“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.
A video kicks off the show highlighting Championship Monday with four title matches.
WWE Champion Drew McIntyre makes his way to the ring. The maskless crowd in the Performance Center give him a nice ovation. McIntyre mentions tonight is Championship Monday. Just last week, R-Truth hastily, on his behalf, put his title on the line. He retained and it’s time to move forward.
Dolph Ziggler’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. McIntyre sarcastically says he’s excited to see him. Ziggler says AJ Styles has been traded to SmackDown. In return, Monday Night Raw gets him and his tag team partner, the glorious one Robert Roode. Ziggler says Raw got the better end of the deal. No one is happier to see McIntyre as WWE Champion as him. Ziggler would hate to see him lose that title for any reason before he got around to it.
Ziggler says McIntyre has already forgotten his redemption story. Years ago, McIntyre was here and got fired. McIntyre should have been done if it wasn’t for Dolph Ziggler. McIntyre got to the lowest of the low. Ziggler picked him up and brought him here. McIntyre is on Monday Night Raw because of him. They went on to become dominant Tag Team Champions because of him. Now McIntyre is WWE Champion because of him. All Ziggler asks in return is what he’s owed: a WWE Title match. The crowd boos.
McIntyre says Ziggler thinks he’s responsible for his success. It’s nice revisionist history. Since they split apart, it hasn’t been smooth sailing. Without him watching Ziggler’s back, he’s been losing a lot. McIntyre wants Ziggler to hear this. It’s not because Ziggler is untalented… he’s become exactly what they used to despise. Ziggler is an entitled jackass who thinks the world owes him something. The world doesn’t owe him anything. McIntyre does need an opponent for Extreme Rules. Ziggler gave him a nickname: the Scottish Psychopath. Imagine what he’s capable of with the championship on the line. Does Ziggler really want this match? McIntyre accepts the challenge.
Asuka will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair later tonight.
Nia Jax makes her way to the ring, puts a steel chair in the ring, sets it up, and takes a seat.
-Commercial Break-
Nia Jax is still sitting in the ring. She says it must be Monday because Charlotte Flair got exactly what she wanted whether she deserved it or not. She went “WOO” and was granted a title match against Asuka tonight. She was cheated at Backlash last week and then had a crooked referee on Raw.
WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth makes his way to the ring. R-Truth gets in the ring, and Jax rolls her eyes. R-Truth says Jax is confused. He’s supposed to have a match against an evil leader of a ninja clan, Akira Tozawa, for his 24/7, 48/7, 7-11, I-95 South, European “I’ve binged episodes of Reno 911” Championship… unless Jax is the real Akira Tozawa. Ninjas are the masters of deception and disguise. Jax says she’s not in the mood. If she’s not Tozawa, who is she. Tozawa appears behind commentary, and R-Truth exclaims, “There are two Tozawas!” R-Truth is chased off by ninjas.
Jax says she’s not leaving this chair… Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring. Jax throws her chair out of the ring. Flair says she’ll explain what’s really going on. Jax squandered her last two title matches. She didn’t get her way and is throwing a huge hissy fit. Jax says Flair always gets what she wants because he daddy is Ric Flair. Flair gets on the apron and tells someone to open the ropes for her. A stagehand comes up and opens the ropes. Jax says Flair’s father helped her career. If she disagrees, she’s delusional. Flair sarcastically says her father ended Asuka’s 900+ day undefeated streak and beat her twice last month. Jax says Flair never beat her. The one time they went one-on-one three years ago, she dominated her. Since then, Flair has been building her legacy on easy targets and avoiding her. The one woman built to take Flair’s crown is Jax. Flair and Jax start to brawl in the ring. Referees quickly run down to pull them apart. Flair big boots Jax. Flair is holding her arm in pain following the brawl.
