A video package highlights The Shield reuniting last week and The Miz recruiting Braun Strowman for his team at WWE TLC this Sunday night.
We go live to Portland where Michael Cole welcomes us to the show. The arena is decked out with tables, ladders and chairs ahead of the PPV on Sunday.
The Shield opens RAW in Portland
RAW GM Kurt Angle is out first to kick off the show tonight. Angle welcomes the Portland crowd to Monday Night RAW. He says it is safe to say The Shield is back together. Angle plus The Shield taking on The Miz, Cesaro, Sheamus and Braun Strowman at TLC this Sunday. He said that is this Sunday and he wants to focus on tonight.
The Shield music hits. They are all decked out in the old Shield gear. Huge reaction in Portland. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose enter through the crowd and jump the barricade. All three surround the ring staring down Angle and get inside. A loud “THIS IS AWESOME” chant starts up among the crowd tonight in Portland.
Angle asks if Portland wants to hear from The Shield. They cheer. Angle, with a concerned look on his face, hands over the mic to Roman Reigns. Reigns says that is a good choice because when The Shield comes down you have two choices: leave the yard or get your ass beat. Rollins tells Reigns to take it easy and says it feels good be out here. He said it’s amazing how things come full circle and how The Shield had its first match at TLC five years ago. Angle exits the ring. Rollins said they dominated that night. He said one day that all went away. “But I am proud to stand here five years later in this ring with my brothers because The Shield is back and better than ever baby!” Ambrose grabs the mic and talks about tables, ladders and chairs. He said Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro and Strowman should be scared to go to war with the masters. Ambrose says no one divides and conquers like The Shield does. He said his comments last week about taking any number of people on may not have been smart, but he’d say it again. Ambrose calls Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro and Strowman out to the ring.
Sheamus, Cesaro, Braun Strowman and The Miz walk down the ramp. Angle quickly stops this and says we are getting this match on Sunday. He says they will make history tonight, but on his terms. Angle reminds Sheamus and Cesaro that they will challenge Rollins and Ambrose tonight for the RAW Tag Team Championships, while Reigns will take on Strowman inside a Steel Cage match later tonight. He calms them all down and plugs tonight.
Braun Strowman will join MizTV later tonight before the Steel Cage match.
-Commercial Break-
We return live with Elias inside the ring joined by Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Anderson asks if they can warm up their vocal chords a bit. Gallows sings about nerds. The Club starts singing the Honky Tonk Man theme song as Elias plays it on the guitar.
They are interrupted by Jason Jordan, Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews heading to the ring.
Elias, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Jason Jordan, Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews
We start with Luke Gallows working over Titus O’Neil in the corner with body shots. Titus with a big chop to Gallows with a clothesline over the top rope. Jordan and Crews join in on Anderson and Elias clearing the ring as we head to a break.
-Commercial Break-
Back live, Elias has the tag working over Crews who got the tag. Elias kicks Crews away from the corner. Crews fires back with a big boot off the ropes. Anderson gets the tag to cut off a hot tag by Crews. Crews counters and tags in Jordan. Jordan with clotheslines to Anderson followed by a big dropkick. Jordan repeatedly slams Anderson in the corner and follows with an overhead suplex. Titus with a boot to Elias. Gallows with a boot to Titus. Crews takes out Gallows. Anderson knocks Crews out. Jordan with a spear to Anderson in the corner. Crews gets the tag and hits his spinning sitdown powerbomb for the win.
Winners: Jason Jordan, Titus O’Neil and Apollo Crews
Cole, Graves and Booker T hard sell the WWE Network and TLC this Sunday.
WWE Champion Jinder Mahal will issue a special Survivor Series tomorrow night on Smackdown Live. Also set for the show is Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler.

