WWE Monday Night RAW
Location: Seattle, WA
Date: August 10, 2015
Commentators: Michael Cole, JBL and Byron Saxton
We are live for Monday Night Raw! We are live and the pyro has returned to Seattle, Washington! We are two weeks away from SummerSlam and we will take an in-depth look at the Undertaker/Lesnar main event as an expert panel will be here later tonight. Also later tonight, The Arrow will face Stardust, and Dean Ambrose will face Luke Harper! But right now we kick things off with the Undisputed Champion, Seth Rollins! We see the knee that broke the nose of John Cena two weeks ago! Seth has the mic and he welcomes us to Monday Night Rollins! And I am the man, I am the man that broke the face that run the place, Mr. you can’t see me, your Undisputed Champion and the champion of champions, Seth Rollins. Now last week, we get you sold out chants as he pauses. So what? We’ve gone over this, last week, I came out here and presented John Cena with an opportunity of a lifetime, a one on one, title vs. title match at SummerSlam! And it’s been a week and, what has John Cena said? What is his reply? Nothing!
We haven’t heard anything from John Cena, he’s licking his wounds and what is he doing to not answer my challenge? Is he revitalizing that rap career of his? Or whatever career he had? Cena isn’t Straight Outta Compton, he’s straight out of action! Because I destroyed his WWE career much like I destroyed his face with my knee! We get a Thank You Rollins chant. If John does not want to answer my challenge then he can come to Brooklyn to forfeit the United States Championship, so I can become the first man in history to hold the Undisputed and US Championships at the same time. I hear a rumor that John Cena will be at Tough Enough tomorrow night, which proves he isn’t tough enough. Wait a minute, John Cena is here…via satellite? Does this mean he’s really going to show his face?
We have John Cena via satellite! Yabadabadooo! Doo do doo doooo!! Da Champ…Is Here! No John, the real champ is here, you look terrible John. I feel Terrible! But I feel I need to go to Tough Enough and become a competitor and learn surgery, recovery, and rehab. And to never give up…unless Seth Rollins knees you in the face, then you should give up! John you are doing the right thing, because we need a fighting champion and that fighting champion is Seth Rollins, and it is proof when I defeated Neville in the first ever Undisputed Championship Open Challenge. Neville gave everything he had, but he doesn’t have what it takes to be the man…Wait a minute, here comes Cesaro!
Seth, far be it from me to interrupt your monologue that makes you go on…and on, and on, and on…and on, and on and on…and some more on! But since you mentioned your Open Challenge, let me be first to challenge you, tonight! Seth said nothing about an open challenge tonight, that was last week, a one-time thing. What do you think you’ve done to earn a shot at my championship? Here comes Kevin Owens!
Seth the answer you’re looking for is nothing. Cesaro did nothing to earn a title shot, because last week and this week, some idiot has printed a lot of Cesaro Section signs and people hold it up because it is a sign! And that is not enough to earn a title shot, but I on the other hand have beaten John Cena. Something that neither of you have done, in fact Seth, you tapped out to John Cena two weeks ago! I have it on good authority that it’s me! Seth goes to explain this again but here comes Randy Orton!
I like what you got going on here, Kevin have you gained more weight lately? Cesaro nice glasses, Seth I have it on good authority that it’s me! Seth does not care what anyone thinks or what The Authority thinks! Get the hell out of my ring! And speaking of The Authority! Here he comes! The COO HHH!
I find that an interesting choice of words, I don’t think what The Authority thinks? So be that is it may, we are two weeks away from SummerSlam, and people are telling me that Cena is 50/50 at SummerSlam, which leaves it very iffy, but that turmoil turns into very nice competition! So in that ring tonight, there will be a triple threat match, with Cesaro, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton! The winner of that match will compete in tonight’s main event. The main event that sees that man face Seth Rollins for the Undisputed Championship! I love it!
We join Michael Cole, JBL and Byron Saxton on commentary; they each take a man in the triple threat match. Later tonight, Daniel Bryan returns to Raw and Miz TV and will update us on his condition!

As well as The Lucha Dragons. The New Day talk about Doom, Harlem Heat, and Men On A Mission being in the match as well. Renee does the clap! I love it!
Seth Rollins complains about defending the Undisputed title tonight to Triple H. He’s beaten everyone in his path but Hunter says this is about building a legacy but that takes time. You opened this door tonight, you did it last week with Neville but you showed the world who you are. You wanna be the man; you have to do that every single night! Seth agrees to this and walks off.
We head to Smackdown and Roman Reigns has sent a challenge to Bray Wyatt on Smackdown, Roman and Dean Ambrose to face Bray and Luke Harper at SummerSlam! Bray then accepted the challenge and cuts an amazing promo on welcoming this war.

