WWE Monday Night RAW
Location: Cleveland, OH
Date: June 15, 2015
Commentators: Michael Cole, JBL and Byron Saxton
We are live for Monday Night Raw! We start with Michael Cole telling us about the unfortunate death of “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. We go straight to Money In The Bank where we toll the bell ten times in respect of Dusty. We get a Dusty chant, we then see the Dusty Rhodes tribute video. I honestly don’t know what to say, Dusty was one of the all-time greats. A former multi-time NWA World Champion, Television Champion, United States Champion, even a six-man tag team champion with the Road Warriors. And a face that besides Hulk Hogan, people that didn’t even watch wrestling, you knew about Dusty Rhodes. A man that has been in almost every major wrestling promotion there is, WWF(E), NWA, WCW, TNA, and many more. But most people know him as a Hall Of Famer, and the man that was the first ever general manager of NXT when NXT overridden FCW as the main developmental territory. Dusty was a man that was big in size and even bigger in heart. And like the man said, happy trails until we see you again. God bless you Dream. This episode of Raw and its coverage will be in honor of The Dream!
We get a Dusty chant as we are now live in Cleveland Ohio. We now have the original intro, but we do not get pyro this time. We kick things off with the man who reclaimed the Undisputed Championship, the man that did it all by himself, Seth Rollins. Michael Cole, JBL and Byron Saxton are ringside, we will hear from the champ up next.
Johnny Manzel gets booed, we head to Seth in the ring and he thanks everyone for coming out tonight and welcomes them to Monday Night Raw. He corrects himself and welcomes us to Monday Night Rollins. Because let’s face it, week in and week out, he is the best thing about Raw and he is our Undisputed Champion. Before we go any further, I would like to acknowledge my opponent Dean Ambrose. Ambrose brought the fight to me like no one else has, and he brought his A Game. We see highlights of the match, Seth says Dean’s A Game is not as good as his. Because he made good on his promise, winning one of the best ladder matches in WWE History all by himself. I will give him that much, with what was almost an hour long ladder match it was a classic. He says he has to thank a lot of people that made him what he is today. He’s a first class team player and wants to acknowledge all the people who made him get to where he is today. He’s just a kid from Davenport Iowa. It’s really incredible and he even made a list. First and foremost he would really like to thank Seth Rollins, and Seth Rollins, and Seth Rollins and Seth Rollins and wait for it, he doesn’t want to leave anyone out, Seth Rollins, Seth Rollins, Seth Rollins, Seth Rollins, wait he’s leaving somebody out, Seth Rollins! And last, but not least, Seth Rollins! He wouldn’t thank Dumb and Dumber (J&J), Kane, Stephanie or Triple H. He didn’t need anyone, he did it all on his own. He very well might have punched his ticket into the Hall Of Fame, parents will name their children after him, Johnny Football over there won’t bring you a title, LeBron James won’t bring you any titles, and this is the only title you should be thankful for! Wait a minute! Here comes Dean Ambrose, the man that took Rollins to the limit last night and I’m honestly surprised he’s walking after how much Rollins worked on the knee last night. These two are brawling all over the arena right now! Ambrose is on top of the announce table and dives onto Rollins, the champion in retreat! Ambrose pushes a crew member out of his way, grabs a chair and a mic and says even though that title literally slipped from his hands, he isn’t done making Seth’s life a living hell, so he’s gonna sit right here until Rollins gets his ass out here! It looks like we have a sit-in. Will Rollins come back out? Find out up next
We see a Tough Enough promo which also explains the app and the judges Daniel Bryan, Paige, and Hulk Hogan. Hosted by Chris Jericho on June 23rd.
Ambrose is still in his sit-in. We cut to The Authority in their office, Seth says this is his title and his show. Stephanie says we heard them and said he didn’t need them. Hunter asks if he’s calling Steph a lair. They already have considered who Seth’s next challenger is for the championship. They trusted Seth that he could beat Ambrose, now he must trust them to pick an opponent.
Ambrose is still sitting there and he could very well be in contention for the title. But here comes the man that won Money In The Bank last night and has a contract that he can cash-in until next year’s MITB. Fella says they both love to fight and they both make big predictions. The only difference is I am a winner and you are a loser. He became Mr. MITB and Dean lost. Ya know what? This means I am one brogue kick away from becoming your next Undisputed Champion at any time, it may happen tonight. The Authority told him it would be a good idea to celebrate this moment by taking you out of this ring. We already have a ref in the ring and this match is underway!