A video package hypes the main roster debut of Asuka at TLC on Sunday.
Backstage, Renee Young is with Emma. She wants to know why the attention isn’t on her. Emma says she was the one to start the women’s revolution. “I am a social media superstar. What has Asuka done around here?” RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss walks up and says she gets it. She agrees Asuka hasn’t done anything. Bliss wants to thank Emma for starting the women’s revolution. She calls what Emma is doing refreshing compared to what Mickie James is doing at the moment. “The younger superstars are the future.” Bliss suggests teaming up with Emma tonight against James and whoever decides to partner with her. Emma agrees to team up with Bliss tonight. They both walk off smiling.
A video package airs showing Jack Gallagher turning on Cedric Alexander on 205 Live and working with The Brian Kendrick. We see the new alliance between the two.
Alexander vs. Gallagher is up next.

Cruiserweight Division
Cedric Alexander w/ Rich Swann vs. Jack Gallagher w/ The Brian Kendrick
Alexander with a big elbow early to Gallagher and follows it up with a big dropkick. Kendrick is up on the ring apron distracting Alexander. Swann pulls him down. Gallagher attacks Alexander quickly off the distraction and throws big elbows. Gallagher catches Alexander with a dropkick and kick to the back. Alexander blocks a kick and throws a big back elbow. Alexander with a huge kick to the head flipping off the ropes. Swann with a diving DDT to Kendrick off the steel steps. Alexander bounces the back of Gallagher off his knees and gets the pinfall.
Winner: Cedric Alexander
Cole plugs Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann vs. Jack Gallagher and The Brian Kendrick in a tag team match at the TLC PPV this Sunday night.
MizTV with Braun Strowman is up next.

MizTV featuring Braun Strowman
WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro and Curtis Axel all head to the ring for the latest edition of MizTV. Miz grabs a mic and talks about Kurt Angle breaking up their attempt earlier tonight to answer The Shield’s challenge before Sunday.
He’s happy Angle stopped them so Sheamus and Cesaro can take back the RAW Tag Team Championships. Cesaro, with his mouth guard in, cuts a promo that is very hard to understand. Sheamus says tonight The Bar will shatter The Shield into three pieces.
Miz calls The Shield an “overhyped nostalgia act.” He calls them overrated and refers to his unit as a family. Miz introduces his guest tonight: Braun Strowman. Strowman heads to the ring and grabs a mic. He says he would have shattered The Shield tonight.
Strowman said it takes three of them to take him out. His goal is to tear apart The Shield one-by-one until they are gone forever. Strowman says that starts tonight inside a Steel Cage with Roman Reigns. He’s demanding they lock the door tonight so Reigns can’t go anywhere. Miz brings up Ambrose again bragging The Shield could take on 4 or even 5 people. He is agreeing with Ambrose and is ready to introduce a 5th team member tonight. Kurt Angle walks out and says Miz is pushing it doing this. Miz wants them to prove it. Angle tells Miz to shut up. He announces Strowman must beat Reigns tonight for them to get a 5th partner. Angle adds that if Strowman loses, the match returns to being 3 vs. 3 and they lose Strowman as a partner this Sunday. They all talk and Strowman accepts. Angle adds that everyone is banned from ringside during the matches tonight.

Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox
Banks throws Fox down right away and goes for the Bank Statement. Fox breaks free, but Banks catches her with a baseball slide dropkick. Fox rolls back out, but Banks pulls her back up on the ring apron. Fox drops Banks off the top rope and connects with a quick backbreaker for a two count. Banks with a cross body for a two count. Banks eventually gets Fox back down again, locks in the Bank Statement and Fox taps out.
Winner: Sasha Banks
After the match, it looks like Banks got a bloody nose from the exchange at the end.
Enzo Amore is headed to the ring next.