Video Package: Street Profits vs. Viking Raiders
Raw Tag Team Champions The Street Profits says it all comes down to the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship match, which is up next. The Viking Raiders walk up and ask if the Profits have a message for them. Montez Ford says they aren’t for life like the nWo. Angelo Dawkins says they’re forever. They then sing a little jig and all unite hands for The Viking Profits. Dawkins says even though they’re friends, when the bell rings they’ll do whatever it takes to keep their titles. Erik says as friends there’s nothing that will stop them from reclaiming their gold. They better bring the smoke. Ivar says, “We will see you in the ring, fam.” They all walk off. Zelina Vega appears in the shot and smiles.

-Commercial Break-

The Street Profits hit Erik with the Viking Experience, but Ivar breaks up the pin!
Erik floors Ford with a right hand. Ivar tags in and hits a handspring back elbow. Ivar knocks Dawkins off the apron, but Ford cartwheels around him. The Street Profits and Viking Raiders do stereo cartwheels before Erik stacks up the Profits and gives them a powerbomb/slam! Ivar goes to the top rope, but Dawkins avoids a splash. Dawkins hits the Cash Out, tags in Ford, and spears Erik! Ford hits a frog splash on Ivar for the win!
Winners by Pinfall and still WWE Raw Tag Team Champions: The Street Profits
The Street Profits and Viking Raiders embrace after the match, so the Viking Profits are still good. The Raiders leave the ring. Andrade and Angel Garza then attack the Profits from behind and beat them down. The Raiders run down and scare them off.

-Commercial Break-
Video Package: Dominik Mysterio attacks Seth Rollins last week on Raw
Rey Mysterio returns later tonight.
Seth Rollins is shown backstage. Sometimes in life, we’re destined for roles beyond our choices. He did not choose to be the Monday Night Messiah just like Rey Mysterio didn’t choose to be a sacrifice. Unlike Mysterio, Rollins has embraced his role. Mysterio has been defiant. Defiance breeds suffering. The saddest part of all of this is Mysterio allowed his son to get involved in this situation. Rollins says whatever becomes of Mysterio or his son from this moment forward is on Mysterio. It’s guilt Mysterio will have to harbor because the greater good is coming for them all. Rollins says he’s heard that legends never die, but they sure as hell can outlive their welcome.
Replays are shown of Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax brawling.
Charlotte Flair comes out of the trainer’s room with her shoulder taped up. Charly Caruso approaches her. Flair says it’s not ballet. Her arm will be just fine holding up the Raw Women’s Championship.
Caruso then walks up to Angel Garza, Andrade, and Zelina Vega. She says it was surprising to see them as a united front. Garza says when you know what you want, you have to be willing to take risks. It’s like being with a beautiful woman and gazing into her eyes at the mystery behind. Vega calls Caruso, “Two buck Chuck.” Vega says they are a united front. They took their differences and turned them into a strength. Soon they’ll be taking a common prize. Andrade says they want the Raw Tag Team Titles.
Raw Women’s Champion Asuka makes her way to the ring. The title match is next.

-Commercial Break-

Asuka quickly fights back and hits a release German Suplex. Nia Jax is still watching backstage. Asuka kicks away at Flair’s chest before trying for a spinning back fist. Flair quickly comes back with a big boot.
Flair charges Asuka in the corner, but she moves. Asuka quickly goes to the arm bar, but Flair fights it. Asuka tries for the other arm, but Flair continues to fight it. Flair gets her foot on the bottom rope to get Asuka off her. Flair quickly kicks Asuka in the knee and hits a chop block. Flair hits a spear, but Asuka grabs the bottom rope to break the pin. Flair goes for a Figure Four, but Asuka catches her with an inside cradle for a two count. Asuka grabs the arm, but Flair lifts her up and slams her down. Asuka then transitions into the Asuka Lock! Flair has no choice but to tap out!
Winner by Submission and still WWE Raw Women’s Champion: Asuka
Charly Caruso walks up to Nia Jax and asks if the result of the match is a result of Jax’ attack. Jax says it would be a shame for someone to kick The Queen while she’s down.
“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair will be out tonight to present Randy Orton as the greatest wrestler ever. Edge will give a medical update, next.
