Wade Barrett + NXT Rookies + RAW General Manager Bret “The Hitman” Hart: Wade introduced himself for those who didn’t know him. Wade said the GM of RAW demanded he come into the ring and apologize for his actions last week. Wade said he wanted to invited the rest of the NXT rookies down to the ring. The NXT Rookies came in through the crowd, except for the released Daniel Bryan. The commentators and time keeper and everyone else around the ring left through the audience. Wade asked Heath to apologize and he said absolutely not. Heath said he would do it again in a heart beat. Justin said he wouldn’t apologize and that he still has goosebumps from last week. Skip Sheffield said no apologies, no regrets. Michael Tarver said the look of fear on everyone’s face lived on the sweetest of all of his dreams, why should he apologize when no one can make him. Darren Young said he had the time of his life last week. David Otunga said after the way they were treated WWE should apologize to them. Wade said it was unanimous. Wade said the problem with NXT was they were treated like animals and when you treat people with animals sooner or later they behave like animals. Wade said they were made to change in a broom cupboard like locker room, they competed in ridiculous challenges, they were at the mercy of over zealous WWE pros, and worst of all they had WWE management who saw fit to change rules at a moments notice, who eliminated them on a whim, and tried to make an international joke out of all of them. Wade said jokes were meant to be funny but no one laughed after RAW last week because they destroyed the ring, beat up the WWE champion, and impressed everybody who was watching them. Bret “The Hitman” Hart came out. Bret said they looked proud of themselves, but back where he’s from 8 on 1 makes you cowards. Bret said they attacked John Cena, the SES, the security, the ring announcer, the time keeper, and they manhandled a hall of famer. Wade said that was funny because they used to have Daniel Bryan, Daniel had some remorse and you will never ever see him here again. Bret said despite everything John Cena will be at Fatal 4 Way next Sunday. Wade said this has nothing to do with John Cena or the fans, it’s between them and WWE management. Wade said besides a few NXT pros, they don’t have a problem with anyone in the WWE locker room. Wade said they could stay there all night arguing but he thinks they should get down to business. Wade said he has a contract and title opportunity but the group behind him has some demands of their own. David said they all want guaranteed contracts, dressing rooms, and first class travel accommodations. David said if Bret failed to comply, then last week was just the beginning. Wade said before Bret answered, 2 weeks ago Vince informed him he would have difficult decisions as GM. Wade said this decision is easy, the group of men he has with him are well condition athletes who could be the future with a contract. Bret said it is his job to find new fresh talent, but his answer is no. Wade told Bret he was making a big mistake. Bret said Wade’s the one making the mistakes. Bret said the truth is on account of Wade’s actions, he’s not the next breakout star anymore. Bret said Wade isn’t getting a title shot anymore because he’s fired. Bret told them to get the hell out of the ring before he calls the police for trespassing.