Backstage, Alicia Fox attacks Sasha Banks. “You are going to learn to respect me!” Fox pushes down a WWE referee that walks up to break it up.
Enzo Amore addresses his title loss
The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore walks out and does his usual introduction. He isn’t feeling that great. Footage of Enzo losing the WWE Cruiserweight Championship to Kalisto last week is shown. Back live, Enzo says he was robbed. “That ain’t no conspiracy. That is a fact.” He calls Kurt Angle a corrupt General Manager.
Here comes WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kalisto to interrupt. Kalisto grabs a mic and says enough is enough. He says Enzo can blame him, Kurt Angle, the entire 205 Live roster or even the WWE Universe if he wants to. Kalisto says he won’t have any excuses come TLC this Sunday. He mistakenly says he will be the new Cruiserweight Champion. Enzo say she has money stacked taller than Kalisto. He warns him that a train is coming. Drew Gulak, Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari and Noam Dar hit the ring and attack Kalisto.
Mustafa Ali runs down and takes out Nese, Gulak and hits Enzo with a shoulder charge. Ali levels Dar with a clothesline. Enzo with a cheap shot. Ali tries to fight back, but gets outnumbered quickly. Enzo mocks Kalisto in the corner. Daivari levels Ali as Enzo cheers him on. Michael Cole, Corey Graves and Booker T are trying to figure out why this crew is currently backing Enzo after everything he’s done to the division at this point.

WWE RAW Tag Team Championships
Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose (c’s) vs. Sheamus and Cesaro
We start with Dean Ambrose and Sheamus. Ambrose with chops to Sheamus. Sheamus fights back with knees. Ambrose with a dropkick, tag to Seth Rollins and Rollins follows with a dropkick of his own. Ambrose and Rollins clear house on Sheamus and Cesaro. Rollins and Ambrose then launch themselves over the top rope taking out both Sheamus and Cesaro. Back inside, Rollins kicks Cesaro away, but Sheamus and Rollins collide.
-Commercial Break-
Back live, Sheamus hits an Irish Curse backbreaker on Rollins. Cesaro catches Rollins with an uppercut with help from Sheamus for a close two count. Rollins launches Cesaro over the top rope. Ambrose is begging for the hot tag. Hot tag to Ambrose. Ambrose with clotheslines to Cesaro. Ambrose with a swinging neckbreaker. Rollins and Ambrose connect with double suicide dives to Sheamus and Cesaro. Sheamus with a backbreaker to Rollins. Ambrose sends him over the top rope. Cesaro with a back body drop to Ambrose. Sheamus gets the tag. Cesaro with a springboard clothesline as Sheamus holds him for a two count. Rollins breaks it up. Cesaro gets the tag. Rollins with a superkick to Sheamus. Rollins with a knee to Cesaro. Dirty Deeds on Cesaro and Ambrose gets the pinfall.

Backstage, Curtis Axel is trying to keep Sheamus and Cesaro fired up after the loss. He reveals he will be the 5th team member if Braun Strowman wins tonight. Strowman walks in and says his future is dependent on Strowman tonight. “Braun, I need this!”
Footage is shown from last week of Bray Wyatt transforming to Sister Abigail and confronting Finn Balor on the video screen.
Back live, Finn Balor heads to the ring. Balor grabs a mic and says this is Balor Club right here in Portland. He talks about Irish folktales and thinking they were just stories. Balor said after feeling the presence of Sister Abigail, he realized they are real. He plans to slay the monster with a demon of his own. Balor cuts a promo transforming into The Demon. “My demon is dying to meet you, Sister Abigail. Run.”

A promo for Asuka airs. She arrives this Sunday at TLC.
WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss and Emma vs. Mickie James and Bayley
We start with Mickie James and Alexa Bliss. Bliss quickly tags out to Emma. Quick tag to Bayley who double teams Emma with double elbows along with James. Tag to Bliss who tosses and kicks Bayley in the corner. Bliss and Emma bail to the outside.
-Commercial Break-
Back live, Emma is working over Emma in the corner. Bayley is firing up and tossing Emma face first into the turnbuckle. Bayley with a running knee and clothesline combo on Emma. On the outside, Emma kicks Bayley and she hits the barricade back first. Tag to Bliss who slaps Bayley back inside the ring. Bliss works over Bayley in the corner with kicks to cut off a hot tag. Bayley fights out of the corner. Hot tag to James. James with right elbows to Bliss and follows with a tackling clothesline off the ropes. James plants Bliss face first. Emma breaks up a corner cross body by James. Bayley attacks Emma. Bliss with a shot to Bayley. James with a kick to the head and gets the pinfall.
Winner: Mickie James and Bayley
Backstage, Curtis Axel spots The Shield and heads towards them.

