John Cena + Mike “The Miz” Mizanin w/Alex Riley + Wade Barrett: John thanked the crowd for cheering. John said he had to know that the fans still believe. John said last week he heard the WWE universe chant to never give up for the first time. John said he took a chance to end Nexus but lost. John said if he doesn’t listen to Wade he’ll be fired. John said he’s been there a long time. John said this isn’t about championships or money, this is what he lives for and it’s all he has. John said he might have to do some bad things. The Miz came out. Miz said he’s going to be the captain of team RAW. Miz said unlike Cena he doesn’t assemble his teams by judging them personally. Miz offered John a spot on his team. Miz said he knows that John takes pride in RAW and wasn’t happy when Big Show betrayed RAW. John said it was a really good idea but he doesn’t want Miz to be the captain. John said he’d be the captain but Miz said he called it first. Wade Barrett came out. Wade said all he cared about was Nexus and the WWE title. Wade said he needed John’s attention on being in his corner at Bragging Rights. John said he could do both. Wade asked John if he was disobeying. Alex said John should listen to Wade because Miz might cash in his contract and beat Wade Barrett for the title. Miz thanked Alex for ruining the surprise but said he was right. Michael Cole received an email saying that Miz would face Cena to figure out the team RAW captain and there would be a series of qualifying matches for Team RAW. Miz said he would win and might even cash in his contract. Miz said Wade can do nothing about it. Wade attacked Miz so Alex and Miz jumped him. John watched and did nothing until Wade told him to help. John hit Alex with the AA.
TEAM RAW QUALIFYING MATCH
R-Truth w/Eve Torres defeated Ted DiBiase Jr. w/Maryse Ouellet to qualify: Ted was in control until Goldust distracted him with the Million dollar title. Truth hit the lie detector moments later for 3.
TEAM RAW QUALIFYING MATCH
John Morrison defeated Tyson Kidd: John and Tyson fought back and forth until John hit the standing Spanish fly for 3.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty & Husky Harris & Heath Slater & Justin Gabriel: David asked Michael and Husky if they had anything to say and wanted to know if they were in Nexus or not. Husky said maybe. Wade came in and said if David wanted to know what was going on to ask him. Wade told Michael and Husky to get lost and asked David if he was jealous. Wade said the only thing they needed to worry about was volunteering to take on Randy Orton tonight so he would be softened up for Bragging Rights. David volunteered but then said Justin was the better choice.
TEAM RAW QUALIFYING MATCH
Santino Marella defeated Zack Ryder: Zack destroyed Santino until he dodged the Rough Ryder and hit the cobra for 3. After the match Tamina jumped into his arms and knocked him over. Tamina helped him up and gave him a hug.
TEAM RAW QUALIFYING MATCH
WWE champion Randy Orton defeated Justin Gabriel: Randy got David and Heath banned from ringside early on. Back from commercial Randy Orton was in control. Justin managed to fight back with some kicks and a senton. Justin remained in control until Randy hit the inverted backbreaker. Justin managed to fight back and went for the 450 splash. Randy didn’t roll out of the way completely and got hurt. Randy hit the RKO for 3.
TEAM RAW QUALIFYING MATCH
Sheamus defeated WWE United States champion Daniel Bryan: Daniel had a valiant effort and nearly won at one point but ended up being hit with the brogue kick for 3.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
R-Truth & John Cena: Truth said the other guys weren’t happy about him joining Nexus and asked if Cena would attack him if Wade told him too. Truth said he knew John was in a tough spot and didn’t want to do what Barrett tells him but if he doesn’t he’ll get fired. Truth said there was another way out of this.
TEAM RAW QUALIFYING MATCH
C.M. Punk defeated Evan Bourne: Punk was traded for Edge. Evan went for a hurricarana on the outside but Punk caught him and swung him into the guard rail. Evan fought back in the ring and almost hit the shooting star press but Punk defeated him with the G2S. After the match Punk attacked Evan’s shoulder and locked in the anaconda vise to write Evan out of storylines while he heals from an injury.
IN THE RING
Natalya + WWE Diva’s champion(s) Lay-Cool (Michelle McCool & Layla): Natalya said Bret has taught her a lot but the most important thing is to always stand up for herself. Natalya said at Bragging Rights the only thing Lay-Cool will be throwing is a temper tantrum because she’s winning. Michelle and Layla came out. Michelle said they respected her for coming out on HD TV. Layla said Natalya inherited her dad’s facial hair gene. Layla said Natalya has to shave before every single show. They showed a picture of Natalya with a beard. Natalya said they both proved to be the most annoying Divas in the WWE. Lay-Cool thought Natalya was jealous because they were skinny. Layla said they were the best there is, was, and ever will be. Lay-Cool tried leaving but a couple of diva’s came down the ramp and threw Layla into the ring. Natalya went for the sharpshooter but Michelle saved her.
TEAM RAW QUALIFYING MATCH
Mike “The Miz” Mizanin w/Alex Riley defeated John Cena: The match was made no DQ. Alex Riley attacked Cena on the outside, causing Miz to gain control. Miz and Cena fought back and forth and Cena eventually incapacitated Riley with the STF. Husky and Michael attacked Cena and hit him with a swinging neckbreaker and running senton so Miz could win the match. After the match Cena attacked Husky and Michael until Wade pulled him off. Wade dared Cena to hit him. Michael Cole got an email saying that next week Michael and Wade would take on Cena and Randy Orton. Wade said if Cena lost he would induct Michael and Husky into Nexus. Wade dared Cena to hit him and called him a coward. Wade said Cena was scared that he would get embarrassed again like at Hell In A Cell. Wade said Cena wasn’t a real man. Wade turned his back on Cena and said he was truly pathetic. Wade said Cena let everybody down and called him a disgrace. Cena left the ring. Wade said until next week Cena can’t see him.