-Commercial Break-
Video Package: Randy Orton gives Christian a punt kick to the head
Edge is shown in an empty ring with his right arm taped up. Edge says Randy Orton won at Backlash, but Orton didn’t live up to the claim of being the best natural wrestler. Orton hit him with an RKO that tore his triceps off the bone. Another surgery… but he kicked out. Orton thinks he kept Edge around to prove a point. Edge felt the panic when he was about to lock in the Anti-venom. Then Orton “accidentally” hit him with a low blow.
Edge mentions that he saw Raw with Orton saying he’s the best wrestler because he wont the greatest wrestling match. Put it on all the merchandise you want if beating him means that much to Orton. For Edge’s world, beating Orton is what he expects. Edge is disappointed he didn’t see the low blow coming and that he didn’t do it first. That’s not going to happen again. Orton said Edge helped light a fire in his gut and become a Legend Killer again. This injury with him not being able to pick up his daughter’s on Father’s Day showed him that he needs to wake up a side of him that has been dormant for far too long. The second he hit that punt after he cornered Jay in the corner and made him accept a match he’s not medically cleared for and hasn’t wrestled in 6 years… He’s been his best friend for 36 years before the world knew him as Christian. He’s helped Edge through every trial and tribulation in his life.
When Orton did that, he took the PG Superstar to bed. For that… he’s thankful. Orton woke up the side of him that will sink to any level to get what he wants. This person doesn’t care how many backs he bruises to get to the top. Edge doesn’t care about winning a wrestling match. He’s going to embarrass and emasculate Orton and make him wish Cowboy Bob was firing blanks the night he was conceived. When Orton goes home, his kids will run up to him and ask if he’s ok. Orton won’t be. Orton won’t be able to look Kim in the eyes. Edge knows Orton has voices in his head, but he’ll scream louder than all of them. Edge will seep into every aspect of Orton’s life and infect it. Edge will tear his life apart brick by brick from the inside. Orton has no idea what he’s done. Orton woke up the evil… he woke up the Rated R Superstar. Edge tells Orton to get some sleep while he can.
Randy Orton is shown backstage. Charly Caruso comes up for a comment. Orton asks if she knows what a snake does when it feels threatened. It’ll strike wildly and blindly. It’ll do what Mother Nature let it do. It’ll do what it takes to survive. Edge and Christian tried to have their comebacks at the expense of him. What does he do when he’s backed into a corner? He strikes wildly and blindly, but he’ll do what he has to do to protect his family and livelihood. It’s Mother Nature. Orton hopes Edge and Christian reach a full recovery. There’s a good chance they’ll live happy and healthy long lives as long as they do it far, far away from him. Orton has to go discuss something with The Nature Boy.
-Commercial Break-
Charly Caruso asks Charlotte Flair for a comment. Flair is icing her shoulder. Nia Jax attacks Flair from behind and attacks the arm. Jax says Flair is having a rough night. Jax then puts Flair’s arm in a crate and slams the lid on it. A trainer runs up to help Flair.

Morgan puts Natalya in the ring, but Lana distracts her. Natalya chop blocks Morgan before applying a Sharpshooter for the win.
Winner by Submission: Natalya
Natalya holds the submission on for a few more seconds before going outside and hugging Lana. They celebrate at ringside before walking off together.
Charly Caruso asks Big Show if he ever thought he’d be fighting off ninjas. Big Show says he thought he’d seen everything, but now Raw is invaded by ninjas. Big Show just wanted to say hi to some friends, but when else can he punch a ninja? His career is focused on “The Big Show Show” on Netflix, but he wants to help some friends. Behind this fun exterior, there’s a heartless, angry giant. When that guy comes out, he can do anything to anyone he wants. There’s nothing anyone can do about it. Tonight, the World’s Largest Athlete is heading to the ring as a heartless, angry giant.
Ric Flair’s music hits, and the two-time WWE Hall of Famer makes his way to the ring. He’ll anoint Randy Orton as the greatest wrestler ever on Raw, next.
-Commercial Break-
Replays are shown of Dolph Ziggler returning to Raw and challenging Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules.