Sheamus vs. Dean Ambrose
Fella already kicking the leg of Ambrose, Ambrose is fighting back though. Sheamus takes him outside the ring and continues to work on the leg. Fella sends him leg-first into the steel steps. Ambrose ducks the line and gives him one of his own. Running elbow into the corner, trying to follow up with the bulldog but Fella tosses him to the mat and out of the ring as Raw Rolls on.
Sheamus with a stretch muffler as we come back. We see App footage of Ambrose doing a suicide dive which injured the leg. Back to live action as Ambrose fights out of the Brock Lock and attacks with chops and elbows but Fella trips him down and goes for the cloverleaf but Ambrose pushes him away and hits a beautiful swinging neckbreaker. Fella goes into the corner and gets hit with a bulldog. Ambrose limping up top now, but Sheamus makes him pay with a Kenton Bomb! Going for the cloverleaf again and this time he locks it in the middle of the ring. Ambrose is crawling to the ropes, will he make it? He does! Sheamus is forced to let go. Sheamus with clubbing blows on the apron, Ambrose elbows his way out of it and gives him his own ten beats of the bowren (I hope I spelled that right.) Ambrose ducks the brogue, takes him down and hits a Macho Man Elbow for a two count! Sheamus kicks the leg, hits a high knee but Ambrose with an off the ropes clothesline! Dirty Deeds blocked and Fella walks out, saying he doesn’t need this, he is Mr. MITB. But here comes Randy Orton! Orton with the distraction as Ambrose tosses him back into the ring and rolls him up for the win!
Winner: Dean Ambrose *** match, everything an opener should be.
Almost immediately after the match Orton goes after Sheamus, hits the ropes DDT and goes for the RKO but Fella blocks it and runs away with the case in hand.
Rollins is walking backstage, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble appear out of nowhere. Seth says he doesn’t like to be the guy to tell you so, but he told you so! He says he didn’t need you guys last night because he did it on his own. He asks if he will give them their jobs back and if they have any outside information. Jamie Noble says they don’t have any info but even if they did, he knows who they should give the title match to. His boy Joey Mercury, the man that beat him in the middle of the ring last week. Seth says that is a joke but Joey Mercury speaks once again and says Seth is scared of him, because regardless of where Seth’s career goes, it will always show in the record books that Seth lost to J&J Security. So it doesn’t matter where Seth loses the title, it’s only a matter of when and who! I love it!
Throughout the night we will be looking back at the career of “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, we go back to a match from 1979 for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship between Dusty and Harley Race! Immediately following tonight on Raw, we will have Dusty Rhodes: Celebrating The Dream. Hosted by Jerry “The King” Lawler.
We see Roman Reigns doing a promo for Father’s Day, his daughter is just so adorable.
R-Truth makes his way to the ring with a plunger…why you may ask? Because he pinned King Barrett last night and thinks he is now King Whatsup? King Barrett makes his way to the ring and Truth is on commentary and he calls Byron Coach. Apparently Truth is in this match, he goes in with his crown and bedsheets and this match is underway
King Whats-up vs. King Barrett
Barrett already goes after Truth, taking him down, going for the Bullhammer already, Truth rolls him up for the shocking victory!
Winner in less than 30 seconds: King Whats-up. DUD, no buys at all.
Barrett attacks him after the match, hitting the Bullhammer and has the mic, saying that Truth will no longer mock the king, you will all hail King Barrett!
An assortment of divas and superstars are with Machine Gun Kelly. Paige asks him to come to a party and after that he leaves.
Coming up next we will see the rise of Kevin Owens!
We have Chris Jericho hyping up Tough Enough.
We see highlights of the Kevin Owens vs. John Cena match from MITB last night, Cena picked up the win but Owens takes Cena out and powerbombs him on the apron. Cena having to be helped to the back afterwards.
