October 26, 2009 – Buffalo, New York
Announcers: Michael Cole & Jerry “The King” Lawler
IN THE RING
Chris Jericho & The Big Show + RAW guest co-hosts Joey Lagano & Kyle Bush: Chris Jericho came out waving the Bragging Rights trophy, along with the Big Show – who betrayed RAW last night by helping SmackDown! win the Bragging Rights match. The Big Show said despite what happened last night, he was still a proud member of the RAW roster. Jericho told Big Show that he doesn’t have to explain his actions to the people, because he did what he did out of loyalty. Big Show said there was something he had to tell Jericho. Jericho congratulated Big Show for finally shutting up DX. Big Show started to talk again, but Jericho interrupted and said SmackDown! would have won anyway because he was the captain and he was a genius. Big Show said he helped SmackDown! to help himself, because he struck a deal with Theodore Long and he is now the Undertaker’s next challenger for the World Heavyweight title. Jericho was mad that he didn’t run that by him first. Suddenly they showed a camera outside where two Nascar vehicles were burning up the parking lot. RAW guest co-hosts Joey Lagano & Kyle Bush drove right into the arena and were joined by RAW’s official guest host whores – the Bella Twins. Kyle Bush said he doesn’t like what Big Show did last night but he understands. Bush congratulated Big Show and shook his hand, but Lagano disagreed with the Big Show and wouldn’t shake his hand. Bush said Lagano was young and dumb and didn’t know much about championships. Bad acting from two skinny punks. Bush then went heel and insulted the city of Buffalo. Lagano booked Big Show against the man he sucker-punched last night, Triple H. Bush booked Chris Jericho in a match with Kofi Johnson… oops Kingston!
SINGLES MATCH
Kofi Kingston defeated Chris Jericho with the Trouble in Paradise: After the match, former WWE champion Randy Orton attacked Kofi Kingston and threw him off the ramp head-first into the side of the stage!
BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
Josh Mathews & Randy Orton + Ted DiBiase Jr. & Cody Rhodes: Josh Mathews asked Randy Orton to explain why he attacked Kofi Kingston. Orton said Kofi had no business interfering in his match last night, and if it wasn’t for Kofi he would still be WWE champion. Orton said you can call it an attack, but he calls it justice. Orton added that he has only just begun. Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes came in and said Orton was robbed last night, and offered him a token of their gratitude for everything he’s done for them. DiBiase & Rhodes unveiled a Nascar with Randy Orton’s image on the hood. Orton said it was incredible. Rhodes said they have another surprise tonight, involving John Cena. DiBiase said it was only a matter of time before the WWE title comes back to Legacy. Orton was hypnotized by his own picture on the hood of the car..
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Eve Torres & RAW guest co-hosts Joey Lagano & Kyle Bush + Jack Swagger + Mike Mizanin: Eve Torres helped the Nascar guys plug their Nascar stuff – which I don’t care about so I’m not gonna help by recapping. Jock Swagger came in and introduced himself, saying they all had a lot in common. Swagger said WWE champion John Cena needs a new opponent, and Swagger wanted it to be him. Bush & Lagano said they would pick Cena’s next opponent tonight. Swagger then noticed Eve and started hitting on her. WWE United States champion Mike Mizanin came in and bragging about being the only RAW Superstar to win last night. The Miz said he fully expects to take on and beat John Cena at Survivor Series. The Miz kissed Eve’s hand and she almost threw up..
MIXED TAG TEAM MATCH
Melina Perez & Santino Marella defeated Jillian Hall & Chavo Guerrero: It was funny before the match Melina & Santino were walking backstage surrounded by Popparatzi, and Santino was getting blinded by the flashes going on around him but he was trying to stay cool at the same time….. Hornswoggle showed up wearing DX gear late in the match to distract Chavo Guerrero. Melina pinned Jillian to win the match. Hornswoggle was doing all the DX chops, but he was served with a legal document. Hornswoggle asked Jerry Lawler to read it for him, and Lawler explained that it was from DX ordering Hornswoggle to cease and desist using their trademarks. Hornswoggle walked out looking broken hearted.. Editor’s Note: I hope DX don’t mind me trying to sell a couple of their books.