It is official: Drew McIntyre will indeed defend the WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler at WWE Extreme Rules.
“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair is in the ring showing off his suit. The crowd is giving him a nice ovation. Flair says earlier tonight, The Queen, his daughter, was injured. When she comes back, Nia Jax will wish she worked and live in another environment. His daughter is on a mission, which means Jax is in a lot of trouble.
Now onto Randy Orton: Flair has been saying he’s the greatest performer in the business today. People love using that word “arguable.” People want to be the best, but there can only be one. It’s Randy Orton. In 24 hours, he took WWE Hall of Famer Edge and the great Christian and punted them back to retirement. Flair calls Orton to the ring.
Randy Orton’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring. Flair says he’s been dying for this moment. This man is the most dominant and vicious performer in WWE. That is a tough slot to sit on, control, manage, and dictate from. Flair says Orton is the best performer in WWE… actually in the history of WWE. Flair is honored to be here. They shake hands.
Orton says this means a lot. It’s nostalgic that they’re in the ring as half of Evolution. Sometimes nostalgia can be confused with legacy. For example, it was nostalgic that Flair showed he was the dirtiest player in the game last week. It was nostalgic when he punt kicked Christian in the head. It was nostalgic when Edge stepped into the ring for the very last time. The way he’s feeling, this fire in his gut to be called the Legend Killer isn’t nostalgic. It’s expanding his legacy. In two days he euthanized the careers of Edge and Christian. The voices in his head love being called The Legend Killer.
Big Show’s music hits. Big Show has heard enough. He won’t let Orton sit out here and glorify everything Orton did. Edge and Christian are his friends. Orton will pay for what he did to them. BIg Show has known Orton for a long time. From the moment they met, he knew Orton was a narcissistic parasite that leaches onto whatever will bring him to the next level. That unfortunately is someone he used to respect in Ric Flair. Orton latches onto competitors that make him better because Orton lacks self-discipline and motivation to make himself better. Orton doesn’t care about what he did to Edge and Christian. Orton is just another parasite. Once he gets what he wants, he leaves the host to die. Edge isn’t done and will pay Orton back for everything he did. Edge won’t get the satisfaction of doing it alone because this pissed off giant will break every bone in Orton’s body.
Orton says Big Show will not disrespect Flair. Orton says he’s friends with Big Show and thinks the world of him and his accomplishments. Big Show is a future Hall of Famer. Some might even say Big Show is a legend. Orton would never have guessed kicking two of Big Show’s friends in the head would upset him, but it would be a shame if Big Show suffered the same fate. Big Show challenges him to try. Orton and Flair leave the ring. Orton says he gave Big Show a shot. Big Show knows what Orton can do when he’s motivated. What happens next is on Big Show. Orton and Flair walk off.
The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship will be on the line later tonight.

Bayley says they are so good. That’s what happens when you’re The Boss and Bayley Dos Straps. Banks says she’s been thinking. She knows Bayley is Bayley Dos Straps. Every time she talks about the multi-titles, she gets jealous. Banks loves seeing Bayley happy, but she wants to experience that as well. Banks says she wants a title match. At Extreme Rules, she is officially challenging… Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship!
WWE Raw Women’s Champion Asuka makes her way to the ring. Asuka says Banks is not the boss of her. Asuka accepts the challenge! Bayley viciously attacks Asuka from behind. Banks and Bayley double-team Asuka, but she fights them off. Banks hits a backstabber into the Bank Statement.
Bobby Lashley and MVP are talking backstage. Sarah Schreiber asks if hew as trying to send a statement to the Raw locker room. Lashley says he should be WWE Champion if not for that clown. MVP says their association has done wonders for Lashley’s career just like it could be for Apollo Crews. MVP saw what Crews did last week and was proud of him… until he gave Shelton Benjamin a rematch tonight. Crews needs to sit down under the learning tree and become one of the most prolific US Champions since MVP.
-Commercial Break-
Liv Morgan is walking backstage and walks away from Ruby Riott. Morgan says she doesn’t need Riott making her feel worse about how things are going.
