Tonight’s WWE RAW Kickoff pre-show opens with Byron Saxton, Booker T and Alex Riley at WWE studios in Stamford, CT. They announce Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins. Also, Mark Henry will host an American Rally. We get more hype for tonight’s show and a look back at John Cena and Paul Heyman from last week. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will be here tonight. We also get a look at Jerry Springer. We get more talk on The Bella Twins and go to commercials.
– We come back and get a look at last week’s RAW main event and the beatdown on Roman Reigns. Reigns doesn’t want to wait until Sunday and has challenged Rollins for tonight. They hype Mark Henry vs. Rusev on Sunday. Tonight, Henry will rally America. We get a look at the Bray Wyatt vs. Chris Jericho cage match from last week. Wyatt will face Big Show on tonight’s RAW. We go to the arena where Eden is with Big Show. Show gives Wyatt props but threatens to put out his lights with a knockout punch. We get more RAW hype and that’s it from the panel.
– Tonight’s WWE RAW kicks off from the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana with Paul Heyman in the ring. Heyman introduces himself and says he’s here to give us a preview of what will happen this Sunday. Heyman talks about how Brock Lesnar will up on Cena at Night of Champions until the music interrupts and out comes Cena to the ring. Cena comes to the ring and wonders where The Beast is. Cena cuts Heyman off and says he’s here for a fight – either with Lesnar or Heyman. Heyman says Lesnar’s flight was delayed and he’s on his way here. Heyman assures Cena that Lesnar will be here later. Heyman says he thinks Cena knew the flight was delayed and he called him out like that on purpose. Heyman goes to leave and Cena grabs him. Cena says Heyman is full of crap. Cena threatens to kick Heyman’s ass. Heyman says he will let Cena know when Lesnar arrives. Heyman leaves the ring but Cena cuts him off on the aisle. Cena says he’s going to make sure the fans get a fight. He puts Heyman in a headlock and takes him to the back. We go to the announcers. Heyman has until the half-way point to produce Lesnar or Cena will fight.
– We get a look back at Roman Reigns’ beatdown from last week. Still to come tonight, Reigns vs. Seth Rollins.
Chris Jericho vs. Kane
We go to the ring and out comes Chris Jericho. Back to commercial. Back from the break and we see during commercial, Cena put Heyman into a closet and shut the door. He called on The Great Khali to stand guard and not let Heyman out. Cena spoke some Punjabi to Khali. We go back to the ring and Kane makes his way out. Kane strikes first and they go at it. Kane runs into an elbow and Jericho dumps him over the top rope. Jericho hits a springboard dropkick and sends Kane back to the floor. Jericho goes to the top and leaps out onto Kane and the floor. Jericho charges but Kane drops him with a big right hand. Kane brings it back in for a 2 count. Kane works Jericho over but gets caught with an enziguri. Jericho with another shot to the head for a 2 count. Jericho with chops in the corner. Jericho ends up on the floor and we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Kane is in control in the ring now. Kane runs into a big boot and Jericho nails a dropkick from the corner. Kane turns it back around and goes for another pin. Kane keeps Jericho grounded now. Kane with more offense and a sideslam for a 2 count. Kane goes to the top but gets caught on the way down by a dropkick from Jericho. Jericho makes a comeback but Kane throws him to the apron. Jericho goes to the top and comes down with a big right hand. Jericho with a clothesline in the corner. Jericho with right hands in the corner but Kane drops his face into the second turnbuckle. Jericho comes back and hits a crossbody for 2. Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho but it’s blocked. Kane with a big slam to the mat. Kane tries to launch Jericho into the exposed turnbuckle but it’s blocked. Kane goes for a chokeslam but Jericho counters with a DDT for a 2 count. Kane blocks a Codebreaker and hits a big boot for a 2 count. Jericho blocks a Tombstone and hits the running bulldog. Jericho nails the Lionsault but Kane grabs him by the throat. Jericho slides out of a chokeslam and drops Kane into the exposed turnbuckle. Jericho with a roll up for the win.

– Heyman is backstage on the phone with Lesnar but apparently Lesnar has no reception. Heyman looks worried. Still to come, Rollins vs. Reigns. Back to commercial.
