General Manager Vickie Guerrero + Legacy (Randy Orton & Ted DiBiase Jr. & Cody Rhodes) + WWE United States champion Montel Vontavious Porter: Vickie Guerrero said she was proud of her husband, Edge, after beating John Cena in a Last Man Standing Match at Backlash to win the World Heavyweight title. Vickie then introduced the NEW WWE champion, Randy Orton – who came out with Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes by his side. Orton said the McMahon family is mourning because their champion has fallen. Orton said after five long years he beat Triple H and kicked him in the skull and put him out just like he said he was going to do. Orton insulted the fans and proclaimed that he was a success. Orton said he created a Legacy out of the destruction of the entire McMahon family. Orton told the RAW locker room to respect him or they will end up like Triple H. WWE United States champion Montel Vontavious Porter came out and said last time he checked it wasn’t the Randy Orton show. MVP said Orton was the WWE champion, but that isn’t going to last forever. Cody Rhodes begged Orton to let them take care of MVP, but Orton called him off. Vickie booked Randy Orton vs. MVP tonight!

Vickie Guerrero & the Big Show: Vickie Guerrero hugged the Big Show and thanked him for helping Edge win the World Heavyweight title at Backlash. Vickie said she knows he did it for business reasons. Big Show thanked Vickie for booking him in a number one contenders match, then tried to kiss her. Vickie backed off and said from now on it would be strictly professional for the sake of RAW!
EIGHT-DIVA TAG TEAM MATCH
Santina Marella & Kelly Kelly & Mickie James & Brie Bella defeated Maryse Ouellet & Jillian Hall & Beth Phoenix & Rosa Mendes: The Bella girl slipped under the ring, and Rosa Mendes gave chase, but found BOTH Bellas under the ring! Hornswoggle popped out and got kisses from the Bellas before going after Mendes. Inside the ring, Santina Merella scored the victory to win the match! During the celebration, Hornswoggle saw up Santina’s dress and saw something that gave him a “mini heart attack” then he got scared and ran away!

Matt Hardy: Matt said last night his little brother Jeff proved that he was an insensitive heartless barbarian. Matt held up his broken hand in a cast, which he suffered at Backlash. Matt said he was not a quitter, and has never quit anything in his entire life. Matt said after Jeff broke his hand he had no other option. Matt said he has no option tonight, because he is being forced to wrestle. Matt made it clear he was wrestling under protest tonight..

Matt Hardy defeated Goldust: Matt Hardy knocked out Goldust with his cast to pick up a cheap victory. Jerry Lawler questioned if the hand was really broken or not…
NON (WWE CHAMPIONSHIP) TITLE MATCH
WWE United States champion Montel Vontavious Porter defeated WWE champion Randy Orton by DQ: They had a pretty good match going until Shane McMahon showed up and whacked the crap out of Randy Orton with a kendo stick! Shane delivered a top rope elbow and ran away just before Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. hit the ring. Shane went up to the upper deck and gloated down at Legacy from above!

Mike “The Miz” Mizanin: The Miz bragged about his accomplishments and said if you Google his name you’d get more hits than everybody else in the building combined. The Miz said he has come to RAW to make an impact, and take on the biggest baddest superstar on the show. The Miz challenged John Cena! Everybody knew John Cena was injured at Backlash and wasn’t at RAW. Cena’s music played for a minute, and then the Miz declared that Cena was scared of him. The Miz said Cena likes to say “You Can’t See Me” but he’s right, he can’t see Cena because his movies aren’t in theatre long enough! The Miz ordered Lilian Garcia to announce him the winner by forfeit. Lilian refused, so the Miz announced himself the winner (stealing Mr. Kennedy’s gimmick).

BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW
John Matthews & Batista: Josh Matthews asked Batista if he felt responsible for Triple H losing the WWE championship at Backlash. Batista said he knows what Triple H is going through and it was only a matter of time before he comes back. Batista said he is going to go out there and beat the Big Show to become the number one contender. Batista said he would hurt Randy Orton and take away the WWE championship…
ON STAGE: Vickie Guerrero came out and showed a video featuring clips from the Orton-HHH feud. Vickie booked Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon next week!

Batista defeated The Big Show: Midway through the match, John Cena stumbled out to the stage barely able to stand on his own two feet. The Big Show walked up the isle towards Cena, and lost focus long enough to get counted out! Batista is the number one contender! Cena just looked down at Big Show, who was speared by Batista for good measure!