NXT Champion Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring. Cole tells us that John Cena has lower back contusions and a leg injury. Owens has the mic, he says John Cena is not here tonight, to which this crowd gives us a YES chant. If you want someone to blame for that, then look no further than John Cena himself. Now, I’m not denying that I had a part in what happened to John, because after our match, I did powerbomb him on the edge of the apron right there. But in reality John Cena forced me to do that, as we shook hands, Cena said something that disrespected me, you belong here! You belong here in front of all these people. John I’ve known I belonged here the second I walked into a WWE ring, so I don’t need you to tell me that, and I don’t need you to endorse me in any way shape or form. People talk about him being a sore loser, but John was a sore winner, instead of walking to the back like Owens did, he insisted me to shake his hand, because John Cena always wants to be the hero. John Cena disrespected me and I did what I had to do. Regardless of what happened last night, I have a victory over the United States Champion, and he wants a rematch. And this time when he wins, he wants the United States Championship! Normally this would be the time in the show when Cena comes out and issues an open challenge. So he will do it himself! Who will accept the challenge? Out comes Dolph Ziggler and Lana. He has a mic in hand and says just like kissing Lana tonight, you made my night. You talk about sacrifice, I have scratched and clawed for everything he has earned in this company. Much like this city has scratched and clawed for a championship in this city and he will give it to him. Lillian announces it is for a title but Kevin says this is a non-title match.
WWE NXT champion Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match
Owens takes him to the outside and we instantly go to break.
We see Daniel Bryan promoting 5 Hour Energy.
Owens has Dolph in a rest hold as we come back from break, Ziggler fights out of it, hits a few punches and kicks followed by a dropkick but Owens with a senton for a two count. Owens stomps on the ribs of Ziggler and screams “and that’s why I am the champ!” Owens tossing Ziggler to hang on the top rope by his ribs. Dolph eventually falls down and gets put back on the ropes ribs first, Dolph falls and kicks out. Headbutt by Owens followed by a stomp. Off to the corner and Ziggler hits hard on the turnbuckle. Owens stomps the gut. Owens grabs onto the hair of Ziggler and Ziggler with a flurry of punches followed by a clothesline that takes both men out of the ring! Owens with a forearm, following up with some clubbing blows but Ziggler fights back but Owens tosses him into the timekeeper’s area right into the timekeepers table! Ziggler tries to beat the count and gets in at the count of nine! Owens missing the senton and eating a DDT! Owens rolls to the outside as Raw rolls on!
Owens with a rest hold as we come back. We see app footage of Owens with a fallaway slam to the barricade! Back to live action as Ziggler fights out of it with a jawbreaker! Owens runs into an elbow, a superkick and a few punches but gets a punch of his own that knocks him down! Superkick again by Ziggler for a two count! Fameasser into a powerbomb into a victory roll by Ziggler for two. Fameasser connects this time and Owens kicks out again. Owens uses the ropes to get to his feet. Ziggler misses the Stinger Splash and a launching German Suplex followed by the cannonball senton for a two count! That German had Ziggler land on his neck! Ziggler jumps out of the Pop-Up Powerbomb, hits the Zig Zag, but could not capitalize as Owens kicks out at two! What a match so far! Kick to the gut by Owens followed by a superkick and the pop-up powerbomb to pick up the win!
Winner: Kevin Owens **** match. Everything a match should be and more!
Paige surrounds the divas around and tries to get the divas to rally together! To prove to the WWE Universe that us divas are just as powerful and just as stronger than them! She even challenged the Bellas to a two on one handicap match! The Bella’s make it to the building and Nikki says ever since she helped Stephanie win her match at SummerSlam last year, she’s pretty much been the champion, and that was no accident, so if any of you want to side with Paige then side with Paige. Every single diva then leaves. Paige is on her own.
Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. He faces Kane up next.
We get a look at Swerved, WWE’s version of PUNK’D! It will debut next Monday after Raw on the WWE Network.
Orton is still in the ring, Kane makes his way to the ring. Cole tells us this is the last chance to enter the MITB Sweepstakes to win a commemorative MITB Briefcase and This match is underway!
Kane vs. Randy Orton
Orton gets a few shots in and even more in the corner. Kane with a big uppercut and even more followed by a big boot for a two count. Dropkick by Kane for two! Kane with a rest hold. Orton struggles to get out of it but Kane sends him back down into the hold. Orton eventually gets out of it with a backdrop, following up with the Garvin Stomps! Orton goes for a knee but nobody home and vintage Kane with a sidewalk slam for a two count. Orton into the corner eats a clothesline and now Kane with a stomp. Boo-Yay punches commence as Kane goes for a chokeslam but Orton fights out of it and kicks him in the head followed by a clothesline. Another clothesline in the corner and a third and goes for a fourth but Kane with an elbow but runs into the powerslam! Kane rolls out of the ring and Orton goes for his ropes DDT but here comes Sheamus! Kane says as Director Of Operations, this match is now No Holds Barred! Which means Sheamus is legal, hits a Brogue and Kane picks up the win!
