IN THE RING
John Laurinaitis + WWE champion C.M. Punk: JL said he won’t let anyone challenge his authority, not even John Cena. JL said Cena publically embarrassed him last week. JL said he lost his temper and he went into a fit of destruction. JL said he injured Cena`s pride and he will continue at Over The Limit. JL said if Cena thinks he was humbled by Brock Lesnar, he hasn`t seen anything yet. JL said he won`t apologize to Cena, because that`s only the beginning of what he`s capable of. JL made it clear he was not reprimanded by the WWE board of directors because they know he is tough but fair. JL said he has given Cena the night off so he can have therapy on his arm so he has no excuses at Over The Limit. JL said in the spirit of people power, Cena will do an interview via sattelite tonight to apologize to him for making fun of his voice. JL said anyone who makes fun of his voice in WWE will suffer the consequences. JL said he injured his throat in Japan by Dr. Death Steve Williams. JL claimed he became the Hulk Hogan of Japan – Stone Cold & The Rock all rolled up into one. JL said he turned down the WWE back then despite the lucritive contract offer. JL hyped his match with John Cena at Over The Limit. C.M. Punk interrupted and said JL still has no clue what the people want. Punk said he was going to help JL by telling him what the fans DON`T want to see. Punk said the people don`t want to see John Laurinaitis and they don`t care about his revisionist history. Punk said it was all about JL putting all his chips on Brock Lesnar and then John Cena beat him. Punk said the reason JL had to go compete in Japan was because nobody in the United States would pay a dime to watch him. Punk said he will watch John Cena beat JL at Over The Limit. JL asked Punk if he was finished. Punk said JL was stupid, ugly, and he has no friends – and he`s a gigantic tool box. JL said if he wasn`t in training he would pummel Punk right now. JL punished Punk by booking him in a match with Lord Tensai! Punk said he had a feeling JL would do that because he has always hid behind big men in his career. Punk said he looks forward to the challenge!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
John Laurinaitis & The Big Show + Eve Torres: JL yelled at Big Show for not getting out of his way. Big Show made fun of JL`s voice. JL walked off and Big Show got the evil eye from Eve Torres.
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH
The Big Show defeated WWE Intercontinental champion Cody Rhodes by Countout: Cody got himself intentionally counted out to save his championship. Big Show yelled at Cody to come back and not take the cowards way out. Big Show told Cody to come back or it`s gonna be worse. Eve Torres came out instead.
IN THE RING
The Big Show & Eve Torres: Eve Torres confronted big Show in the ring and told him to apologize for making fun of John Laurinaitis` voice. Big Show said he was just playing around. Eve demanded an apology to her, to the people, and to the General Manager. Big Show said okay fine I`m sorry. Eve said she asked him to APOLOGIZE. Eve reminded Big Show that outside the business there wasn`t a place for a 7 foot tall 441 lb 40 year old freak! Eve demanded an apology again. Big Show said I apologize for making fun of John Laurinaitis` voice.. happy?
SINGLES MATCH
Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero & Jack Swagger) defeated Kofi Kingston w/R-Truth: Jack Swagger interfered..
IN THE RING (INTERVIEW VIA SATTELITE)
Michael Cole (In The Ring) & John Cena (On Screen): John Cena thanked the fans for their support. Cena said he has to get his elbow drained twice a day, and doctors are telling him to take time off. Cena said there is nothing that will keep him from fighting John Laurinaitis at Over The Limit. Cena said he begged the board of directors to not fire JL until after Over The Limit. Michael Cole said he was impressed with what JL has accomplished in his wrestling career. Cole asked Cena if he was scared. Cena said he was scared JL would hurt himself before he gets his hands on him. Cena said in 13 days JL is not a suit, he is his opponent, so he will kick his ass!
WWE DIVAS TAG TEAM MATCH
WWE Divas champion Layla El & Kelly Kelly defeated Natalya Neidhart & Maxine: Former Divas champion Beth Phoenix joined on commentary for the match. No explanation why Kelly and Layla are friends all of a sudden. Layla pinned Maxine. Beth was not impressed.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Chris Jericho & Alberto Del Rio w/Ricardo Rodriguez defeated Randy Orton & Sheamus: Sheamus accidentally took out Orton with a Brogue-kick to the head, leading to Jericho pinning Orton. After the match, Sheamus helped Orton up to his feet, where Orton connected with an RKO!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
John Laurinaitis & Alberto Del Rio & Chris Jericho & Randy Orton + Sheamus: Del Rio, Jericho, and Orton all wanted the the next title shot. They started to brawl right there in the office and ignored JL’s demands to stop. Sheamus came in and chased the heels away. Sheamus then confronted Orton, who said accidents don’t happen in the ring. Orton said he was coming after Sheamus’ title. Sheamus said any time! JL made the World title match at Over The Limit a fourway!
SINGLES MATCH
Brodus Clay w/funkettes defeated The Miz: Somebody kill me.
RINGSIDE SEGMENT: Michael Cole & Jerry Lawler recapped the assault on Triple H by Brock Lesnar last week and said HHH will make comments next week. Cole said the WWE invited Brock Lesnar to RAW tonight but he has sent his legal representative instead.
IN THE RING
(Brock Lesnar’s legal representation) Paul Heyman: Paul Heyman standing in a WWE ring again… SHOCKING! Heyman said he was there as the representative for Brock Lesnar. Heyman hyped Brock Lesnar, who he claimed was mistreated by the WWE audience from day one. Heyman said WWE is different than it was 10 years ago. Heyman said John Lauriniatis signed a legitimate contract with Brock Lesnar. Heyman said Lesnar went on to make some additional demands, which were agreed upon by John Lauriniatis on live television. Heyman said Lesnar is the only man in history to hold the NCAA championship, the WWE championship, and the UFC championship. Heyman said Brock Lesnar is an honest man; he told you he was an ass kicking machine and he would hurt people. Heyman said Brock asked him to read an official statement. Heyman read the statement; “I came back to bring legitimacy back to WWE, that’s exactly what I did. And how was I rewarded? With the same corporate B.S. and politics that led me to leave eight years ago. I don’t regrete what I did to John Cena. I embarrassed him. Another guy I embarrassed was Triple H. He’s always been jealous of me. Triple H lasted one hour in a cell with the Undertaker, but he couldn’t last one minute in a fight with me. Triple H tried to push his weight around because now he has an office job. I had an agreement with the company and he broke it, so I broke his arm! I don’t care about Triple H, I don’t care about you people, and I don’t care about the corporate suits in WWE… because I, Brock Lesnar, am never coming back, because I, Brock Lesnar, QUIT! Crowd cheers and Heyman drops the microphone.
NON (WWE CHAMPIONSHIP) TITLE HANDICAP MATCH
Daniel Bryan & Lord Tensai w/worshiper defeated WWE champion C.M. Punk: Before the match, John Lauriniatis came out and made it a handicap match, adding Daniel Bryan. The heels won, all thanks to Lord Tensai. Afterwards, Daniel Bryan attacked Punk and put him in the Yes-lock!