Owens with even more and tosses Cesaro out of the ring and continues to work on Orton but Orton with his own vintage backbreaker. Cesaro goes up top and hits the crossbody on Orton for two. He did not hook the leg and he should have if he wanted to win that time. The crowd is all over the place as these two are trading European uppercuts! Orton with a clothesline, going for the RKO but Cesaro counters into the Crossface! The rope will not break this hold because there are no disqualifications so Orton crawls out of the ring to break the hold, Owens blasts Cesaro and flips onto both men! What a match so far! Winner and number one contender for later tonight: Randy Orton! ***** star match! If that is not a match of the year candidate as far as WWE matches go, I don’t know what is! Rollins looks at his title from backstage and is a little concerned.
Ambrose says he talks about lack of friends, having someone to play catch with or to steal cars with. Roman apologizes on his friend’s behalf, and says he’s the first real friend he’s ever had. Oh my god! Next week, the same arena, the same time, next week, Lesnar and Taker in the same place at the same time! But after Raw we will show you SummerSlam Reckoning on the WWE Network between Taker and Lesnar!
Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring, he faces Luke Harper up next.
Ambrose is still in the ring. Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring as backup. I’m not sure why he didn’t do this before the commercial break but oh well. But here they come, the modern day Waylon Mercy in Bray Wyatt, and the modern day Bruiser Brody in Luke Harper! Harper pushes Saxton and I love it!

Superkick by Harper to Roman, Ambrose dives on Harper and tosses him back into the ring, going up top but Harper yambags him and connects with the discus clothesline and picks up the win!
Winner: Luke Harper. ****1/2 star match, this is everything I expect out of a Harper/Ambrose match, they are always a war, just like a car crash you can’t stop watching what happens. Adding Roman and Bray into the match was a nice touch without them even causing a DQ as expected!
Miz TV is up next with Daniel Bryan!
We get a WWE Network commercial.
The Miz welcomes us to Miz TV! He talks about The Arrow being in the front row. He says once Stardust is running through you, call me, I’ll re-brand you and teach you how to act. But my guest tonight, you all know him, you all love him…YES! I plucked him from obscurity and made him into greatness, the one, the only, Daniel Bryan! What an ovation for Daniel Bryan! Thank you Miz, and the yes chants continue! Guys, Miz wants you to shut up, you better be quiet, we get No chants! I have to be honest with you Miz, I didn’t come back here to be on Miz TV, and did you honestly think I was going to miss Raw in my homeland of Washington State? I can’t tell what they are chanting but Bryan talks about Miz’s huge success, Santa’s Little Helper, which will be a huge success, to which the crowd replies with no!
You can take credit for your amazing wardrobe, but my accomplishment are not thanks to you, they are thanks to hard work and everyone here tonight, and all of the people who supported me my entire career. Yes chants fill the arena. Miz says we will have to agree to disagree, but we must agree on your medical status, which is you are not cleared! You are as we say on the shelf, like a broken old toy, and I’ve never experienced an injury in the WWE, so what is that like to do nothing and dwell on the past? Bryan says it’s tough because I’ve been pretty busy, as a nod to Mick Foley, I’ve written a book that happens to be a New York Times Best Seller, called YES! My Improvable Journey To The Main Event Of WrestleMania!
I am also a judge on Tough Enough, Miz says he is also a judge on Tough Enough, and I taught you the integrity to be the champion, you did the right thing, and shouldn’t Ryback do the right thing? And what is that exactly? He should cancel the triple threat match at SummerSlam, give the belt to the number one contender, which is me. But here comes the Big Show!
You know Miz, you talk about being Tough Enough, you talk about being the Intercontinental Champion, what’s amazing is you talk all this crap and your teeth are still white, you, Jedi, do you think you should be IC Champ? And you Bryan…we get Please Retire chants and Show demands someone try and retire him! Wait a minute! Here comes the Intercontinental Champion Ryback, a man who has had a CM Punk (Staph Infection) in his knee! It looks like after a couple of Z-Packs he’s ready to go! Ryback and Bryan raise each other’s hands and this match will happen at SummerSlam! Yes chants by both men!
Tonight, immediately following Raw, we will see an exclusive chronicle of the most violent rivalry of all time! SummerSlam Reckoning, Taker vs. Lesnar, on the WWE Network. Cole then continues to shill the Network.
We get a look at Charlotte Flair! She says her inspiration is her father, a man who has never changed his entire life! A woman who was bred for this business and is genetically superior, Charlotte! To have that many people out there and were chanting, she says she will main event WrestleMania and I honestly feel a lot of people in the divas division today could possibly do that, but Charlotte might have the best chance. We look at the six-diva tag match as well as the brawl that happened post-match.
We learn that there is a triple threat team elimination match, Team PCB, Team BAD, and Team Bella, all at SummerSlam!
Rusev and Summer Rae make their way to the ring, Lana is on commentary. Lana tells us that Dolph will be back after SummerSlam. Mark Henry waves Old Glory as he makes his way to the ring.