Winner: Kane. *** match. A very interesting end to the match, it made it from going any lower. Other than that your typical Orton/Kane match.
Fella raises the briefcase up high!
Later tonight we will hear from Bray Wyatt to why he stopped Roman Reigns from winning the MITB match last night.
Kane walks backstage as Rollins runs it in his mouth about how Kane wanted him to lose, but Seth won on his own. Kane says anyone can win one match, it takes the future to win match after match after match after match. It takes a team to win matches. Seth says he will continue to do it on his own, Kane has always needed help, from the corporation, the authority, Paul Bearer and his brother The Undertaker. Kane grabs Seth and tells him for the final time to not bring up his family. Seth hopes Kane is his next opponent. This could get interesting.
We see a promo for Total Divas, will this be the end of Eva Marie? Find out July 7th!
We see another Dusty Rhodes moment. This time we look back at the 2007 Hall Of Fame Induction Of Dusty! I love it!
Ryback is on commentary. He thanks Dusty for everything he did in his career. The Big Show makes his way to the ring, we head to what was the dead spot in my personal opinion of MITB last night, Miz caused a DQ and Ryback retaining the title. Speaking of Miz, he is the opponent for this next match.
The Big Show vs. The Miz
This match is underway as Miz goes to the outside, flaps like a bird and takes his shades off. Show in pursuit of Miz and the chase is on. I can’t tell if they are chanting Miz is awesome or Miz is awful, nonetheless Show hurts his leg but it was a fakeout and a big chop by the Big Show! And another one! The hand of Show engulfs the face of Miz and another chop. Miz gets thrown into the corner and Show tosses him to the outside! Chop to Miz on the announce table! Miz is tossed onto Ryback! He says he has Miz all over him, Show and Ryback jaw jack and Miz wins on a countout!
Winner by a countout: The Miz *** match. That’s honestly the best you could give a Big Show match nowadays. After the match Ryback goes into the ring but Show leaves the ring.
Up next, we get an answer by Bray Wyatt as Roman Reigns calls him out next!
We see a promo for a Tough Enough Special tomorrow night on the Network.
Roman Reigns makes his way down to the ring. We learn that Reigns will face Bray Wyatt at Battleground. Reigns has the mic and says last night was not a good night, and he got very little sleep that makes it a long day which makes him pissed. He calls out Bray Wyatt for a match right now! Bray is on the Tron and Roman tells him to get out here. Bray says Roman has a fiery temper, you want answers but you cannot comprehend that meeting. Oh how we forget last night, he climbs the ladder and grabs my destiny. You stole my opportunity, that I could of been that beacon of hope that the world most desperately needed! It’s about that ego that makes it such a crazy thing. He talks about a chosen one but that chosen one was cast aside. All you have to do is look outside your window that this is no paradise! I am the yin to your yang. Whether you want to believe it or not, we need each other. I see a true justice, the justice that you said you fought for. Anyone but you Roman, anyone but you. I will haunt you, and ultimately I will destroy you! But not tonight. What kind of example would we be setting with Father’s Day right around the corner. He has a picture of Roman and his daughter and sings I’m a little teapot, he says our fun is just getting started, Run! I love it!
We get a look at the Divas title match from last night. Twin Magic was used but Paige almost won the title, but Brie unstuffed her bra and showed the ref her tattoo’s so the match continued, Nikki then hit a Misawa like elbow to retain the title.
Paige makes her way to the ring for this handicap match. The Bella’s soon follow.