WWE UNITED STATES TITLE FATAL 4 WAY MATCH
Mike “The Miz” Mizanin defeated Zack Ryder and R-Truth and John Morrison to win the WWE United States title: John Morrison gave his glasses to some kid who began screaming at the top of his lungs. The heels attacked the faces and Morrison threw Zack out of the ring before hitting Miz with a leg lariat. Miz rolled out of the ring so Truth and Morrison started wrestling. Truth rolled up Morrison but Zack broke it up. Miz tripped Truth at the ropes and Morrison rolled up Zack for 2. Zack jumped over the top rope but Miz and Truth moved. Miz kicked down Truth and walked into a knee to the face and sunset slip powerbomb off the apron from Morrison. Back from commercial Morrison was hitting Miz in the face with a pele kick. There was a 3 man tower of doom and the third man fell on top of Miz. Truth started beating down everyone and hit Zack with an axe kick. Miz caused Truth to go over the top rope and baseball slid Morrison out of the ring. Miz hit his corner clothesline on Zack and was then pulled out of the ring and clothesline by Morrison. Truth hit the lie detector but Morrison broke up the pin. Morrison and Truth threw Miz over the top rope and Morrison tried to hit his springboard kick but Truth moved. Zack hit Truth with the Rough Ryder Leg Lariat and Morrison hit starship pain on Truth. Miz threw Morrison out of the ring and pinned Truth for 3.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Josh Mathews & Randy Orton: Josh asked Randy how his shoulder is. Randy said anything can happen in a Fatal 4 Way match, but he’s predicting that this Sunday another title will be changing hands. Randy said regarding his shoulder you should watch his match with Sheamus and see what happens. Josh asked Randy what he reaction was to what happened with the NXT guys. Randy said a part of him respects what the NXT guys did but another part of him thinks they’re just a bunch of punks and if you ask him they deserve to be fired or have their brains beaten in.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Mark Feuerstein & The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie) + Ted DiBiase Jr. w/Virgil + The Big Show: Mark plugged his stupid show since Big Show is on it and said the Bella’s would be great on Royal Pains. Ted DiBiase Jr. walked in with Virgil. Ted said there could be a shining car waiting for Mark outside if he makes Ted co-guest host. Mark said no because he has integrity. Ted said he’s not asking. Mark said he’s a little scared of him but he loves being a guest host and while he would love to let Ted co guest host with him, the fact of the matter is he’s not going to. The Big Show was standing behind them so Mark started making fun of Ted. Ted told Virgil to handle this and Big Show made himself noticed. Show asked Ted if he was looking for trouble. The Big Show said tonight it would be him and Mark vs. Ted and Virgil. Ted said deal. The Big Show and Mark joked around a bit after Ted left. The Bella Twins looked unimpressed.
SINGLES MATCH
Evan Bourne defeated Chris Jericho by DQ: Chris started in control but then Evan hit a hurricarana and a drop kick to the side of Chris’s head. Evan started kicking Chris but ran into a clothesline. Chris dropped Evan with a belly to back suplex and choked him on the ropes. Evan fought out of a headlock but was thrown into the turnbuckle. Evan kicked Chris a few more times and dropped him with a running kick. Chris rolled through a sunset flip and tried to lock in the walls but Evan reversed it. Chris hit a code breaker but Evan kicked out! Chris started attacking Evan at the ropes and wouldn’t stop so he got disqualified. Evan kicked Chris in the side of the head and hit the Air Bourne.
IN THE RING
WWE champion John Cena + NXT Rookies + WWE Superstars: John said he was given the night off and thanked Bret for having his best interests at mind. John said after last week he thinks his best interest is to stand in that ring and handle things the only way he knows how. John thanked Bret for not caving into those ridiculous demands by the radicals. John said there’s a portion of him that admires what they did last week because desperate times call for desperate members and the NXT guys were desperate. John said the plan was almost brilliant but their genius was blinded by their ignorance. John said they had a problem with WWE management and they solved it by taking away RAW from the fans. John said they made 5 million more enemies and destroyed the ring so now the superstars want their head on a plate. John said Wade getting fired will not fix the problem. John said if the group was crazy enough to stop a broadcast getting arrested is the least of their worries. John said he hopes that the NXT guys are watching because after Fatal 4 Way he will demand they come out and finish this each week. John said they have nothing to lose and all he has is his word and his word is that he will not press charges. The NXT guys showed up in the audience. John said they thought he was a target but they took the target off his back and put it on their heads. The NXT guys jumped the barricade when some WWE superstars came down to help Cena including some heels. Santino Marella didn’t fit in at all. Edge and Sheamus even helped out and Sheamus brought a pipe. The NXT guys started to run away but the WWE stars chased them. Somehow Mark Henry wound up running alongside some of them. They chased the NXT guys out of the building.
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Josh Mathews & Sheamus: Josh asked Sheamus why he helped John Cena. Sheamus said he’s not letting a bunch of rookies ruin his WWE championship match this Sunday and if anyone’s going to take care of John Cena it’s going to be him.