– We get a look back at Mark Henry and Rusev’s arm wrestling contest on SmackDown. They show a video from Olympic gold medalist high jumper Charles Austin with encouraging words for Henry.
– Renee Young is backstage with Roman Reigns as we get a look at The Shield breaking up 3 months ago. Reigns says he stands alone now and cuts a promo on beating Rollins’ face in.
Jack Swagger vs. Bo Dallas
We go to the ring and out comes Jack Swagger with Zeb Colter. Cole plugs Steve Austin‘s podcast, which will feature Kevin Nash this week. We go to commercial.
Back from the break and Bo Dallas has made his way out. They go at it and Bo takes Swagger to the corner. Swagger rams Bo into the opposite corner and hits him with knees. Swagger slams Bo to the mat for a 2 count. Swagger misses in the corner and Bo turns it around. Bo with a clothesline and more offense. Bo with a headlock now. Swagger makes a comeback but Bo cuts him off for a 2 count. Bo with another headlock. Bo with shots in the corner now. Swagger keeps fighting back but Bo knocks him down for a 2 count. Swagger with a sideslam. Bo comes right back with a neckbreaker and a 2 count. Bo mocks Swagger and comes off the second rope but misses a knee drop. Swagger runs over Bo and hits a running knee in the corner. Swagger with a big boot. Swagger goes for a Swagger Bomb but Bo rolls to the apron. Bo with a roll up for 2. Bo with right hands in the corner now. Swagger catches a kick and goes for the Patriot Lock but it’s blocked. Swagger blocks the running Bo-dog but Bo goes for a pin attempt. Swagger locks in the Patriot Lock for the win.

– The announcers plug the WWE Network, Slam City and Night of Champions. Still to come, AJ Lee and Brie Bella vs. Paige and Nikki Bella. Back to commercial.
WWE Divas champion Paige and Nikki Bella vs. AJ Lee and Brie Bella
Back from the break and WWE Divas Champion Paige is making her entrance. Nikki Bella is out next. Brie Bella is out next followed by AJ Lee. Brie and Nikki start out. Brie charges but Nikki quickly tags Paige in and goes to the floor. Paige and Brie go at it now. Paige drops Brie with a kick. Paige skips around the ring and kicks Brie. Paige with knees to the ribs now. Paige keeps Brie down with a headlock now. Brie tries to get up but Paige drops her. Brie fights back with forearms but Paige drops her again. Paige with a headbutt and a 2 count. Brie with a 2 count out of nowhere. Paige comes right back with a headbutt and a headlock. Brie breaks it and goes to tag AJ but Nikki knocks AJ off the apron. Paige hits the Rampaige for the win.
Winners: Nikki Bella and Paige
– After the match, Nikki grabs Brie and hits her with the Rack Attack. Nikki leaves Brie lying and Paige skips around the ring with her title. AJ starts skipping around outside of the ring. AJ taunts Paige and Paige yells at her.
– We get a look back at the eight-man match on SmackDown. Bray Wyatt appears on the big screen and cuts a promo about Big Show.
Big Show vs. Bray Wyatt
We go to the ring and out comes Big Show. We see Paul Heyman backstage looking worried. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and Heyman opens the door and introduces himself to Khali. Heyman doesn’t have reception in Cena’s dressing room and just wants to place a call to Lesnar. Khali grabs Heyman and destroys his phone. Khali puts Heyman back into Cena’s dressing room and jokes around with the broken phone. We go back to the ring and out comes Bray Wyatt with Erick Rowan and Luke Harper. The bell rings and they go at it. Wyatt attacks from behind but Show shoves him into the corner. Wyatt laughs. They lock up and Show takes control. Show with a big shoulder and a body shot in the corner. Wyatt blocks a chop but Show unloads on him. Show with a big chop in the corner. Show misses a splash in the corner and Wyatt comes back with a splash of his own. Wyatt catches a big boot and goes for Show’s knee. Wyatt drops Show with a clothesline and goes to work with rights and lefts. Wyatt with a DDT for a 2 count. Wyatt with a headlock now.