MVP is in the ring for another edition of the VIP Lounge. Once again he’s in the ring so big things are poppin’ and the little things are stoppin’. Enjoy the view because the VIP Lounge is for people like him and he’s better than you. He hopes his next guest realizes how special it is to be invited. MVP has WWE United States Champion Apollo Crews come down to the ring.
MVP says he’s been impressed with Apollo Crews recently, but then he went and recklessly blew out his knee to forfeit his spot in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. MVP knew Crews needed someone to help him navigate his bad decisions. Crews says he got to this point in his career without MVP’s help. He had to fight and earn this United States Championship. He almost lost his career for it. He appreciates MVP’s offer, but it’s no.
MVP knows Crews has potential to be one of the greatest United States Champions of all time. There’s no rule that he needs to put his body on the line forever. MVP says Crews won’t be able to hold it without him. Crews asks if MVP will help Shelton Benjamin or have Lashley do it. Crews won’t let MVP or the title change who he is. MVP says he held the title for 343 days. That was historic. MVP tried to do it the nice way not once, but twice. There won’t be a third time. Whether Crews likes it or not, the United States Championship is coming home where it belongs. Crews gets in MVP’s face.
Shelton Benjamin makes his way down to the ring. MVP asks Benjamin for a moment. Benjamin uses the distraction to attack Crews and send him into the ring post. MVP tells Crews to never put himself into a 2-on-1 situation because it leaves him vulnerable. That gem was free. The next one will cost him.
-Commercial Break-

Bobby Lashley attacks Crews from behind and lays him out with the full nelson.
Rey Mysterio is backstage with Dominik. They embrace. Mysterio will be out, next.
-Commercial Break-
Rey and Dominik Mysterio make their way to the ring. Mysterio’s mask still has a patch over the right eye. Mysterio says one of the most terrifying things that can ever happen to a parent is not being able to get a hold of your child. Last Monday, he tried calling Dominik several times and got no response. Dominik scared the hell out of him. When he found out where he was heading, he didn’t feel any better. Dominik was coming to the WWE Performance Center to avenge what Seth Rollins did to him. Not even the most confident father would think his son would get out of a 3-on-1 situation, but he did. Mysterio is proud of his son… but he’s also angry with him because he put himself at risk. His mother was worried. Dominik knows the risks you take when you step into the ring. Dominik knows Mysterio is pissed about what Rollins did to him. Mysterio learned to accept it. Mysterio says Dominik is bigger than him, but he’s still his old man. No matter how big or strong he gets, he’ll always be his child.
Since Dominik fought for him, he’ll fight for Dominik. Mysterio says he’s got this one. He needs to get revenge on Seth Rollins, but he needs to do it himself. Dominik says he understands where Mysterio is coming from, but he’s not going anywhere. Dominik says to Rollins that this is what a family looks like. This family wants a fight. Mysterio shakes his head.
Seth Rollins’ music hits, and he comes out to the stage. Rollins says they’re putting the Monday Night Messiah in a difficult position. Does he go down to the ring and slaughter a father in front of his son or does he go down to the ring and make Mysterio watch while he sacrifices his boy. Rollins doesn’t know what to do. It’s not up to him. None of these decisions are his. This is fate, prophecy, and destiny. They’re both in the same place at the same time. Two eyes are better than one.
Rollins walks down to the ramp and falls to his knees. Murphy and Austin Theory join him. Aleister Black and Humberto Carrillo walk down and attack them! Dominik fights Murphy and Theory. Black and Carrillo then wipe out Murphy and Theory. Rollins tries to beg everyone off, but Mysterio hits him with a 619. All four men attack Rollins. The Mysterios drag Rollins over to the ring steps, but Murphy and Theory break it up. Murphy and Theory hold Mysterio up as Rollins grabs Dominik. Rollins goes to drive Dominik’s eye into the ring steps, but Black and Carrillo chase them away with steel chairs. Rollins, Murphy, and Black stand at the top of the ramp as the show ends.