IN THE RING
Legacy (Ted DiBiase Jr. & Cody Rhodes) + John Cena: Ring announcer Justin Roberts introduced new WWE champion John Cena, but Legacy members Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes came out instead. DiBiase said just because Orton can’t wrestle for the WWE championship, doesn’t mean they can’t. DiBiase said they would bring back the WWE championship to Legacy at Survivor Series. DiBiase challenged John Cena to accept their challenge for a handicap match right now. John Cena came out and talked about barely surviving the Iron Man Match from last night. Cena said DiBiase & Rhodes have a lot to learn. Cena said if they want a shot at the championship, they have to work for it – and their opponents were Montel Vontavious Porter & Mark Henry.
TAG TEAM MATCH
Montel Vontavious Porter & Mark Henry defeated Legacy (Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes):
IN THE RING
Legacy (Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes) + Randy Orton + Kofi Kingston: Randy Orton came down looking like he was in a trans. Orton said the guest hosts are trying to find the next opponent for John Cena, and it looks like it will not be HIM. Orton said he understands the stips from last night, but he doesn’t care, and deserves a rematch for the WWE championship. Orton said he would do whatever it takes to get back his WWE championship. Kofi Kingston came up on the big screen and said nobody cares what Orton has to say! Orton told Kingston to come down and say it to his face! Kofi said he was already doing that, and the camera paned back to reveal that he was standing on Orton’s personal Nascar. Kingston rammed a 300 pound piece of equipment into the car and it didn’t even make a dent. Kingston then began to scrap up and down the side of the car with a key, and then smashed a bug on the hood with a crowbar. Kingston wanted to fix the paint job so he poured a bucket of orange paint over the hood which used to have a picture of Orton on it. Kofi said he doesn’t think Orton has ever looked better!
NON (WWE UNITED STATES) TITLE MATCH
Evan Bourne defeated WWE United States champion Mike “The Miz” Mizanin by Countout: Eve Torres was the special guest ring announcer for this match, since she will be starting a storyline with the Miz soon. Midway through the match, Jack Swagger came down to ringside and stood in front of Eve Torres. Swagger took the microphone and said nobody is watching the Miz, but everyone is watching Eve Torres. Swagger said while everyone was watching Eve, she was watching the All-American American. The Miz went after Swagger, and Evan Bourne jumped over the top rope onto both the Miz & Swagger. The Miz was counted out and Evan Bourne was awarded the victory!
SINGLES MATCH
Sheamus defeated Jamie Noble: Before the match, Kyle Bush & Joey Lagano praised Jamie Noble and wanted to see how he does against RAW’s newest Superstar, “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus! No real explanation as to why Sheamus was shifted from ECW to RAW, but I do know that he is close with Triple H in the gym.
SINGLES MATCH
Triple H defeated The Big Show w/Chris Jericho: Before the match, Triple H said the match was changed to a Lumberjack match, and the Lumberjacks are all the guys Big Show screwed over last night. The RAW roster came out and Chris Jericho slipped away through the crowd with his Bragging Rights trophy. Shawn Michaels was one of the Lumberjacks, and added that it was also a no disqualification match – which means the Lumberjacks can do whatever they wanted. Michaels excused referee Charles Robinson, because they had a special guest referee tonight. John Cena hit the ring with a referee shirt and the match began, so they naturally cut to commercial. Every time Big Show was thrown out of the ring, the RAW guys would beat on him and throw him back in the ring! The finish saw several RAW guys interfere, and then referee John Cena gave Big Show the Attitude Adjustment, then Shawn Michaels hit Big Show with the superkick, then Triple H hit a Pedigree for the WIN! Kyle Bush & Joey Lagano came out to the stage and brought out Hornswoggle to help them announce that John Cena would wrestle Triple H and Shawn Michaels in a triple threat match at Survivor Series!