Show fights up and out but runs into a boot in the corner. Wyatt takes Show’s knee out and drops him again for a 2 count. Wyatt with a headlock now. Show finally hits a big sideslam. Show with a shoulder and a clothesline in the corner. Wyatt ducks a clothesline and takes Show off his feet for a 2 count. Wyatt comes off the second rope but Show grabs him by his throat. Show shoves Wyatt into Rowan on the apron. Show drops Wyatt for a 2 count as Harper runs in for the disqualification.
Winner by DQ: Big Show
– After the match, Rowan and Harper try to double team Show but he nails a double chokeslam. Wyatt taunts Show from ringside as Show’s music plays.

WWE tag team champions the Usos and Sheamus vs. Cesaro, Stardust, and Goldust
Back from the break and out comes WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos. Their partner WWE United States Champion Sheamus is out next. Cesaro is out next followed by #1 contenders Stardust and Goldust. Sheamus starts the match with Goldust. They lock up and go to the corner. They lock up again and Goldust drops him with a shoulder. Goldust with strikes now. Sheamus with shoulder blocks. More back and forth. Goldust ducks a Brogue Kick and rolls to the floor. Goldust comes back in and Sheamus takes control. Jey Uso tags in but Goldust takes him to the other corner. Stardust tags in and unloads on Jey. Jey decks him but runs into boots in the corner. Cesaro tags in and hits forearms to the chest of Uso while mocking Sheamus. Cesaro with an uppercut now. Goldust tags in for some double teaming and a 2 count. Jimmy Uso tags in and unloads on Goldust. Uso hits a superkick and a right hand. Uso hits the Rikishi splash on Goldust but Stardust drops him. Stardust tosses Uso to the floor as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Cesaro is in control of Jimmy Uso with a 2 count. They trade shots and Cesaro slams Uso. Cesaro looks to go for the Cesaro Swing but doesn’t and stomps on Uso for a 2 count. Cesaro with a gutwrench slam and a tag to Stardust. Stardust keeps control of Uso and makes a tag to Cesaro. Cesaro with a big uppercut in the corner. Goldust gets the tag and stops Jimmy from tagging Jey. Jimmy with a kick to the head. Sheamus gets the tag and goes at it with Stardust. Sheamus hits Cesaro on the apron but Stardust rolls him up. Sheamus knocks Cesaro the floor. Stardust follows. Sheamus leaps out onto both of them. Sheamus decks Cesaro and comes back in with Stardust. Stardust catches him with a kick. Cesaro tags himself in. Sheamus hits a Brogue on Stardust. Cesaro with a Neutralizer on Sheamus but Uso breaks the pin. Goldust comes in and Uso takes him out. Uso superkicks Cesaro. Jimmy Uso leaps out onto the others while Jey nails the splash on Cesaro for the win.

– It’s announced that the Night of Champions Kickoff pre-show will be one hour long and will feature Christian and Chris Jericho in a Peep Show segment.
– Renee Young talks to Randy Orton backstage about handing Chris Jericho the beating of a lifetime.
– We see Khali standing guard on Heyman backstage. Back to commercial.
– We come back and Cena is knocking on his dressing room door. He tells Heyman its showtime. Cena pulls Heyman out as Heyman begs him to be reasonable. Cena brings Heyman out to the ring. Cena says it’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Heyman tries to escape but Cena pulls him back. They trade promos, Heyman from his knees. Heyman says Lesnar is a bully and Cena won’t be Lesnar, which is why Cena can’t beat Lesnar. Heyman goes on and dares Cena to hit him. Heyman says Cena will fail on Sunday and will never be champion again. Cena apologizes and says he planned this whole thing because he thought Heyman would produce Lesnar, they would fight, and Cena could prove he’s ready for Sunday. Cena goes to leave and Heyman makes a mom joke. Cena rushes him and shoves Heyman out of the ring. The music hits and out comes WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar as Cena runs the ropes. Lesnar stalks around the ring as Cena looks on. Heyman and Lesnar start to leave and fans boo. Lesnar walks back towards the ring and unbuttons his belt. Lesnar backs off again but finally jumps up on the apron. He slowly enters and Cena attacks. They go at it and Lesnar nails a huge German suplex. Lesnar kicks Cena out of the ring and stands tall. Cena rushes back in the ring and takes Lesnar down. Cena brawls with Lesnar to the floor and into the barrier. Cena mounts Lesnar and unloads on the floor. Security comes out to get in between them. Heyman hands Lesnar the title and security holds Cena back. The announcers talk about Lesnar’s nose being broken. Heyman and Lesnar head to the back while Cena hits the ring and poses as his music plays. RAW goes off the air with Cena posing and Cole saying, “Cena took out Lesnar!”
