John Cena: John Cena said he loves WWE, but the great thing about WWE is that it provides moments that transcent time. Cena remembered when Hogan first picked up Andre The Giant, when Shawn Michaels’ “boyhood dream” came true, and when Stone Cold Steve Austin started whoopin’ some ass. Cena said that in two weeks at Night of Champions there will be a moment like that when he has his arm raised and he can finally say “The Champ Is…….” – but before Cena could complete his thought, Triple H‘s music played and the WWE champion came to the ring to confront his challenger. Triple H talked about John Cena interfering in his match with Jeff Hardy last week, causing him to get counted out, and warned him to not get involved with future matches. Cena said Triple H tripped him two weeks ago. Cena brought up the fact that he made Triple H tape out two years ago at WrestleMania. Cena said Triple H may have the WWE championship, but until he beats him (Cena) he has nothing. Triple H made fun of Cena’s “young” fanbase and they almost started fighting but Vince McMahon interrupted.ON STAGE

Vince McMahon & “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan (in a tuxedo): Hacksaw Duggan dailed the number but the answering machine answered and Vince McMahon gleefully declared “too bad!” and asked for another number. Hacksaw dialed the second number and they heard a DX ring tone – how sweet. Jesse Jordan of Bethel, OH answered and gave the correct password to win $50,000! Jesse started doing DX catch phrases but Vince cut him off before he could say “suck it!” Vince instead asked Jesse to do his best Hacksaw Duggan impression and he yelled “Hooooooooooooooooooooo!!”MATCH

Chris Jericho + SHOCKING GUEST APPEARANCE: Chris Jericho showed clips of what he did to Shawn Michaels last week and them blamed it all on the fans. Jericho said when he came back to the WWE he came to save the fans. Jericho said from now on he will be out to save himself. Jericho said he hasn’t changed, it was the fans who have changed, saying they have become morally corrupt. Jericho said he was punishing Shawn Michaels for the sins of the fans. Jericho called out Shawn Michaels, who was not there due to an “eye” injury sustained last week. Instead, the fans, and more importantly Chris Jericho, was shocked when he was confronted by………. “the Nature Boy” Ric Flair!!!!!! They went to commercial while WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair received a three minute standing ovation. Flair walked up to Jericho and snatched the microphone from his hand. Flair said he can’t wrestle any more because he is retired, but challenged Jericho to a fight in the parking lot. Flair ripped off his jacket and dropped the elbow on it. Flair lured Jericho out to the back door where Triple H got in the way of Jericho. Triple H said he was looking for an excuse to fight Jericho, and Jericho quickly backed down from the WWE champion.BACKSTAGE
Triple H & Ric Flair + Vince McMahon: Ric Flair was fired up about Triple H stopping him from fighting Chris Jericho in the parking lot. Vince McMahon showed up and said Flair was looking good but he cannot be interfering with the show so he kicked him out of the building. WWE champion Triple H defeated Chris Jericho by DQ: The match ended in a DQ after Lance Cade showed up and helped Chris Jericho double-team Triple H. John Cena ran down to help Triple H fend off the heels, but Triple H ended up tackling Cena. Jericho and Cade recovered and knocked both Cena and HHH out cold. Jericho stood in the middle of the ring applauding Lance Cade, obviously impressed by his successful attempt to make an impact on RAW.