Paige vs. The Bella Twins in a handicap match
This match is underway. Paige and Nikki will start this match but she tags in Brie already. Lockup and a clean break. Nikki tags in and does some jumping jacks but Paige spears her down and hits some clubbing blows. Nikki taunts to the crowd and Paige rolls her up for one and a half. Paige with knees to the chest of Nikki on the outside and yells but Brie takes her down. Nikki pulls her in for a two count. Brie tags in and takes her down for a two count. Brie with a reverse chinlock applied. Nikki ties her hair in. JBL mentions that Paige won one of her first titles from Saraya Knight, her own mother. The first time I believe anyone has said her by name on a WWE event. the Briemode knee connects for a two count. The Bellas with the double team as Nikki gets a two count. Nikki with a headscissors, doing some pushups but Paige pushes her on her back to release the hold to avoid being pinned. Brie tags in, Brie goes for a Solid Knee Plus but she hits Nikki! Brie misses a splash in the corner and Paige with several short-arm clotheslines. Paige with several kicks to the head in the corner. Brie knocks her sister down by accident, Rampaige connects but Nikki makes the save. Nikki takes her down in the corner as she tags in. Misawa elbow by Nikki! Rack Attack connecting and the Bellas win it!

Wait a minute, Kevin Owens is here! MGK pushes him and OWENS WITH A POWERBOMB OFF THE STAGE! I LOVE IT! Hopefully this will be the last we ever see of MGK in a WWE Event, I know I’m supposed to be unbiased but I honestly hope that we just saw the end of a career! MGK does not deserve to be in the music industry nor the wrestling industry. Hopefully Kevin Owens just got rid of a piss stain out of both!
We get a look at downtown Cleveland. We then see the amazing moment we just saw of Kevin Owens powerbombing Machine Gun Kelly possibly out of a career!
The New Day are in the ring, and as you can see they are no longer the tag team champions. They say they will teach the PTP the power of POP (Power Of Positivity) and they will regain their tag team titles. Neville makes his way to the ring, the new tag team champs the Prime Time Players soon follows. PTP have a great promo clapping away.

Darren with an arm wringer but Woods ducks several clotheslines, baseball slides through the legs but Young with an atomic drop followed by a swinging neckbreaker for a two count. Kofi tags in, tries to do something but is too hurt to even do a move, Woods tags back in. Off the ropes and a clothesline by D-Young. Titus tags in and Titus slams Young onto Kofi. Rib buster by Titus to Kofi, Big E is tossed out of the ring. Neville flies onto all three of them as Raw Rolls on!

Woods tries to roll him up and he takes him down but Young makes the save. Kofi tags in and takes Young out, Neville tags in Young, Gutbuster to the Ribs! Neville tags in and hits the Red Arrow for the victory!
Winners: PTP & Neville! **** match! What a match! That’s probably the best you can do for a 6 man, give an extra star for the Red Arrow alone! A thing of beauty that move is! Look at the air he got on the replay there!
We get an update of MGK and he is with WWE Doctors!
Dean Ambrose is playing darts and a picture of Rollins is on the dartboard. Kane shows up and is mumbling, Ambrose says that when Kane won the world title, it was hell fire and brimstone Kane, not the one that is here right now. Kane says he is the Director Of Operations in a global company! Ambrose says he will stop at nothing until he is world champion!
The Authority makes their way to the ring, we will find out Seth’s next challenger up next.
We see another moment in the career of Dusty Rhodes. We see some of the all-time best promos of Dusty Rhodes! Tonight following Raw we will have Dusty Rhodes: Celebrating The Dream on the WWE Network

Steph says that is not just a slogan, we have run this company with what is B4B. Triple H says it will not be J&J, Kane or Ambrose. Rollins makes his way to the ring, he wants to know who it is. but he says it doesn’t matter who it is because they are right, there is no one that can take the title away from him. Whoever they name he will beat them, embarrass them, and make them proud! H says that he has proven himself, he’s beaten Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, and many more. He’s proven his point, and said he might need anybody’s help in the first place. Steph says they are proud of him, but without the authority he might of never been champion. So he might have a little less to prove. Triple H says we have invested everything in the future, and sometimes you have to step back and look at your investment and say either the investment is worth it or it is no longer worth it. When you take a lump of coal you put it under pressure, either it crumbles or it will be the diamond you invested in! Because Seth, the pressure is on. OH MY! Here he comes! The former Undisputed Champion! Brock Lesnar! Flanked by Paul Heyman by his side! He has been reinstated! He even has a Suplex City shirt! Paul Heyman and Triple H shake hands, Stephanie and Paul shake hands as well. We get a Suplex City chant! Seth is slowly backing away but Brock is still going forward. Seth leaves the ring. Brock stands tall!