Back from the break and Cameron is in the ring doing her make up. Naomi waits and we see a clip of their problems from last night’s Total Divas. They go at it and start brawling. Cameron knocks Naomi off the apron. Cameron brings it back in and keeps control. Cameron with more offense and a 2 count. Cameron controls most of the match but Naomi gets the win by submission.
Winner: Naomi

WWE Intercontinental champion Dolph Ziggler and R-Truth vs. The Miz and Damien Sandow
Back from the break and The Miz waits in the ring with Damien Sandow, who is dressed like Miz. WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler is out next with R-Truth, who is dressed like Ziggler. Sandow and Ziggler start the match. The end comes when Miz accidentally hits Sandow. Ziggler nails the Zig Zag on Miz for the win.
Winners: Dolph Ziggler and R-Truth
– Tom Phillips is backstage with Seth Rollins for a promo. Rollins makes fun of Roman Reigns. Rollins says he made Roman Reigns and tonight, he takes away anything Reigns could ever be. Rollins says he is the future WWE Champion and the future of WWE. Back to commercial.
Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins
Back from the break and Roman Reigns makes his way through the crowd to a pop. Seth Rollins is out next. The bell rings and they go at it. Rollins goes to the floor and taunts Reigns. Rollins drops Reigns over the top rope. Reigns turns it back around. Rollins slides off Reigns’ shoulders and runs to the floor. Rollins tries to run back in but Reigns pulls him by his legs to the floor. Reigns rams Rollins into the apron and throws him back in. They fight right back out to the floor and Reigns uses the steel steps. Reigns lays out Rollins on the floor as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Reigns is in control. Reigns misses the dropkick on the floor and Rollins dives out, sending Reigns into the barrier. Rollins brings it back in the ring and keeps control. Rollins misses in the corner and Reigns clotheslines him. More back and forth. Reigns slams Rollins for a 2 count. Reigns keeps up and hits the dropkick on the floor. Reigns nails a Superman punch. Rollins ends up hitting a superkick for a 2 count. Rollin goes to the top but Reigns decks him. Reigns goes for a superplex but Rollins blocks it. Rollins fights back and powerbombs Reigns into the opposite corner for a 2 count. Back from the break and Reigns is in control. Reigns misses the dropkick on the floor and Rollins dives out, sending Reigns into the barrier. Rollins brings it back in the ring and keeps control. – We get a look back at Cena and Lesnar brawling earlier. The announcers hype the Night of Champions card.
– We go to the ring, which is decked out in red, white & blue. Michael Cole is in the ring. He welcomes Mark Henry to the ring. Henry comes out to not much of a reaction. He says having to withdraw from the Olympics in 1996 due to an injury still haunts him. Henry is thankful for second chances and this is his. Henry says he’s going to shut Lana and Rusev up at Night of Champions. Fans in the crowd are waving American flags. Henry says he can’t let us down on Sunday. A USA chant starts up. Cole talks about some of Lana’s tweets. Rusev’s music hits and out he comes with Lana to interrupt.
Lana tells Henry to shut up. He tells her to send Rusev to shut him up. Lana goes on and laughs at Henry for losing at the Olympics. She shows us a photo of a Russian gold medalist wrestler. Lana goes on talking about Russia, Henry and Obama. We see Vladimir Putin on the big screen at 11:11pm. Lana says history will repeat itself at Night of Champions when Henry fails. Henry says the Pledge of Allegiance but Rusev attacks him. Rusev beats Henry into the corner and unloads on him. Henry catches Rusev and tosses him across the ring. Rusev drop Henry with a big kick. Lana tells Rusev to crush. Rusev stomps on Henry and tries to put him in The Accolade but Henry resists. Henry fights to his feet and grabs Rusev for a big sit-down chokeslam. Henry sends Rusev to the floor and waves the American flag as his music hits. RAW goes off the air with Henry waving the American flag.
