VIDEO PACKAGE: Replay of Big Show’s assault of John Cena to end last week’s RAW.
IN RING SEGMENT
JOHN CENA + DANIEL BRYAN + CM PUNK + JERICHO + KANE + BIG SHOW: John Cena’s music hit to start the show and out he came to the ring. Cena said that after seeing the footage of how last week ended he could see why everyone would be upset, but instead of getting angry and vengeful he wanted to thank Jericho and the Big Show. He went on because Jericho warned Cena that he needed to be ready for anything in Money in the Bank and last week was a perfect example of that and now he has been educated. Cena then said that he stands by what he said last week that Big Show would go home from Money in the Bank empty handed and that he will win Money in the Bank himself and cash in to become WWE Champion again! At that moment Daniel Bryan made his way out chanting YES! over, and over again. When Bryan got into the ring Cena said even in a weird six degrees of separation sort of way, Daniel Bryan agrees with him. Bryan said actually he didn’t even realize Cena was out here as Cena isn’t relevant to him, then said that isn’t true because at Money in the Bank he will defeat CM Punk and become the new WWE Champion, and if Cena managed to win Money in the Bank, then his relevance to him would be Cena being the first ever to cash in and lose. Cena said that those are strong words but he knows of at least one person who disagrees with him. Then Punk came out and said actually John, a lot more people disagree with Daniel. Punk then started asking people if they disagree with Daniel leading people to chant YES! Bryan then yelled that this was enough and that he is begging someone anyone to have an original thought and not steal his catchphrase. Punk said he is an original thought that Bryan’s ex-girlfriend is the special guest referee and she will be the one counting Bryan’s shoulders on the mat 1…2…3… and then that would just leave Punk and Cena once again. Chris Jericho’s music then hit and out he came and said that, that wasn’t an original thought at all, and that Daniel Bryan shouldn’t complain about his catchphrase getting stolen because it happens to him all the time. Jericho then said that Bryan needed to think about other catchphrases. Bryan told him no asked him, but Jericho cut him off telling him to please shut the hell up, and then Jericho welcomed everyone to Monday Night Jericho, and then told everyone in the ring that after tonight none of them would ever be the same again. Jericho then smiled and said that Bryan just needed a few extra arrows in his quiver. Jericho then turned to Cena and told him that he does need to prepare and that he is going to win Money in the Bank and challenged anyone to tell him otherwise. Kane’s music then hit and out came the Big Red Monster. Kane got right in Jericho’s face and said otherwise. Then the Big Show’s music hit and out he came to the ring. Before he go to the ring Bryan attacked Cena from behind which lead to a brawl between all six of them, in the end though Big Show got the upper hand as everyone else was laid out and his music hit as he made his way to the back.
EIGHT-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
Christian, Santino Marella, R-Truth & Kofi Kingston defeated Darren Young, Titus O’Neil, Cody Rhodes & David Otunga via pin fall: Marella hit Otunga with Cobra for the win after all of Otunga’s team abandoned him, and Brodus Clay threw Otunga back into the ring.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
TEDDY LONG + ALBERTO DEL RIO: Teddy Long was dancing in his office to Brodus’s music when Alberto Del Rio came in and told him how glad he was to see Long back in power where he belongs. Long didn’t buy it and asked what it was that Del Rio wanted. Alberto said that he was named number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship the Friday after Wrestlemania and has yet to get a one on one chance for it, and begged Long to give him what he deserved. Teddy said he didn’t think Del Rio deserved anything but the board of directors wanted him to inform Del Rio that he is now the number one contender, and at Money in the Bank, Del Rio will face against Sheamus for the championship. Alberto began to celebrate but Teddy stopped him saying that was the Board’s decision but his decision is that Del Rio will be in action next in a surprise match.
IN RING SEGMENT
ALBERTO DEL RIO + SIN CARA: Alberto Del Rio came out for his match and his surprise opponent was Sin Cara. Before Sin Cara finished his entrance Del Rio assaulted him and then tossed him out of the ring and then locked him in the cross arm breaker as officials tried to get him to break the hold, as the match never officially started.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
AJ LEE + DANIEL BRYAN: AJ Lee was backstage when Daniel Bryan came up to her and said that he had a confession to make and that was he always cared for her and that he was frustrated at how he acted and then gave her a flower. AJ said that was very sweet of him and it must have nothing to do with the fact that she is the special guest referee for his title match. She then said that he never cared about her and then she bit the flower off the stem and spit it out and said that she cannot wait to win her match tonight and run into the arms of the man the WWE Universe views her as her soul mate. She then skipped off leaving Daniel Bryan standing there.