Backstage, The Miz asks where Curtis Axel is. Sheamus says the “Axe Man” is taking out The Shield all by himself. Braun Strowman adds he encouraged it. Miz excuses himself.
Backstage, Mickie James is asked about Alexa Bliss’ comments about her age. James said the comments hurt, but she knows how much she has accomplished in this industry. She intends to talk out of TLC the RAW Women’s Champion.
Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox has been added to the TLC Kickoff Show this Sunday. Cole, Graves and Booker T rundown the card for TLC on the WWE Network.
Backstage, The Miz finds Curtis Axel hung upside down on a forklift.

Backstage, Renee Young asks The Miz about Curtis Axel and his status for TLC if Braun Strowman wins tonight. The Miz says Axel was never going to be the 5th man.

Steel Cage Match
Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman
The Miz has joined Cole, Graves and Booker T on commentary.
The bell rings and here we go. Strowman pushes Reigns to the corner early. Reigns pushes Strowman into the side of the cage wall. Reigns attempts a clothesline. Strowman stays up. Reigns with a big boot, a second boot, but is unable to get Strowman up on his shoulders. Reigns avoids a charge by Strowman in the corner.
-Commercial Break-
We are back live as Strowman is tossing Reigns into the cage wall. Cole is trying to get Miz to say who his 5th partner could be at TLC and Miz refuses to reveal it. Strowman tosses Reigns into the cage wall again, but this time Reigns hangs on. Strowman knocks Reigns down and then splashes Reigns against the cage wall. Strowman attempts this a second time and Reigns moves. Reigns with kicks to the chest and then face of Strowman. Reigns with more kicks. Reigns barely gets Strowman up on his shoulders and connects with a samoan drop. Strowman powers out of the pin. Reigns is up top. Sheamus and Cesaro are at ringside climbing up to get him. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose run out to pull them down and attack. A big brawl breaks out at ringside. Reigns is turning over the top. Strowman climbs up and pulls Reigns back in connecting with a suplerplex off the top of the cage! The brawling continues at ringside with Rollins, Ambrose, Sheamus and Cesaro. They are fighting to the top of the stage among the tables, ladders and chairs laying around. Miz excuses himself from commentary. We see the fight continue backstage with Rollins, Ambrose, Sheamus and Cesaro. Miz traps all four inside the parking garage. He returns to the commentary table. We see Reigns trying to climb out of the cage again when Strowman again cuts him off. Reigns crotches Strowman on the top turnbuckle. Reigns catches Strowman with a Superman to the jaw. Reigns with a second Superman. Strowman is back up. Reigns charges. Strowman lifts Reigns in the air to counter, but Reigns catches him with another Superman and covers. Strowman kicks out! Reigns can’t believe it. The lights go out. We hear a version of Kane’s music hit.
Inside the ring, Reigns catches Strowman with a spear. The ring mat opens up and Kane is inside! Kane with a chokeslam to Reigns. Kane with a second chokeslam to Reigns. Cole is asking why Kane is here. Strowman picks up Reigns and connects with his running powerslam. Kane with a Tombstone Piledriver on Reigns. Strowman picks up Reigns again and hits the running powerslam. Strowman hooks the leg and gets the pinfall.
Winner: Braun Strowman
After the match, The Miz says if that wasn’t clear enough, the 5th member of the team at TLC this Sunday against The Shield is Kane! Kane and Braun Strowman stand side-by-side looking down at a lifeless Reigns as the show comes to a close in Portland.
