IN RING SEGMENT
JERRY LAWLER + CM PUNK: Jerry Lawler got up from the commentary booth and went into the ring. He said that he knows this isn’t usually the way RAW starts but there is something he needed to get off his chest. He brought up what he said about Punk at the end of RAW 1000, and that he had misspoke. That is why last week out of respect he got in the ring and apologized to CM Punk and then he got kicked in the back of the head for it. Lawler then said that last week he gave an apology and this week he wants one from CM Punk. Lawler then stood in the ring and waited for Punk to come out, after a moment his music hit and out came the WWE Champion. Punk asked that Lawler wanted an apology for him doing his job? Punk then quoted Lawler from RAW 1000 and then said that what he did to the Rock was justified and that it was Lawler who turned his back on the universe for painting the WWE Champion as a bad guy. Punk then said that Lawler got what he deserved but if Lawler wants an apology then he will get one, Punk then said that he was sorry that all it took to get into the hall of fame was beating a bunch of nobodies from Memphis. Punk then laid into Lawler and how pathetic his career has been here in the WWE and that he was sorry for the man Lawler is become. Punk then got in his face asking if he wanted to fight him, and then said that Lawler was a commentator and he is the best in the world. Lawler said that he came out for an apology not a fight. Punk said that he knows that but he is thinking it, and then he asked who Lawler thought was the best in the world? Because he will beat him, if he wants, and then promised that King will leave embarrassed tonight either by Punk beating him or by Lawler being a coward and not fighting him. Punk then got out of the ring and made his way up the ramp and Lawler yelled back that he would think about it as he then went back to the booth.
SINGLES MATCH
Ryback defeated Jack Swagger via pin fall: Ryback won with Shell Shocked.
DIVAS MATCH
Layla El defeated Natalya via pin fall: Layla won with a Kick to the back of the head.
IN RING SEGMENT
VICKIE GUERRERO + AJ LEE: Right after the match Vickie Guerrero got in the ring and told Layla that she was done and she could go now. Once she was gone Vickie said that she has something to say, and that was last week AJ Lee made a match between Chris Jericho and Dolph Ziggler with Jericho’s career on the line and Ziggler’s money in the bank was on the line, and that was inexcusable and that no one on the roster will speak up about her then she will and if anyone for the Board was watching then they should put an adult back in charge not a mental unstable child. AJ’s music hit and out came to the ring skipping and smiling. AJ acted like she was going to say something and then instead slapped Vickie across the face and then attacked her, causing Vickie roll out the ring and run backstage, and AJ then just smiled.

BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
DANIEL BRYAN: Daniel Bryan attending anger management last week, where he said that he doesn’t belong there and that he couldn’t be calmer. As they began the session a kid walked in with a goat mask on and Bryan then flipped out on the kid. The person heading the session said that was his kid and he is a goat in the school play. Bryan then walked back to his seat as the person calmed their kid down.
IN RING SEGMENT
JERRY LAWLER: Jerry Lawler got up on the desk and got everyone’s attention. He said that Punk said that he faced a bunch of no bodies, and so Lawler listed off all of those so-called “no bodies”. Lawler then said that he is a hall of famer, and that means you stand up for yourself, and while he might not be the best in the world he doesn’t think CM Punk is either so he will fight him tonight. Lawler then got off the table and walked to the back to get ready for the match later on.
SINGLES MATCH – NON TITLE
John Cena defeated The Miz© via pin fall: Cena won with the AA. Mid-match Josh Matthews joined Cole on commentary.
VIDEO PACKAGE: Triple H Highlight – Quad injury and comeback.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
DANIEL BRYAN + KANE: Back to the anger management class with Daniel sitting there listening to come one sharing about what made them angry. Daniel was asked about his thoughts on the sharing. Daniel then vented about how AJ and what she has put him through. Daniel was then interrupted by the last member of anger management class who arrived late which was Kane. Daniel then began to flip out over him as Kane took a seat.

