John Cena + Randy Orton + Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. + Triple H: John Cena said he was excited, but he’s always excited, and he can tell the WWE Universe is excited! Cena hyped ZZ Top being the guest host of RAW and then talked about Night of Champions on PPV. Cena said it will be Cena vs. Orton vs. HHH, and reminded everyone that that was the main event of WrestleMania 24. Randy Orton came out and reminded everyone that he kicked HHH in the skull and pinned Cena for the victory at WrestleMania 24. Orton said this Sunday history will repeat itself. Cena said Orton’s music says he hears voices in his head. Cena said he doesn’t hear voices in his head, but he does hear 10,000 voices here tonight and it sounds like they want to get an early start on Sunday’s main event. Cena and Orton squared off, but Orton backed out of the ring and suggested Cena rethink that. Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase showed up and surrounded Cena along with Orton. Cena was ready to fight, and Triple H joined him – so all three Legacy members retreated.. HHH said he never thought it was possible to get to the point where he really doesn’t care if he wins the WWE championship this Sunday. HHH said he doesn’t care if Cena wins the championship, as long as Orton doesn’t. HHH talked about Seth Green last week. Orton tried to make the tag team main event a handicap match. Cena thought Orton just wanted to sabotage the partnership between he and HHH. Both Cena & HHH accepted the challenge anyway..

ZZ Top (Dusty Hill & Billy Gibbons) + Santino Marella: ZZ Top were holding guitars talking about running the show tonight when Santino Marella came in and said they were his favorite band. ZZ Top gave Satino a fake beard, a guitar, and some cheap sun glasses and started jamming with him..
SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH
Kofi Kingston & Montel Vontavious Porter & Primo Colon defeated The Big Show & Jack Swagger & Carlito Colon: Kofi Kingston defends his WWE United States title at Night of Champions in a Six-Pack Challenge against the other five participants of this match. Correction, you can switch out Primo for Mike Mizanin at the PPV. Primo pinned his brother Carlito to win the match for his team. After the match, the Big Show destroyed everybody – even his own teammates!

ZZ Top (Dusty Hill & Billy Gibbons) & Santino Marella + Chris Jericho: ZZ Top & Santino praised the Big Show and said ZZ Top’s summer tour will be a “big show” too. Chris Jericho, also a rock star, came in and called ZZ Top two icons of entertainment. Jericho said he was a big fan of ZZ Top, and he was sure they were fans of Fozzy. Of course they never heard of Fozzy. Jericho wanted to jam like hell-raisers, but instead ZZ Top booked Jericho in a match with Mark Henry. They started playing their guitars and Jericho creeped away..

Jerry “The King” Lawler defeated THE Brian Kendrick: Before the match, Brian Kendrick yelled at Jerry “The King” Lawler for “disrespecting” him. It turned out that The King was Brian Kendrick’s opponent!

Josh Mathews & Mickie James: Mickie James talked about her match with WWE Diva’s champion Maryse Oulette. Mickie said it was Night of Champions – not Trampions (clever). The Miz interrupted Mickie and said that Maryse was beautiful and glamourous, while Mickie will be working at a waffle house in 10 years. Mickie said she scored a pinfall on Maryse and the Miz can’t score at all. Maryse showed up in a hot black dress and sprayed Mickie in the face with a mystery spray can..

“World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry defeated Chris Jericho by DQ: They kept fighting after the match and Mark Henry countered a Code-breaker into a World’s Strongest Slam!

ZZ Top (Dusty Hill & Billy Gibbons) & Santino Marella + Chavo Guerrero: Chavo Guerrero came in and said he was disgusted with how he has been treated on RAW lately. Chavo said he was a Guerrero and deserves to be treated with respect. ZZ Top agreed and booked Chavo in a Sharp Dressed Man (Tuxedo) match with Hornswoggle. Chavo liked the idea and ZZ Top started playing the song “Sharp Dressed Man.”
SHARP DRESSED MAN TUXEDO MATCH
Hornswoggle defeated Chavo Guerrero: Lilian Garcia screwed up the introduction of the match, but she is such a sweetheart. The punch line here was that somebody sewed the legs of Chavo’s pants together so he looked like a penguin. Hornswoggle began ripping off Chavo’s clothes, and of course he had embarrassing underwear on.

Triple H & John Cena: John Cena talked to Triple H about their strategy tonight and plans for Night of Champions. They agreed that tonight they could count on each other to shut Randy Orton up tonight – but Sunday would be a different story.

Kelly Kelly came in and put her leg up on a chair while ZZ Top started playing the song “Legs.” All the Diva’s came in one at a time shaking their money makers. Santino started to strip then the music stopped and ZZ Top walked out. Santino kept dancing anyway…

Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. & Chris Jericho: Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. threatened to jumped Chris Jericho, but they were too curious about who Jericho’s partner would be on Sunday. Rhodes & DiBiase said nobody would want to team up with a self-rightous condesending loser. Rhodes said Jericho’s father was a bench-warming hocker player, but not everybody’s dad can be a WWE legend. Jericho said he’s held more titles than both of their fathers combined. Jericho added that he’s not a loser because he’s a WWE Tag team champion and half the WWE roster is knocking down his door to be his partner. DiBiase said after they beat Jericho for the titles maybe Randy Orton will come out and kick Jericho in the head! Jericho said maybe Orton will be his partner…..