VIDEO PACKAGE: HHH/Lesnar & Paul Heyman situation
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
PAUL HEYMAN: Paul Heyman was aired live via satellite to say that Brock Lesnar has come to a deciscion regarding HHH’s challenge to a match for SummerSlam, and that Brock will deliver that live in three weeks at the 1000th episode of RAW. Heyman knows why HHH wants this match though it isn’t for the money but because this is his exit strategy because if he gets this match Brock will end his career and HHH can then become the businessman and air apparent, and everyone around him will say that he was the last of a dying breed and that he went out on his shield because this isn’t a match if Brock accepts it will be a mercy killing. Heyman then let out a laugh.
MIXED TAG TEAM MATCH
Sheamus & AJ Lee defeated Vickie Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler via pin fall: AJ won after hitting Vickie with the Shinning Wizard.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
AJ LEE + CM PUNK: After the match AJ was backstage walking around looking for CM Punk she found him on the phone, and he told her to hold which she didn’t like asking him who he was on the phone with. Punk told the person he would call them back and AJ then asked him what he thought of her match. He said he was on the phone with his sister and he didn’t see the match. This upset AJ as she couldn’t believe he wasn’t paying attention to her and then she walked off leaving him puzzled.
VIDEO PACKAGE: Heath Slater and the WWE Legends.
SINGLES MATCH
Heath Slater defeated Doink the Clown via pin fall: Slater won with the E-Minor. After the match DDP came out to the ring and went to give Slater a handshake afterwards though DDP pulled Slater into a Diamond Cutter.
NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH
Big Show defeated Kane via pin fall: Big Show won with a Chokeslam on top of a chair.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
TEDDY LONG + EVE TORRES + AJ LEE: Teddy Long was backstage and ran into Eve and she said that it was so good to see him and asked how he was. Teddy said that since she was gone for a few weeks he had something for her, so the fans could remember her, and put a Hello tag on her like what she made him wear. Teddy then laughed and walked off. Eve began to storm away when she ran into a sulking AJ, and she then said to AJ that she has been real busy lately, and that she was taking a page out her book, and that AJ should leave the mind games to the adults and AJ should just go in a corner and cry. AJ then said that EVE would do anything to get attention, and asked her who she was going to brown nose next? AJ then said that she would show her how to get attention, she would show everyone, and then she walked off leaving Eve confused.
SINGLES MATCH
Tyson Kidd defeated Tensai w/ Sakamoto via pin fall: Kidd won with a roll-up pin. After the match Tensai beat on Sakamoto in the ring.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
CHRIS JERICHO + DANIEL BRYAN: Jericho was standing there when Bryan walked up to him and asked him if Jericho was wearing his stupid jacket tonight, and then Jericho made fun of Bryan’s jacket and beard, but then stopped and said they need to focus on embarrassing John Cena, and Bryan replied by saying yes, and then began to chant it while Jericho at first was telling him to stop but then began to try to counter it with his own catchphrases.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
CM PUNK + JOHN CENA: Punk said that since he has become WWE Champion he feels like he has grown as a man and as a leader, and he feels that Cena should follow his lead. Cena quickly agreed, patted Punk on the back and then walked out of the locker room.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
TYSON KIDD + JOSH MATTHEWS + TENSAI: Tyson Kidd was with Josh Matthews in the locker room and then asked Kidd how he must be feeling since he qualified for Money in the Bank and just now beat Tensai. Kidd said that he is feeling great, but before he could go any further Tensai attacked him from behind and laid him out in the locker room.
TAG TEAM MATCH
John Cena & CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan & Chris Jericho ended in a no contest: Cena and Jericho battled out of the ring area leaving Bryan and Punk in the ring. While they were down AJ came out and set up a table at ringside. She went to jump threw it but both Punk and Bryan try to stop her and she ended up pushing the two of them threw the table to end the show as she chanted YES!