Santino Marella defeated Heath Slater via pin fall: Marella won with the Cobra.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Brodus Clay & Sin Cara defeated Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow via pin fall: Clay won with a splash on Rhodes.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
DANIEL BRYAN + KANE: Back at the anger management, Kane was asked to take off his helmet, and does so. Then when asked to tell about himself he said that he is the Devil’s favorite son. Then Kane was asked about Kane’s childhood. Kane then explained his past from his brother, to work, and even brought up Katie Vick. They then end the meeting and assigned everyone to make an anger collage.

SINGLES MATCH
R-Truth defeated Daniel Bryan via count out: Truth got Bryan to start yelling NO! outside of the ring and lost focus on the count.
IN RING SEGMENT
TRIPLE H: Triple H was introduced just before his music hit and out he came to the ring. He said let’s cut to the chase as everyone wants to know if he is going to retire or not. He then paused for a moment before saying the one thing he has learned about the WWE is never say never, he said there was two things he wanted to do and one of them was to retire before it retired him, and that everyone comes to a crossroad in their career, and you have to ask yourself is it time? Time you cannot fight, it will win and he never wanted to be the guy that was just hanging out, and hung on to long. That being said for the first time in his career he finds himself at this crossroad and Brock Lesnar has made him ask this question, is he done? And his answer is he doesn’t know as he is beat up and broken… again. He went on to say that he wants to be the Cerebral Assassin, The Game, The King of Kings and that he is going to kick Brock Lesnar’s ass because that is what he does. That’s what he wants to say but he can’t and the truth is because he doesn’t know if he can, and Brock Lesnar has forced him to look at himself and ask if he is done, and if he can’t say that he can come back and beat Brock Lesnar and that he would be better than he was before, then maybe he has answered his own question. He then said thank you to everyone, and that whether you love them or hate them every superstar comes out here and puts it all on the line for their entertainment and that every person stands back there they question themselves whether anyone would care when they came out, and he then said he could safely say that he feels his entire career everyone did care, and so he said thank you for that from the bottom of his heart, and thank you for letting him play the game, and hopefully if he has succeeded in his career then they will never forget him. Triple H then dropped the microphone and stood in the ring taking in the fans standing ovation as they chanted “Thank you Hunter”.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Randy Orton & Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler & Alberto Del Rio via pin fall: Sheamus won with a Brogue Kick on Ziggler. Ziggler had come out first to Jericho’s music and said that no one will see Jericho ever, ever again because of him.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
JERRY LAWLER + JOHN CENA: Jerry Lawler was with Cena and said that while he has always respected John, he needs to face off against Punk by himself and show that he can do it himself and if Cena were to interfere in the match that would just be another thing for Punk to throw in his face. Cena nodded and then wished Lawler luck in his match and walked off.
SINGLES MATCH
Zach Ryder defeated David Otunga via pin fall: Ryder won with the Rough Ryder. After the match Kane who had been sitting at commentary went into the ring and went to Choke Slam Ryder but then let go of him and instead choke slammed Otunga.
IN RING SEGMENT
JOSH MATTHEWS + AJ LEE: Josh Matthews announced that the fans have voted and the CM Punk / Lawler match will be a Steel Cage match. AJ Lee then came out and said that regardless of the outcome tonight CM Punk will defend the Championship at Night of Champions against her choice, John Cena.
STEEL CAGE MATCH
CM Punk defeated Jerry Lawler via submission: Punk won with the Anaconda Vice.
IN RING SEGMENT
CM PUNK + JERRY LAWLER + JOHN CENA: After the match CM Punk continued to go to work on Lawler, and then got a chain and a microphone. Punk then chained the door shut with both himself and Lawler inside, and he said that he wanted Lawler to admit that he is the best in the world. Lawler refused to and so Punk then declared himself the best in the world and then continued the assault on Lawler. Cena then ran down to the ring and yelled at people to lift the cage, and then he yelled at Punk that he had way over the line, and that Lawler had, had enough. Punk got a few more blows in before the cage began to rise and then he rolled out of the ring with the Championship as Cena entered the ring to attend to Jerry Lawler.
