BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
AJ LEE: AJ was backstage talking to Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and Kane. AJ said that she knew that Bryan still had feelings for her but they have to drift apart. She then said to Kane that when she sees him she loses all inhibitions and wants to get wild but they both know he’s a monster not a man. Then she said that she said that she believes Punk is her soul mate but she feels it’s best if they all go there separate ways. The camera then turns around to show that AJ was talking into a mirror.
IN RING SEGMENT
VICKIE GUERRERO: This week’s general manager, Vickie Guerrero came out to the stage and said that she will be running Raw, and Smackdown this week. She feels that soon she will become the full time general manager, and she is excited to bring everyone a great show, and to start off the show there will be a three-way elimination match.
THREE WAY ELIMINATION MATCH
Daniel Bryan defeated CM Punk & Kane: CM Punk eliminated Kane with the GTS, and then Bryan eliminated Punk with a kick to the head. AJ came out and skipped around the ring during the match, which distracted Kane once again, which led to his elimination.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
VICKIE GUERRERO + ALBERTO DEL RIO + RICARDO + DOLPH ZIGGLER: Alberto Del Rio went into Vickie’s office with Ricardo and gave her some roses. Del Rio then said that he was the rightful number one contender to the World Heavyweight Championship. Dolph Ziggler then came into the room and said that he is the real contender for the title. The two then began to argue and Vickie then interjected herself and said that she has made a number one contenders match between Dolph and Alberto tonight with a contract for a World Heavyweight Championship match for this week’s Smackdown hanging on a pole. Both men begrudgingly agree, Ricardo hands the roses over to Vickie in a vase. Then Ziggler took the vase and threw it against the walls before walking off.
SINGLES MATCH
The Big Show defeated Brodus Clay via pin fall: Big Show won with a Cross-body after Brodus’s knee went out.
VIDEO PACKAGE: Hyped Cena granting his 300th wish for the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
AJ LEE + KANE: AJ was with Kane and the two were talking. Kane said that he is not one with his feelings, but AJ makes him feel things he never felt possible, and he isn’t boyfriend material. AJ said that their relationship was unconventional. Kane stopped her and said that he doesn’t do relationships. He said with everything he is and does, he even finds AJ mentally unstable so with that he said that they should stay away from one another from now on and then told her good bye and walked away. AJ then started to cry and laugh at the same time.
UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH
Santino Marella© defeated Jack Swagger via pin fall: Santino won with a Cobra Strike.
IN RING SEGMENT
JOHN CENA + CHRIS JERICHO + VICKIE GUERRERO: John Cena made his way down to the ring. Cena said that earlier today on twitter he announced that he had a major announcement for tonight. He said that lately the WWE has become a bad episode of Star Wars, and then he went on to tell a Star Wars parody about Show Vader and Cena Skywalker. Once he is done with his story he is about to finally make his announcement when the lights went out and Jericho’s music hit and out he came to the ring. Jericho asked Cena what the hell he was talking about, he should just get on with his announcement, and then get the hell out of the ring as it is his night not Cena’s. Cena then announced in order to stop Big Show from winning Money in the Bank, he is going to enter the match himself to stop him. Cena then said that he just isn’t going to go in there to stop Show he is going win the whole thing. Jericho then said that Cena’s arrogance never seizes to amaze him, for Cena to just assume he can walk in there and win it. Jericho then said that Money in the Bank isn’t just for fun it is a serious match, and it is a career ender, so instead of worrying about stopping Big Show, maybe Cena should worry about Jericho, because he is officially entering himself into the Money in the Bank match. Vickie Guerrero then came out on to the stage and said there will be two Money in the Bank matches one for the WWE Championship and the other for the World Heavyweight Championship. Vickie then said that only former WWE Champions can enter the WWE title Money in the Bank match, so it will be Kane, The Big Show, Chris Jericho and John Cena. Vickie then added that tonight’s main event would be Chris Jericho taking on John Cena.
SINGLES MATCH
Sycho Sid defeated Heath Slater via pin fall: Sid won with the Powerbomb. Before the match Slater said that he was the one man band and he doesn’t care what Piper, Vader or Cyndi Lauper thinks of him because he is one of the top stars on Raw, and he rules the world.
CONTRACT ON A POLE MATCH – #1 CONTENDERSHIP TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHP
Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio fought to a no contest. The contract fell on the floor and as they fought over it Sheamus came out and announced Vickie Guerrero has made a triple threat match on Smackdown between Alberto, Dolph and Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Championship.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
CM PUNK + AJ LEE: CM Punk was in his locker room and AJ came up behind him and surprised him. AJ wanted to apologize for the outcome of his match and so she is going to dedicate her performance in the Diva Summertime Battle Royal to him. He said that was fine but after her match they should sit down and talk about what exactly is going on between the two of them. AJ smiled and said that sounded good, and she knows what he is going to say and she would be open to taking things to the next level, and then she skipped away leaving Punk frustrated.
DIVA’S SUMMERTIME BATTLE ROYAL
AJ Lee won last eliminating Vickie Guerrero. The final four was AJ Lee, Beth Phoenix, Layla and Vickie Guerrero. After the match AJ celebrated in the ring chanting “Yes” like Daniel Bryan.
SINGLES MATCH
John Cena defeated Chris Jericho via Disqualification: Jericho had Cena in the Walls of Jericho, when Big Show came into the ring and hit Cena with a leg drop causing the disqualification. Jericho was upset but left as Show starred at him. Big Show then hit Cena with a Choke Slam and then the Colossal Clutch as the show went off the air.