DIVA’S TAG TEAM MATCH
WWE Diva’s champion Eve Torres & Gail Kim defeated Alicia Fox & Maryse Ouellet: Maryse and Eve started off. Eve kicked Maryse but Alicia distracted her enough for Maryse to kick her in the back of the head. Alicia tagged in and hit Eve with a northern lights suplex. Maryse tagged back in and slammed Eve down. Alicia accidentally kicked Maryse in the face and walked into an awkward neckbreaker for 3.
TAG TEAM MATCH
The Big Show & Mark Feuerstein defeated Ted DiBiase Jr. & Virgil: Big Show and Ted started. Ted got behind Show but was slammed back. Show slammed his ass into Ted’s face at the corner and then smacked him in the chest. Ted poked Show in the eye and locked in a front chancery but was thrown across the ring. Ted tagged in Virgil. Virgil looked unimpressed. Virgil was pulled into the ring but then rolled out. Mark grabbed Virgil and threw him into the ring. Show hit Virgil with a body slam and then stomped on him. Show smacked Virgil in the chest and followed up with a chokeslam. Show tagged in Mark. Mark did the worm and hit Virgil with an elbow drop for 3. Ted put some money in Virgil’s mouth and left.
SINGLES MATCH
Santino Marella defeated William Regal: Vladimir Kozlov was the guest referee. Santino went for a leg sweep but Regal pushed him down. Regal started attacking Santino’s left arm. Santino managed to roll up Regal and Vladimir fast counted, plus Santino had Regal’s tights. Bret Hart came out for some reason. Bret told the 3 guys in the ring to stand up on stage with him. Bret said he refuses to let history repeat itself again. All of the Superstars came out and stood on stage to make sure the main event works out.
TAG TEAM MATCH
John Cena & Randy Orton vs. Edge & Sheamus did not go to a finish: John and Sheamus started off. Sheamus locked in a side headlock but John locked in a headlock of his own. Sheamus grabbed the ropes. John locked in a full nelson but Sheamus grabbed the ropes again. John wrenched the arm and tagged in Randy. Randy took down Sheamus in a side headlock. Sheamus started stomping on Randy and tagged in Edge, who walked right into an inverted backbreaker. Randy went for the RKO but Edge pushed him away. Back from commercial John and Edge were brawling. John went for the AA but Edge countered and walked into a clothesline. Edge rolled out of the ring after a while and hung John on the ropes while he was getting back in the ring. Edge dragged John to his corner and tagged in Sheamus. Sheamus took down John with a punch for 2. Sheamus kneed John and tagged in Edge. Edge went for a vertical suplex but John reversed it into one of his own. John tried to tag in Randy but Sheamus stopped him. Sheamus took over on John and threw him into the dasher boards on the outside. Sheamus locked in a sleeper. John stood up even though Sheamus was wrapped around him and nearly tagged in Randy but passed out. Edge tagged in and started stomping on John. John went for the AA but Edge reversed it. Edge got ready for the spear but missed and nailed the turnbuckle. John got the hot tag to Randy. Randy hit Sheamus with the hanging DDT. Randy got ready for the RKO. Edge ran up behind Randy and got hit with the RKO and Sheamus hit Randy with an axehandle right after. Sheamus dropped Randy with the urinage backbreaker for 2. After a big beating Randy was finally able to clothesline Edge. Randy got the hot tag to John who exploded on Edge when the lights suddenly went out. On the Tron it showed the NXT guys destroying the backstage area. They threw Bret into the back of a limo. The limo started slamming into cars all over the parking lot. They opened the door and yelled at Bret some more before the limo started speeding around slamming into cars again. They pulled Bret out of the back. Wade said he wanted an answer by Sunday and they left. So choking with a tie is too far, but throwing someone into the back of a limo and having it crash into cars all over the place is fine.
