Randy Orton + Vince McMahon: Randy Orton stumbled to the ring, showing the battle scars from his showdown with Triple H at WrestleMania. Orton said he doesn’t know what sickens him more; the fact that Triple H used a sledgehammer to beat him or the fact that ‘you people’ enjoyed it so much. Orton said last night proved nothing, and HHH proved he can’t beat him on his own. Orton said he will get his rematch because the McMahon family owes it to him, the company owes it to him, and all of ‘you people’ owe it to him. Orton said when he gets his rematch he will beat Triple H and take his rightful place as WWE champion. Orton added God help the McMahon family if they decide to get in his way again. Orton said he bashed the old man and his son in the skull, and RKO’d Stephanie…… then said Linda would be happy to see him or maybe he should introduce himself to the McMahon family grandchildren. That was enough to bring out grampy Vince McMahon, who came to the ring and force Orton to retreat. McMahon said if Orton wants to get his hands on the McMahon family members here he is! Vince declared that Orton would not get his rematch at Triple H. Vince booked Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, and Cody Rhodes vs. Triple H, Shane McMahon, and himself at Backlash!!! Orton said Vince made a match where he can hide behind Shane & HHH and claimed Vince was terrified of him. Vince said without Rhodes & DiBiase, Orton is a failure. Orton challenged Vince to a one-on-one match tonight. Orton guaranteed Vince won’t make it to Backlash. Orton said he will have his WrestleMania moment when he permanently puts Vince down. Vince started to sweat, but couragously accepted Orton’s challenge.

Punk & Rey Mysterio & Ricky Steamboat & John Cena defeated Edge & The Big Show & Chris Jericho & Matt Hardy & Kane: The match ended with Ricky Steamboat and Rey Mysterio doing stereo leaps off the top rope for the win! Steamboat completes his dream weekend! Ricky was congratulated by his teammates and then left in the ring alone to soak in the ovation from the fans. Cena, Mysterio, Hardy, and Punk lead the applause from the stage.

Chavo Guerrero & Vickie Guerrero: Vickie Guerrero said when she was named interim General Manager of RAW there was a clause that after WrestleMania she could pick one brand to be the G.M. for. Vickie said starting tonight she would be the permanent General Manager of RAW! Vickie explained that RAW was stale and she would save it. Vickie first point of order was to give Edge a rematch with World Heavyweight champion Edge. Vickie also changed the six-man-tag at Backlash to a championship match with Triple H’s WWE title on the line! Vickie thanked the fans for graciously welcoming her to RAW. They booed her out of the building… Vickie left but then came back and said she forgot to mention that the Edge-Cena match at Backlash would be a Last Man Standing match. That is why Vickie Guerrero shouldn’t be put on the LIVE RAW broadcast on a regular basis.

“Miss WrestleMania” Santina Marella + Beth Phoenix & Rosa Mendes: Santina Marella (Santino’s “twin sister”) explained that Santino’s heart was broken when he was not allowed to compete in the Diva battle royal. Santina said Santino is happy that his blood won the match. Santino wondered what was next for her, posing for Sports Illustrated, of finding a nice man and start having babies. Beth Phoenix & Rosa Mendes headed to the ring and told Santino to cut the crap and stop embarrassing the people. Beth said she doesn’t want to ever catch Santino in the Divas locker room again. Beth challenged “Santina” to a match tonight, and s(he) said s(he) was more of a woman that Beth will ever be. Beth asked if Santino was MAN ENOUGH. Santino (still in Santina character) called out a referee…

Santina Marella defeated Beth Phoenix w/Rosa Mendes: Rosa Mendes ended up getting in the middle of the confrontation, which saw Santina scored a victory over the Glamazon.
GRUDGE MATCH MAIN EVENT
Randy Orton vs. Vince McMahon ended in a No Contest: Late in the fight, Orton was lining up Vince for the punt kick to the head when Shane ran down and tackled Orton! Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase ran down to put the boots to Shane. Finally Triple H ran down and took out Rhodes & DiBiase and went after Orton in the ring. HHH bashed Orton, but DiBiase & Rhodes returned to help Orton triple-team the WWE champion. DiBiase also planted Shane with some kind of choke-slam. Suddenly Batista’s music played and the Animal ran to the ring and took out all three Legacy members!!!! Shane fed Rhodes to Batista for a bone-crunching Batista-bomb! Vince said Orton was right, he wasn’t going to make it to Backlash – so Batista was going to take his place!!!
