WWE champion Triple H + John Cena + Jeff Hardy + Vince McMahon (on screen): They showed clips of Randy Orton breaking his collar-bone at One Night Stand and Triple H proclaimed that the Age of Orton was officially DEAD. Triple H said he doesn’t know who is next, and he doesn’t care. Right on cue, John Cena hit the ring and said he knows how Triple H’s feels. John Cena challenged Triple H, and HHH said “If you want some, come get some.” Jeff Hardy stumbled and limped out to the ring, selling his injuries from the Falls Count Anywhere match with Umaga at One Night Stand. Jeff pointed out that he also won at One Night Stand so he is also in line for a WWE title shot. Triple H said he didn’t care, and told them to work it out between themselves. Jeff Hardy suggested he and John Cena wrestle for the first time tonight. Vince McMahon came on the big screen and suggested John Cena vs. Jeff Hardy (basically taking credit for Jeff Hardy’s idea).
MATCH
Mr. Kennedy defeated Umaga by Countout: Mr. Kennedy’s scheduled opponent was Paul Burchill, but he said he had to help Katie Lea prepare for her first Divas match later tonight, but he found a suitable replacement (Umaga). Umaga, whose ribs were taped, took a dive onto the announce table and ended up getting counted out. Paul Burchill snuck up behind Mr. Kennedy andclipped his knee and nailed his finisher!
IN THE RING (MILLION DOLLAR MANIA)
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon: Vince McMahon had someone bring out a plastic case containing a million dollars! He was surrounded by armed security and warned the fans to not try anything funny. Vince McMahon explained that he by the end of next week he will have given away the whole million dollars. Vince said all the fans have to do to participate is sign up on WWE.com and be watching RAW live next week. Vince noted that it was only open to residents of the U.S. – F’ you, Vince! (I’m Canadian). Vince saidhe wanted to get more people watching WWE, and get people who used to watch WWE (but don’t now) to return to the product. Plus people who have never watched WWE, and look down on WWE fans – calling them “snobs.” Vince said the marquee outside should read NO SNOBS ALLOWED. Vince told the fans to register on WWE.com and next week on RAW it’s all about the money.
NON (WORLD TAG TEAM) TITLE MATCH
Santino Marella & Carlito Cool defeated World Tag Team champions Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes: “Rowdy” Roddy Piper was the special guest time-keeper (or “keener” according to Cody Rhodes) for this match. After a few minutes, Roddy Piper tried to interfere, targetting Santino Marella, but it backfired and he accidentally helped Santino win the match!
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Santino Marella & Carlito Cool + Todd Grisham: Santino proclaimed that they were “weiners,” and Carlito corrected him and said “winners.” Todd Grisham showed up and interviewed Santino Marella about his match with Cousin Sal on SmackDown! and kept getting Jimmy Kimmel mixed up with David Letterman, Jay Leno, and the dog on Conan O’Brien.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes: Hardcore Holly scolded Cody Rhodes for not telling him that Roddy Piper was going to be out there. Holly said he was the veteran of the team and needs to know about things like that. Holly said if this keeps up they won’t be tag team champions any more. Holly hit the showers and Ted DiBiase Jr. slipped in and said he was about three weeks away from chosing a partner to challenge for the World Tag Team titles.
INTERVIEW VIA VIDEO HOOK-UP
Jim Ross & Jerry Lawler + Chris Jericho (backstage): Chris Jericho said he hasn’t been defending the WWE Intercontinental title lately, but that will all change tonight in his match with JBL. They were about to cut to break when Jericho added that he would dedicate the match to Shawn Michaels tonight.
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH
Chris Jericho defeated John Bradshaw Layfield by DQ to retain the WWE Intercontinental title: JBL got himself disqualified for introducting a chair into the match. Jericho got his hands on the chair and was about to smash the fallen JBL with it, but had second thoughts. Jericho dropped the chair and quietly left with his Intercontinental belt.
DIVAS TAG TEAM MATCH
Beth Phoenix & Katie Lea defeated Mickie James & Melina Perez: The match ended when Katie Lea pinned WWE Women’s champion Mickie James! Paul Burchill came down to congratulate his sister, but was attacked from behind by Mr. Kennedy!

Mickie James + John Cena: Mickie James was getting checked by the trainer when John Cena came in to apologize for everyone gossiping about them. John Cena said Mickie forgot something last night and gave Mickie her panties back.

John Cena defeated Jeff Hardy: During the opening moments of the match, a fan jumped into the ring and had to be physically dragged out of the arena and caused a major disruption in the building. After John Cena won the match, WWE champion Triple H came out to the stage as Cena was coming up the ramp. They had a brief stare-down and Triple H held the spinner belt over his head as the show went off the air.