Rusev and Henry brawl outside, Summer is just woman-handling Lana! Summer locks in the Accolade on Lana! A giant Bulgarian flag falls from the sky with Rusev’s face on it.
No Contest. ** stars, I am only giving it two stars because of the post-match action alone, this was not a match, this was an angle and it was done well.
We look back at the week Neville has had, from an Undisputed title match on Raw, to a promo from Stardust, to the Stardust/Arrow feud recently, the Arrow is not impressed. Neville and the Altitude Era are in action up next, will the Green Arrow see the Red Arrow? Find out next!
We get it…Cena is on Tough Enough, enough already!
We see Stardust vs. Zack Ryder from Smackdown, and Stardust is hyped about the Arrow being on Raw!
King Barrett is in the ring. Neville makes his way to the ring.
King Barrett vs. Neville
This match is underway, Barrett with a crazy springboard backbreaker for two. Barrett tosses him out of the ring and into the post, clubbing blows by the king. Barrett misses with a knee and Neville with a kick, Red Arrow out of nowhere! Neville wins it! Stardust from behind attacks Neville, but here we go, Stardust and the Arrow face off! Stardust shoves him! Arrow hits the ring and takes out Stardust! Security take the Arrow away and Barrett pulls back Stardust! The Red and Green Arrows shake hands.
Winner: Neville. *** stars, just like the last match, this is not a match, this is an angle, however, I did give it an extra star for the Red Arrow and the developments post-match.
We see a promo for NXT this Wednesday night. With the season finale of Ultima Lucha and Lucha Underground last week and no signs of a renewal for a second seasons yet, the Wednesday Night War has become a 3 promotion fight between NXT, ROH and TNA.
Triple H is with the Arrow and he is pissed, he brought him as a guest, but Arrow wants to deal with Stardust. Hunter says you will never be one of us. Arrow says he is also a man, Neville says let the two of us take care of Barrett and Stardust at SummerSlam. Arrow says he will sign whatever he has to sign, make the match happen! Hunter asks if he wants to play tough guy? Legal will have papers drawn to his agent, he wants them signed by tomorrow morning, the match will be official, and the Red and Green Arrows will team up at SummerSlam! It is now official!
JBL tells us the difference from buying SummerSlam, PPV vs. the Network.
JoJo is with Mr. Money In The Bank, Sheamus. JoJo asks a simple question, will Fella cash in? Fella wonders if he should cheer for Randy Boreton or the weasel Seth Rollins? Cena confirmed for the Goonies? I love it! He tells JoJo to shut up and he says he wasn’t done laughing. He says there is uncertainty about the Undisputed title picture, but one thing is for sure, that case will guarantee him to be the new Undisputed Champion! The right time may be tonight!
Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. The Undisputed Championship is on the line up next!
We see a promo for WWE 2K16, otherwise known as WWE 3:16!
Tomorrow night, Naomi will be a bad bitch on Total Divas.
Next week, Taker and Lesnar will be in the same ring at the same time.
Randy Orton is in the ring. Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring. Lillian Garcia with the in-ring introductions.
WWE world heavyweight title match: Randy Orton vs. WWE world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins
This match is underway. Rollins leaves the ring, Rollins eventually enters the ring. We get Justin Bieber chants and that causes Rollins to leave the ring and enter it once again. Rollins circles the ring, boot to the gut and Rollins is putting the boots to Orton! Punch in the corner by Rollins. Shoulder blocks in the corner by Rollins. Rollins flips Flair style almost into a RKO! Rollins rolls out of the ring and raw rolls on.

Kick to the face of Orton and both men are down! Rollins up top but Orton yambags him. We get RKO chants, Orton hits a superplex! Orton crawling to the cover and Rollins gets the shoulder up!
Orton grabs him but Rollins kicks him and goes for the Pedigree but Orton with a back body drop and the ropes DDT but Rollins flips over and hits an enzuigiri! Rollins now going for the ropes DDT and connects! Vintage Rollins! Rollins taunts the crowd, hyping them up, Rollins will go for the RKO! The RKO is not banned in this match so this is legal! Wait a minute, Rollins goes for the Pedigree instead but Rollins lands on the apron into a RKO! Sheamus pulls him out of the ring? For our weekly disqualification? I did not see this coming! WAIT A MINUTE! SHEAMUS WITH THE BROUGE KICK! IS HE CASHING IN? HE IS CASHING IN! WAIT A MINUTE! RKO TO SHEAMUS! The contract was never cashed in because the bell never rang; turnabout is fair play as Orton could have won the world title here tonight.
Winner via DQ: Randy Orton, Sheamus did not cash in so a new match did not happen due to the RKO so he still has MITB. ****1/2 match. I am only taking half a star away for the DQ, although it made sense for Sheamus to cash in, it took a little away from the match.
