injured left knee and puts the chair on it. Priest holds Edge down. Bálor goes to the top rope and hits the Coup de Grâce onto the chair and knee. Edge screams in pain. Dominik walks off with the Judgment Day as Rey checks on Edge in the ring.

Ciampa shushes her and says journalists are always trying to stir things up. Miz says no one ever asks how he is doing. She asks how he is doing, and Miz says it’s none of her business. They walk off and stop when they approach a car that is flipped over.

Photos of the major news coverage WWE Clash at the Castle received are shown.
The 2022 Money in the Bank holder Austin Theory makes his way to the ring. The crowd loudly boos Theory, who is still holding his jaw after being punched by Tyson Fury on Saturday. Theory says things didn’t go as planned on Saturday, but Crown Jewel was an absolute success. Theory says he’s just kidding because it’s Clash at the Castle. Theory is upset and yells at the crowd to shut their mouths while adjusting his jaw. Everyone wanted to see him fail at his cash-in, but he’s still the youngest Mr. Money in the Bank in WWE history. That guarantees that he is the future Undisputed Champion. The difference between him and the people is when he gets knocked down, he gets back up, even against a boxer like Tyson Fury. Roman Reigns is still the champion, but he’s actually glad he is. For one, Drew McIntyre completely embarrassed himself in front of his friends and family. Second, Theory and Roman Reigns have unfinished business. Theory trips over his words and grabs his jaw. Theory says he’ll soon end Roman Reigns’ two-year reign as champion. Then he’ll be the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
Kevin Owens’ music hits, and he comes out to the stage looking perplexed. Owens asks what’s wrong with Theory’s jaw. Owens then remembers that Theory got knocked the hell out. A “You got knocked out” chant picks up. Owens then says that Theory got KOed. A “You got KOed” chant then picks up. Owens smiles. Owens says he just realized that he found his first name again. Owens can call him Austin now! Owens despises arrogant and delusional people in this industry. They’ve had some arrogant and delusional people in WWE, but currently, Theory is at the very top of that list. A great example of how delusional he is is Theory complaining about Tyson Fury. If he didn’t do that at Clash at the Castle (the name of the show), he’d have been buried by Roman Reigns or Drew McIntyre.
Theory says Owens is jealous. Owens is talking about championships, but he hasn’t won one in years. Theory is climbing the ladder of success and doing things Owens never could do, like winning the Money in the Bank. Owens can be first in line when Theory cashes in and wins the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Owens asks if Theory wants to know he’d be destroyed by Reigns and McIntyre. Owens knows what it’s like to be in the ring with them. Owens would have beaten McIntyre a few weeks ago if not for The Usos. 18 months ago, he had Reigns beaten. Owens should’ve been the champion, but The Usos and Paul Heyman ensured he didn’t end the historic reign six months in. The only reason that Theory has the briefcase right now is Owens wasn’t in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. If he was, he’d have slammed Theory through a ladder and won the briefcase. Theory says that sounds like a fantasy. Theory is the handpicked future of this company, while Owens is just trying to stay relevant. Owens admits to doing what he can to stay relevant, which is why he’s so great.
Theory WAS the handpicked future of WWE. Owens wonders if he’s the only one who knows what is going to happen. A referee is going to run down to the ring. A referee (slowly) runs down to the ring. Owens says someone will then challenge him to a fight. Oh wait — it’s him! Owens slams the microphone down.

The Miz is talking with Ciampa backstage. Sarah Schreiber comes up from behind and startles Miz. Miz says he’s not talking about the man whose name shall not be mentioned. Ciampa says Miz is facing Bobby Lashley in a Steel Cage Match because he wants to prove he’s better than Lashley. It’s not to keep out He Who Shall Not Be Named. DAMAGE CTRL, consisting of Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY, makes their way to the ring. Bayley says, “Ding dong, hello idiots!” It is them, the three women who were victorious at Clash at the Castle when they beat Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and Bianca Belair. Dakota Kai says if they can do that to their best, imagine what they can do to the rest of the Women’s Roster. They are taking control. Sky speaks in Japanese. She says they will be taking the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Kai says she wasn’t legal last week. Raquel and Aliyah can pretend to be champions for another week until they take what is rightfully theirs.
Bayley says they persevered through that unfair decision, and she pinned Bianca Belair. Bayley is the first person to pin Belair in almost 300 days.
Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair comes out to the ring. Belair says Bayley may have gotten the best of her at Clash at the Castle, but she put her pride to the side to show up tonight. If Bayley wants a challenge, they can have a match right now tonight. Bayley says, “Shoosh, please.” Bayley says it’s Labor Day, so she’s not working today. All they’re doing is celebrating that Bayley beat Belair. Belair looks confused. The last time she checked, it took the three of them to take her down. If that’s what it takes to make Bayley feel like she’s in control, then that’s fine. Belair gets in the ring. Bayley might have her little minions, but she has the gold. Belair holds up the title. Unless it’s one-on-one, and unless she’s got this title, Bayley is in control of nothing.
DAMAGE CTRL surrounds the Raw Women’s Champion before walking off. Belair laughs. Bayley says she already beat Belair. She has nothing else to prove. It’s been a long time since they’ve seen each other. She’s still the same Bianca Belair trying to play Miss Perfect, but her fragile ego cannot handle this one loss. Belair wants to challenge her to make herself feel like it’s just a fluke, but it’s not all about her. Bayley says they’ve got better things to do, like her girls winning the Tag Team Titles next week. If and when Bayley wants that title, she’ll get it one way or another. Bayley moves Sky and Kai in front of her.
Rey Mysterio is walking backstage. He’ll face Damian Priest next.

Before they were rudely interrupted, he was going to announce that next week on Raw, Johnny Wrestling will return to action. Gargano tells Theory to be careful of the sharks.

Sarah Schreiber is backstage with United States Champion Bobby Lashley. She says Miz said he would beat him tonight inside the Steel Cage. Lashley says that isn’t very wise.
